The food here was decent. Nothing that I can't get at home in OKC. I created my own boil with crab legs and sausage. My mild spicy level was definitely feeling like medium The potatoes, corn, and egg were good of course. I added ramen and it was really good too. It's a family friendly place. Our waitress was awful. DONT GO HERE FOR CRAWFISH! we came because everything else was closed, because it was a monday and a lot of the good crawfish places are closed on mondays. went to this location yesterday. we ordered quite a bit of crawfish, thinking they would be good since they have amazing crab. to be honest, they were not good at all. they dusted them in some sort of seasoning, and the crawfish itself tasted like it hadn't been seasoned at all. our waitress visited us a few times, until it was time to pay. she stood over by another table of workers (i believe; don't quote me.) and left us sitting for 20 minutes with the check and never came back. we had to go to the front to pay, and when we left she was on her phone. read more

This is the second review I've ever left in my life and it has to be a pretty terrible experience for me to do so. Won't go into detail, but I will say we did not eat lunch, because they only had frozen crawfish but instead had four double shots of 1800 tequila and our bill was just under $75. This is absolutely ridiculous and not even Las Vegas charges this much for drinks, which is unbelievable as well. Save money on the decor and lower your drink prices. I have been looking forward to trying seafood boils, and finding a place that I like Mr & Mrs Crab was great compared to places I've been to so far. My criticism is the crab seems like it was cooked and left for too long and the spice levels aren't even remotely spicy like the menu stated and it was extremely oily and salty. The waitress was kind and made sure we had everything we needed. The place was family-friendly and comfortable. I would be back once I get to craving some seafood boils. A weird thing is that when I asked for a pina colada the waitress said it's served on the rocks, which was disappointing. I almost forgot our appetizer came out at the same time as our food. Ofcourse when a place is this good, they get a lot of traffic and the staff falls behind trying to keep up with a lot of orders for dine in AND to-go. But stay patient. They have earned the right to move a tad slower. Only complaint is the female manager on duty Saturday is a** and if I was the owner id fire her. Even my server said "I can get my male manager if you want something to be done a situation because she(female manager) won't do anything. I went in late afternoon. There were about 5 parties there at the time. The waitress was very helpful in navigating the menu. The result was a plate of pick two that was exactly what I would have picked without a menu including the sides. The food was good (not greasy). Flaky but stayed on the fork. My son introduced us to this spot. During this COVID season and they definitely spaced the customers., keeping everyone distanced. We got there before my son arrived, so we had to wait to be seated, the hostess was very attentive checking to see if our guest arrived. The service was just okay, the server wasn't really attentive, only came check on us once. The drinks were given in a to go cup which was nice, especially during this season I also noticed our food sat on the table behind us (empty table) for about 4 minutes before the server served us. There were 2 workers that walked and looked at it, but never delivered to our table Once we got it, it was still , but the shrimp we ordered really didn't look like a pound. Food is great! 5 stars. Great flavor, good portions. Drinks is 1 star. $12 dollars for a margarita that contains 1oz of liquor (I asked the bartender). I asked whom I assumed was the mod, she said that they only put 1 Oz of tequila because they have to "fit it in the cup, and we have to comply with Mississippi liquor laws." Thought that was weird... We opted for a $2 1/2oz "booster" to add to our drinks because all we tasted was juice. Service was spotty... We ordered a bag with crab and stuff, waitress recommended we get two, so instead, I added some mussles. The bag was huge and we would have not been able to touch the second bag, barely finished the one so I'm glad I didn't take her advice. I understand that at a bag boil spot you use your hands, but we had to ask for crab crackers and a knife (we like to eat the corn off the cob) we used the clam shells as a spoon to eat the corn lol. First of all I want to say this is an honest review and will be genuine throughout. Mr. & Mrs. Crab is by far the best seafood not just in Gulfport but probably on the whole coast. The food has been right every single time and cooked to perfection from their seafood bundles to their wings. Just alone this month me and my better half has been there 3-4 times at different times to see if it would change any. Let me tell you.. it has not! The service was excellent every single time to the point our waiters had our cup constantly full and our check the moment we thought about it. There's nothing better than having a full cup of beverage when you need it most. This is however not a place you go too often with how expensive it can get but if you don't mind It's perfect cause everything else adds to their prices that simply isn't on the menu. Such as the lighting, music, tvs, clean restroom, ect. All around a great place to take family or friends for some good seafood or just quality time with a good meal! read more
