Really bad Customer Service you walk in and sit down and the bartenders at the other end of the bar have a very long conversation. That is almost obviously personal after several minutes you get up and walk towards your way your aunt say hello and she worked walks towards you with Fayr in her eyes. You didn't say what's wrong. She said I was down there with a customer and I say that wasn't a customer that was personal and I can leave she says OK. It's almost a textbook example of shit service from any training video that anybody in hospitality has ever had these guys are the fucking worst. read more

This is absolutely a dive bar and it is glorious. This is not only the best cheeseburger in Biloxi. It is the best cheeseburger I ever had. The bartender was super friendly and kind. As another reviewer said she was patient with a first timer. I ordered a double for my wife and she told me the pours were heavy and to try a single. She was absolutely correct. You do not need to order a double here. The bloody Mary was excellent! They cooked the burgers and steak right in the bar and it's very cool to be able to watch them. Located off the touristy path, this place is definitely a gem. Laid back friendly environment. I had one of the best tasting hamburgers during my visit - A GOOD BURGER, totally unexpected. They have other menu items I look forward to trying on my next visit. If you're visiting the gulf coast area give this place a try. It definitely didn't disappoint as it's filled with a great bar energy in its dimly lit environment. It is also open really late and if you want to keep the party going or call it a night after, this is your spot. The service was great as we sat at the bar and was greeted by one of the sister owners I believe. We came here specifically for their well known burgers but we also had drinks while we waited. She was super nice as us non locals stick out like sore thumbs. It was definitely a great memory that I unforgettably forgot due to the intoxication level we were at this point. Any time I see a banner in an ad for a food establishment that states, "Rated number one on the Biloxi Coast in 2024 for best burger," my curiosity is piqued to a maximum level. Such is the case with the Project Lounge bar and grill. An establishment that is predominantly a lounge/sports bar, the "to go" orders at lunch keeps the grill cook (Elijah) busy for a significant period of time. The methods used in grilling and preparing the orders left this retired registered nurse completely at ease concerning proper food handling. I visited the Project Lounge during lunch to experience the number one rated burger last year. Wow! Best burger EVER! The ground beef was a select cut of ground sirloin steak rich in flavor and juices. The grill cook grilled the burger to a perfect medium well degree of doneness, per my request. The burger was topped with cheddar cheese, as requested. The hamburger bun was grilled slightly with just enough butter to enhance the flavors of the burger. Garnished with tomato, lettuce, onion and a dill pickle spear on the side. A masterpiece of flavor and freshness! The bartender (Jadyn), was a friendly young woman who has a knack for the gift of gab, while keeping a keen eye out for the evidence of an unmet culinary need from the patrons. The sign above the bar states, "In God we trust. All others pay cash." Note this sign is not for amusement purposes. Cash only policy is enforced, with an ATM machine located at the back of the establishment for convenience. The grill offers a full menu of various burgers, grilled meat entrees, and other popular lunch selections. The ambiance is dark and smokey, as smoking is allowed. The music is eclectic, ranging from progressive country to the rock hits of the seventies, eighties and nineties and beyond. The hours of operation are from 11:00 a.m. until 4:00 a.m., every day of the week. Project Lounge is a dog friendly establishment with tolerance for emotional support animals (dogs) on a leash. All in all, a great dining experience reminiscent of neighborhood watering holes of yesteryear. I wholeheartedly vote for the Project Lounge to retain their title of Best Burgers for 2025 as well! read more

I have been enjoying the "infamous" ribeye steak sandwich for 50 years. From when Mrs. Martha. Worked at the Project Lounge on the beach (hurricane Katrina took it away) now I frequent the new location on Iberville Drive. Still enjoying that awesome steak sandwich & the best cheeseburger I have ever eaten. I'm not a huge burger eater, but when I want a burger The Project Lounge is my go-to. They cook the burger to order and to desired temperature. The patties are well seasoned. The toppings are always fresh. I especially love their bacon. It's not in strips, but real chopped up bacon, so there is bacon in every single bite. The staff is always friendly and accommodating. The prices are reasonable. They have a burger lunch special, $9 for a burger and soda. This is a dive bar, so it is not kid appropriate and it's dark and smoky (it doesn't bother me). So if this kind of stuff bothers you, call your order in and get it to go. They are cash only, but they have an ATM in the back. On game Sunday they have free snacks for you while you watch the Saints lose . I love this place. Come give it a try. read more

Staying locally, we asked the clerk of the hotel where ( on Thanksgiving Day) we could go have a drink. He suggested The Project Lounge. It was literally minutes away. He described it as a "local hole in the wall". When we arrived, the building was very small. Our expectations were not very high. You could hear what sounded like rap music playing before we opened the door. We were hesitant as this is not our jam at all. The first thing we noticed was the lack of lights. The entire place is very dim. This did not bother us in the least, just surprising. It was kinda of calming and cool . Much to our liking, there were plenty of tables to sit at and a long bar that had several people sitting and laughing! The bartender greeted us immediately as we sat at the bar. This place turned out to be epic! People from all walks of life came and went in the two hours we were there. The food oh the food- it seems everyone came for their Thanksgiving because the gentleman cooking those burgers, tuna burgers and other delightful smelling items never stopped- well, only to make eye contact in a cool sorta smooth way! Our only complaint was the music. Too much rap for our liking. Even with the younger people that came in from the lock airbase, seems everyone starting moving and tapping their feet when dance music from the 80's and 90's came on. I wished smoking wasn't allowed. But , it would not keep me from visiting this local hotspot with their fantastic crew and amazing decor! Just lessen options on the rap! Oh and cash only! read more

Hidden spot off the beaten track to say the least, but well worth finding. First off, it's a dive. It's always pretty dark inside and forewarned, smoking is allowed, so it can get a little hazy inside. Aside from that, it's pretty close to perfect. The service is exceptional, with long term employees filling the bar position with great, reasonably priced drinks and quick response. The food, quite frankly, is amazing. The burger is usually the yearly winner of "best on the Coast" and the ribeye sandwich is fantastic. The seared tuna, which is actually sushi grade, is probably the best I've had anywhere. They keep things simple, but do it very, very well. I highly recommend this spot. read more
