Well i have to say the waffle houses in Mississippi are the cleanest and their staff is the friendliest i have encountered!! Tried my first burger in a waffle house and it was delicious, not my typical food i would try there , but was craving a burger. I was the only one in their surprisingly, but it had that typical WH feel to it.but it was much cleaner .If your in Biloxi , save yourself some money from the over priced buffets and stop here... read more

My friend who had been to the South said I had to try Waffle House. I didn't have a chance in ATL, but I had no excuse this time: This location was across the street from the Beau Rivage where I stayed. I was still hungry after a small meal at a local place. I had something small here w/o starch: The Texas grilled cheese & bacon w/ chili. The meal hit the spot! The thick bread dipped well into the nicely seasoned chili. All the flavors melded together well. Waffle House's chili is right up there with Rainbow's on O'ahu, one of my fave chilis. Regarding the ambiance, its super casual. You can see the chefs and workers busy as hell serving all the hungry diners. It was packed @ 10:30 am on a Thu. I sat at the counter and the woman who waited on me was super nice and efficient. My check was small, but I gave her a 50% tip to let her know I appreciated her working hard. Waffle House is a must for me now when I am in the South. I will scout out the closest one to my hotel the next time I am in the area. read more

Line moves fairly quickly so don't be alarmed. Staff is friendly and the cooks are all working hard. Very efficient system they have going on. I ordered the Philly Steak Breakfast and a waffle on the side. My husband ordered a breakfast melt sandwich. The food was good, small portion of steak but I left full and happy. The waffle was also good. The food is consistent and better quality than other fast chain restaurants. So if you're looking for a casual, easy, affordable breakfast - this is a decent option. read more

Waffle House never dinsappoints! The coffee was hot, fresh, and just what I needed to start the day. The waffle was perfectly cooked--crispy on the outside, soft inside, and absolutely delicious. The service was friendly, fast, and attentive, making the whole experience even better. It's a comforting, classic spot that always hits the mark. I'll definitely be back for another great meal. Highly recommend for breakfast lovers! read more

Last night after the casino, we finished up pretty late so a lot of restaurants were closed which is expected. I mean it was 430 to 5 AM. I was very very happy that this waffle house serves food all day long ! That was my first time ever experiencing a waffle house even though I've been traveling to East Coast locations forever I just never had the opportunity to eat at one, so I stopped in and I grabbed myself a double burger, as well as a Texas Philly, as you can tell, I was in total big back mode and needed food so bad lol the food ended up being really really bomb. I will forever go to a waffle house for a late night munchies! read more

Waffle House is always a go to for me. First, the atmosphere is what it is. You should know what to expect before going.. whether it's the morning or the Night Shift. This is part of the Waffle House experience. Early mornings have a different group than the late night people. However, the food is still the same, and it's amazing. It's always delicious, and the customer service is as expected. Sometimes it's exceptional and others it's mediocre but it's always a good time. read more

WOW. Just wow. Top SHELF. The staff cleans house, moves massive lines swiftly. Everyone is super nice and friendly. Quick quick , get to business, get the customer on their happy way, Reset. Love it! Had the best Waffle House meal and left Satisfied. Staff is dialed in, the folks on the line were running a seminar on how things get done in a quick and efficient kitchen. AWESOME. read more

Waffle House is by far the most popular restaurant along the Gulf Coast. There are a dozen of them along Beach Blvd between here and Gulfport. Crazy, eh? This is the first one that I've ever seen on stilts. I'm guessing that this is a replacement since Hurricane Katrina, but I don't know. It's the same layout and style as every other one, other than being one level higher. There are stairs at the front and handicapped access from the back. Otherwise, it's the same WH layout, menu and service as I've seen and experienced a few dozen times around the United States. I was greeted when I came in and again when I took my seat. I knew what I wanted to I skipped the menu and ordered directly. Coffee arrived and a few minutes later, my omelet exactly as ordered. Cooked properly and filled properly, it's how it should be. No waffle for me today. [Review 14123 overall, 1445 of 2020, number 29 in Mississippi.] read more

My first time in Mississippi and my first time to the Waffle House! This 2am stop was literally the best part of our night in Biloxi. The food was great, and the service was some of the fastest I've ever seen. But the reason I gave this place 5 stars was because of the staff at this location. Everyone here made us feel at home. We had a blast laughing and talking to all the employees. When they found out that this was our first time at Waffle House- they made sure we had an amazing experience. Our waitress Belle was really sweet and friendly. She took our order quickly and she made sure we had great tunes on the jukebox. Her mom Nikki also works here. She brought us over Waffle House hats and made us feel special. The cook also stopped by our table during our meal too. We we're here about an hour and had so much fun. I will literally be telling people about our Waffle House experience for years to come. When you leave the casinos late, and need something to eat- definitely stop here. Good food, good conversation, really quick service and inexpensive food. What more could you ask for! And FYI it's open 24 hours a day, so whenever you're hungry- they're ready to feed you. read more

Ok, had to get away from the Beau Rivage for a meal. Went to the Waffle House, or should I call it the Ice House? I'm normally hot blooded and desire the temperature cool, but this place is insane. IT IS WAY TOO COLD. The waitress said that the manager keeps the controls locked up and doesn't allow them to change the temp. I recommended they call the manager and they said: "Oh no, we can't do that. She will get mad." Well, the Customer's are mad. read more

Service was fast and food was great. There was a bit of a wait, but we didn't wait more than 10 minutes. Our server was attentive and fast.

The energy of the staff makes you want to just order random items off the menu. I ordered a bacon egg and cheese sandwich with cheese grits. Babg bang my order was done in about seven minutes even with a full dining room. With 20 waffle houses in a 2 mile radius (maybe an exaggeration) this one is outstanding. read more

The is the friendliest, most efficient, and all around best Waffle House I've ever visited. The corporate office should send their execs here and have them take notes. The place was pretty packed around noon on a Saturday and they had us lined up waiting for tables but the wait wasn't more than 5 minutes. The food was Waffle House perfection (pecan waffles are the best with a side of crispy bacon) and they got my loaded up hashbrown toppings correct. Service was about the friendliest and most efficient you'll see anywhere and the "Waffle House Princess" (yes that's on her hat) will take great care of you. If you don't enjoy the Waffle House then I just can't help you. I'd be here all the time if I was a local and I'll be sure and stop here again if I'm ever back in Biloxi. read more

I'm a newbie to Waffle House. I was on a business trip and this place was walking distance from my hotel. My bf told me the food is good but don't have high expectations of anything else. I also wanted to see what all the hype over WH was about. I arrived to my table, ordered a waffle, hashbrowns and scrambled eggs. I received a set of utensils and they didn't look clean. My bf told me this may be the case. The service was as expected, diner quality with loud staff. Overall the food and service were decent. read more

Waffle House is consistent everywhere you go in, and this one is no exception. We came in at 3:30 am and had fun. It's clean here, food is always fresh. It's really a short menu so they can get it to your table fast! I get cheese and eggs most times and they make sure everything is just how I want it! This is a chain you can count on 24/7 if you want something special they will probably hook you up! read more

Such disrespect that I'm simply not used to. Your cook is so demeaning, rude, and harsh to the servers and all unnecessarily. Got here on a Friday night at 9:00 p.m. on 3/15/2024 and it took almost 30 minutes to get our food and drinks. They managed to serve 2 other groups of people that came after we did Their food and drinks before us. Not sure what was going on or a mishap on the order/ticket system. Even managed to get our drink orders wrong. Not happy with this location and crew/shift. Utterly disappointed. read more

This Waffle House location will get the very rare 5 Star review that I give to a chain restaurant. They just have a lot going for it. Keep in mind that I am a Northerner, so it was a novelty for me to come here. -- They are located right across the street from the Beau, so it is a convenient, low-priced alternative to all the very high priced and not so good restaurants in there. -- Low prices for all you get -- The workers really hustle. -- You get just a straightforward breakfast, which is sometimes exactly what you want with no frills -- Southern hospitality -- Very upbeat crowd of customers read more

Beat the club crowd here tonight, so plenty of seats available and not at all rowdy. Ordered the cheesesteak melt with extra onions... Less than 10 minutes later, I was ready to get my fatass back to the hotel. Customer service was what you'd expect in the South: sweet. But you can tell their patience probably wears a bit thin when the rowdiness reaches its peak later in the night. Clean floors and tables, which I could see was a result of the employees staying on top of it. Aaand that's about it. :-) read more

One of the best Waffle Houses! The grits, country ham(available upon request , but not on the menu) and pecan waffle were amazing. Even my over medium eggs were perfection. It's amazing to me with places like the Waffle House that the history books say the South was defeated because, ahem, they have the Waffle House so clearly they are #WINNING! On the way to my Dad's apartment from the airport we laughed because these are literally on every block in a very short radius. On the West Coast it's the equivalent of a Starbucks or McDonald's everywhere, but my inner southern boy weaps at the fact that there isn't at least one around here because they bleed what America is about and needs to get back to. However as I learned, the South is it's own lesson and something you just can't teach! I was looking forward to this for a solid month prior to my trip and while overwhelmingly taken back at the simplicity of the menu (eggs, sides, waffles, hash browns) I didn't want to make a poor decision in the end. I dove waffle iron first into the all-star special which held up to its name indeed. The scrambled eggs were fluffy and buttery, down home love indeed! The sausage patty was charred to perfection and that tickle of spice that leaves you shouting come on y'all from every section of the Gulf. Then if that's not enough, the Waffle!?! I admit afterwards I kick myself for not having the pecan waffle, but in my temporary amnesia I've found a reason to go back. Haha. The waffles though are legit contenders as I like mine a bit softer and these didn't disappoint. Drowning in syrup and butter they absorbed it in and warmed my heart all at the same time. Just a damn good down home hearty meal! The Southern charm radiates from the staff here. They are just genuine hard working people and really know how to appreciate a thank you. When told I traveled from California and blabbed for a month nonstop about it, that was met with a smile and a come and see us again soon! If I had died that day I'd have been a happy man straight up! I know it does sound silly, but this is as American as it gets. As the world progresses to dark days one shining light is the Waffle House. Kid you not I left hyper and feeling like I was draped in red, white, and blue from head to toe. If you're ever in the South and don't come here you're doing yourself and the US an extreme disservice! read more

Visited this establishment while here on business.. Waffle House is hit or miss, especially if the crew that is working is shitty! In the south, they take there WH's seriously so I was expecting a little bit better service than in Oklahoma City...I was not disappointed, and the Yelp reviews were spot on again! The crew was spot on, my waiter was very nice and friendly, greeting me with "Baby you need more coffee?" "Baby, how is your food?" "Baby, you know what you want or need more time?" It was like I was at my grandma's house! I decided to get the *Omelette with jalapeños and mushrooms, *Hash browns (which was done right! Not burned or under cooked) *Wheat toast *Waffle (cooked just right) Everything came out hot and fresh, even the coffee.. I was impressed, because it has been a while since I have had good Waffle House! While I am here, I will be back for breakfast! One annoyance was the manager was by the door telling people have a nice day and what not, but when I was leaving he just looked at me & didn't say anything.. Oh well! It reminded me of the movie DJango (Samuel L Jackson character) lol Minus the weird DJango character I'll be back for seconds! read more

This Waffle House gives you exactly what you would expect plus a little more ...bathroom was surprisingly clean and the manager had chairs lined up at the door for us to wait our turn for a table. He had us sit in the order of arrival and move down as each tables cleared. The line moved quickly and we had a booth after a short wait. Food is consistently good and greasy. I tried the hash brown bowl with a side of raisin toast and apple butter. Yum to my raisin toast and apple butter. The bowl was ok.. I liked the crispy hash browns around the edges but the meat was kinda dry and hash browns were mushy in the center. Steak sauce to the rescue. They have plenty to choose from right on your table. Coffee was hot and fresh .. Heather kept our mugs filled..Mark's order of bacon and eggs came with a waffle which we didn't realize. A nice surprise... All was good. I have returned to this location several times. read more

The waffles here are the bomb!! 5 stars for the waffle for sure. They aren't Belgian, so they aren't thick. They are packed with whichever added ingredient you choose so that every bite has some. We chose pecan and blueberry. I love the added texture from the pecan waffle, but liked the tart/sweetness from the blueberry. I should have just asked them to do blueberry pecan all in one! The biscuit was pretty yummy too, just wish it had a little more crunch on the outside. The gravy was thick and flavorful. Prices are incredible! We fed 4 people for about $25. The service is quick and it's cool how you can watch them cook the food if you sit at the counter. read more

Since I'm stuck in Mississippi for a few days, I thought I may was well hit one of the dozen or so Waffle Houses in the area. Literally there are 5 of them in a 3 mile stretch here. So we arrive for breakfast at 8am, place is packed. Granted, it only had maybe 45 seats, but it was full. I'm wondering if they have considered building a large Waffle House instead of 5 little ones? They are everywhere. I had Eggs, Sausage, Grits and toast. It was good. For the money and quickness it can't be beat. Folks I was with liked theirs as well. read more
