Trio combo ( classic slider, English Cod, and steakhouse) with onion rings
    Allan P.

I do not know how long it has been open. This has many locations. Please refer to the website for more details. We just happen to be in the area and saw this place. We were craving small but savory things to eat. This place fit our needs. Especially an excuse to get out of the rain at time we went. We are so glad to try it out. I will be honest, we were a bit overwhelmed by the choices they had available. Bre was taking our order at the time. Asked if we have any questions. We told her it was our first time here. She calmed our fears and kindly walked us through the menu. We did not know what to get. So she made a few suggestions. We started out with the trio combo. That way we could sample a little bit of what we could. One order we did the trio combo (savvy classic, fried chicken, steak house) with fries and sweet tea. Other was also with a trio combo ( steak house, English Cod, fried chicken) onion rings and fresh lemonade. Bre said she loved the steakhouse slider. So we had to try it. The food came out very fast and fresh. We still saw the steam coming out from it. Few other tables said it was a little bit of a wait. But honestly, well worth the wait. You know it has to be freshly made. Ours came quickly, but honestly, it depends if they are busy with other orders. Ours came pretty quickly due it was not as busy at the time. They all made fresh at every order to my knowledge. The seating is limited. Seating is just several tables with hard metal chairs and no padding. However, if you have a large group of people. They have a drive thru and of course, you can get your order to go. I also overheard few people order in advance from the website and call and just come in and pick up their order? One thing that surprised me. One of the owners happened to be in the store and stop by our table. Sean was amazing! He made sure we had a great experience. We mentioned that the onions rings are great but a little overcooked. He made sure to make it right. He originally offered to make a fresh batch of them. We kindly declined. He made a fresh batch of fries for us instead. He did not have to do that. I know that it may sound silly but that makes a good impression on the restaurant and us! We are so thankful! The food was delicious and staff excellent! WiFi available. It maybe out of the area for most. In the north Gulfport area, off highway 49. I definitely recommend stopping by if you are in the area and looking for something savory and delicious. I especially love that they have a variety of options other than just sliders. Sliders, chicken tenders, cheese curds, onion rings, custard shakes, and etc. stop by and try it for yourself and see. You will not be disappointed. In my opinion.

Looks to be fairly new, it's a locally owned fast food spot. The staff were nice and patience. This was my first time visiting, they were more than happy to answer my questions. It's moderately priced. The burgers are slider sized which was nice as it allowed me to try multiple ones. The restaurant grounds seemed to be clean and well maintained.

I ordered a steakhouse slider and original. They were both good. I loved that steakhouse! The fries were nice and crispy. The savvy sauce had some spice to it! The service was excellent, very polite and explained everything to us. Got to speak to the owner and he's a really cool guy. The inside is kinda on the small side but still we were able to sit down to eat. Great vibes. They should really consider coming to OKC, I think they'd do great back home.

Though (as another reviewer said) I WANTED to love the food here, it's honestly just not very good. The burger was overcooked and tasted like cafeteria food, the lemonade was sour and warm, and the chicken strips were mostly gristle and breading. The one bright point of the meal - the fries! They were excellent, if a little lacking in crispness. I just can't recommend this place. I will say that the service was great! The young man who took our order greeted us when we entered and was very polite. Note: they play pretty loud music in here! We were talking at a much higher volume than I would expect for a fast food place.

The service was fine and the sliders were good. What ruined it was the roach falling into my food there at the end.

What stood out most to me, especially as a Californian, was the homemade touch in every bite. The tacos had homemade pico de gallo, guacamole, pickled onions, and taco sauce. You can really taste the care and effort they put into making things from scratch. Pair that with a gorgeous waterfront view and friendly, welcoming staff, and you've got a perfect dining experience. It was originally named Marina Cantina but is under new ownership. Parking is a bit sparse here, and you used to be able to park under the bridge but that was blocked off last time I went. You may have to park in the overflow gravel lot just west of the building, which also serves as parking for the excellent Blue Dog Bistro next door. We started with the Tres Amigos appetizer, which included a pile of fresh chips combined with salsa, cheese sauce, and black bean sauce. It was great and really meant for more than two people. They don't skimp on this one. I've been here several times and always get the Shrimp A Go Go poboy, which is pictured here. Although I feel like it could have used a few more shrimp for the price point, it was really good and comes with this creamy sort of salsa that pairs well with the fried shrimp. My wife got the grilled chicken sandwich, and honestly it was bigger and looked better than my poboy. I am definitely trying that next time. I hope this place is doing well because it never seems very busy when we go. It's like something is missing on the inside to liven it up. Our tables were covered in epoxy that was cracked and we saw buckling on the wood floors, most likely from humidity. Service has always been pretty quick and I have never had any complaints. I know the City caused a lot of drama for the previous owners, which is unfortunate. Definitely check this place out if you're looking for a place to hang out and have a few drinks and great food.

Unfortunately we were left pretty underwhelmed with the experience. It's not that Woody's is bad, per se, it just isn't...good. The service was great. Our server, Jaclyn, was very attentive and helpful. She didn't hover but she made sure we had what we needed and was nearby if we had questions or requests. Jaclyn recommended the margarita, which is where things started going downhill. My dad ordered a classic lime margarita and didn't take more than a couple drinks of it. We all tried it and agreed it just had a nasty flavor. Sort of like bad white grape juice? It was weird, and of course there's a little asterisk on the menu that notes all alcohol sales as final. We were unimpressed with that but didn't even try to argue the point. Our food came next. It was actually incredibly fast service, especially considering the 30-top that was seated when we arrived, with their orders given to the kitchen right before ours. Everything was hot and fresh, though not all delicious. Here's a run down of my family's reviews of their food: Build-A-Burger w/ Amer. cheese - A bit too thick and tough like the meat had been slightly overworked, but it had a great flavor and was seasoned well. The edges were burnt and it was well done, not medium well. Good beer-battered fries. Spicy Hawaiian chicken sandwich - Very flavorful and tropical but the toppings made the bun soggy and the ratio of filling to bun was way off, even with ham and lettuce removed. Crab cake tower - The fried green tomatoes and sauce were great, as was the corn bean salsa that came with it. The crab cakes were good too, though nothing special. The shrimp on top were juicy and well-seasoned. Wouldn't go back for it though. Korean pork tacos w/ mac & cheese - They were okay. The slaw included was a bit too sour but the pork was juicy and flavorful. The mac & cheese was too bland. Chicken strips & fries - The chicken tenders were cut wrong so they were hard to eat. I had to cut them up with a fork and knife to get bite-sized pieces that I could chew. They had a good flavor but the technique needs some work. The beer-battered fries have a strange seasoning on them that got more unpleasant the more I ate, but everyone else liked them, so that's probably just me. This is one of my least favorite restaurants we've been to on the Gulf Coast, which is unfortunate because I honestly thought I was going to like it a lot! For the price, I don't think this is a great place, especially because it's pretty out of the way from the main drag(s).

While Rebel Dip didn't provide a *great* burger, they did provide a *good* burger. That was enough for me after several days of swings and misses at several different restaurants. This place is exactly what it claims to be: an old-style drive-in with a walk up counter and a few picnic tables for customers who want to eat there. The service was...serviceable. The woman at the counter wasn't very nice, but she took our orders fine. They didn't put my dad's shake out with his meal so we had to ask for it, which seemed to displease her. The food was good. Nothing special but it filled us up and it wasn't marked up to insane prices like a lot of restaurants in the area. The fries were seasoned and a nice-sized portion. The burgers were alright. Definitely tasty enough that we finished them. The shake was good too! Not too chocolatey and very thick. One of my friends got a pork sandwich and polished it off in a matter of minutes. So, would I recommend Rebel Dip? The answer is...probably? If a better smashburger place opened up, it would be a no based on the food alone, but it's kind of worth it just for the experience.

The atmosphere is casual but with an upbeat tone. I do not know how the experience in the evening is. However, during lunch time seems to be a great casual /classy lunch experience. I forgot her name, she was amazing! She asked if we like something to drink. I mentioned it was too early for a drink. Much appreciated. They do have a large selection of alcohol. (Drink responsibly). If not drink, how about delicious appetizer. We thank her and declined on both. Just ask for sweet tea. She came back with our drinks. She mentioned that they are offering special if we are interested. It sounds great so I asked for it. We started out with the silly Philly sandwich that comes with fries. Looks delicious. The sandwich is melted cheese with sliced thin steak meat. Comes with thinly sliced green peppers and onions. And of course, the special. It looks so delicious as it came out. I surprised how big it was. Appeared to be a big a large potato or size of two potatoes. Loaded up with small pieces of steak, shrimp, green peppers, onions, sauce (hard to describe), and light dusting of seasoning on it. Overall, great experience! We are glad we went. WiFi I can tell. Stop by if you want some delicious food and great service. You will not regret it if you are nearby.
