Arrived on a Monday for breakfast and the restaurant was pretty empty. We were hoping that was a good sign but service was a complete miss this day. We had 3 people in our party and it took a few brief moments to be seated. Once seated, we ordered our food with our server. She looked like she was struggling with the handheld device as she asked me to confirm my order again which I did. She moved on to the other individuals and got their order. Our food took a very long time. There was a table before us and a few tables after us. We were all waiting and were quite surprised at how long the wait for the food to hit the table actually was. When the food came, mine was incorrect. She wrote down a po boy for me instead of shrimp tacos. I asked her how long it would take for them to make the corrected item. She came back and replied "yes they can make you the dish". That's not what I asked. I'm well aware the restaurant can make me the right dish because that's what I had ordered, not a po boy. But I just ate it because we didn't have the time to spare given that the first round took so long. Someone in our party wanted syrup with his pancakes and since no one was coming around, he got up to ask for it. Food was overall aesthetic and tasted pretty good. When we were finished, we wanted boxes and we were again met with a wait. We ended up just getting up to get someone up front to pay our bill. Would be a great breakfast spot as they have a beautiful interior with a full bar, if they could just tighten up their staff and service.

The food is always great, but the management is lacking. Had to notate that after the last few visits.

Nice place! Was crazy busy when we were there. Waited about 30 minutes for two of us. Was definitely worth the wait! The food was delicious! The thick chick is worth getting! Highly recommend getting brunch here.

LOVED this spot for breakfast! We stopped on a roadtrip for an early breakfast. They opened right at 7am. Jade greeted us and was super friendly throughout our entire time there! She's a gem! She was personal and attentive and managed the whole front of house by herself, and she made it look so seamless. The food was great--early bird specials were a great price and still had a good amount of food. I had the classic breakfast special and mimosa flight. The other person got the $5 coffee + beignet special and breakfast tacos. The grits were so savory and had a few corn pieces in it; the breakfast tacos were great! The taco shell was like a crispy wonton and the breakfast potatoes/hash browns were seasoned to perfection. It's located in a little strip mall. The interior is clean and decorated nicely. The dining chairs are super comfortable. Cozy atmosphere. I wish this place was a bit closer to home, because it would be a regular breakfast place if it was.

Amazing brunch place! The service was amazing and the food was fantastic. We got the beignets and the southerner, and they were truly so delicious. They made us feel right at home and made our morning! Definitely would stop by again!

We dined on a Saturday morning around 8am! When we came in, we were immediately greeted and seated. Our waitress Jade was very nice and made sure to explain the menu to us since it was our first visit. We got the banana foster French toast with a side of chicken, the breakfast burger and the pancake breakfast with a side of eggs and bacon! The pancakes were thick and huge which Jade explained to us! She was not joking when she said they were big! My son couldn't finish it all! The burger was so good! I love a good runny egg on a burger! My husband finished his banana foster and left the plate clean! Oddly he asked for bbq sauce for his chicken but they didn't have any. Overall, the visit was a good one! Jade was a great waitress. Would def visit again!

I felt like I was walking into a good friend's kitchen. Smiles abound when my party walked in. we were taking it to go and immediately regretted it because of the atmosphere. I was focused on my meal and forgot to get photos of my lunch companions, but that pancake is huge! I was ready to eat, driving back to work as the smells were hitting the senses, but I got a call to stop for a meeting. 25 minutes later (I was clock watching because I was hungry). I got back to my desk, and the meal was still amazing. My burger was medium well as I asked. I will be patronizing again. Special thank you to Amber, Brittany, and Carie.

Four stars instead of five because of the service. Food was amazing. Everything looked and tasted magnificent. I had the shrimp poboy, and it was bigger than I expected. The shrimp poboy is a good price for the amount of food. I've had smaller, less filling poboys for about the same price. The aioli sets it over the top. As for the service, maybe that and the wait for food will be better for smaller parties. We were a table of seven. Other restaurants can handle us with ease. The food took quite a while, even when we placed an order for beignets as appetizer. We got the feeling that perhaps she forgot to put in the order. We got the original ones that came with strawberry marmalade, they were alright. Perhaps the specialty beignets like the bananas foster would have made more of an impact. I will come here again in the future with less people.

You need a password to get in (which you find on their Instagram or Facebook), and that alone makes it feel fun and exclusive. It's located on the bottom level of the apartment complex on the right side near the main road, there is an electric ring type doorbell you press and someone opens the window for the password. Then the door is opened. The space is beautiful and stylish with a cozy, upscale feel. There is also a sign posted for appropriate attire required, which adds to the classy atmosphere and helps keep the vibe elegant. Building parking is located on the south side and towards the second apartment building. You can make a reservation on their website if you want, but they did mention that their reservation system can be a little unreliable at times. I had a reservation and they were still able to get me in with no problem, but it didn't seem like they saw or recognized the reservation when I arrived. They only serve tapas and small plates, which is perfect for light snacking while you enjoy drinks. The cocktails were really good, fairly priced, and the service was friendly and relaxed. The bathroom was clean, but it is shared (not separated by gender). There is one bathroom inside the bar and an additional one located outside the main bar door in a different location. One small suggestion would be the lighting. It was very bright inside, and a darker environment would really help set a better mood and tone to match the speakeasy vibe. Overall, this is a great place if you're looking for a calm, stylish spot with good drinks, decent prices, and a more mature crowd. It's perfect for a quiet date night or just a laid-back evening out.

We were looking forward to trying it out given all the accolades it has received from a Michelin mention a top 25 new restaurants in Esquire. We left scratching our heads as to how so much praise was given. The ambiance is nice, great bar which is most of the seating good bartenders. The food was much less impressive I started with the steak tartar it was supposed to have a duck egg yolk but it was a cured chicken egg that dint break and it had a strong hot mustard which killed all the flavor. Then I had 2 oysters nothing special. I then had the French onion soup burger. It was way overcooked and the sautéed ions were burnt. Would not order again. They offer caviar stuffed olives don't bother the olives blow out the caviar flavor. My wife had the duck liver moose. It had an orange back flavor that was sweet. Not nice then they split the raviolis but said it tasted good but too all-dente. It's a good spot for drinks an appetizer but we would not go back for dinner.

I'm searching Yelp, and don't quite find a clear front runner. So, I change my search to "cocktail bar" and Butler's pops up. I didn't quite trust it as there are plenty of bars in the area between Ocean Springs and D'Iberville, but I wanted an extensive bourbon and whiskey selection for the hubs, no crap! I checked out the photos and zeroed in. Upon arrival, I was completely shocked to find out that it's inside a casino resort. I missed that in my search. It's hidden in plain sight! First and foremost, who knew there were sprawling casinos situated behind residential neighborhoods in Mississippi?! Wow! -- I digress. We committed and we went for it. I'm so glad we did! We were immediately greeted by Josh, bartender extraordinaire, and the rest is history. Remember that extensive bourbon and whiskey selection we were looking for? ... FOUND IT! Butler's literally has it all, and Josh is the perfect handler! He's knowledgeable about the different brands, aging processes, and truly proved himself to be an expert in the field. Aside from the bar, Josh suggested that we sign up for rewards (which we did) and try the food (which we did as well). Overall, he's a team player and made us feel at home. We initially planned to stop in for drink or two, and ended up playing a few slots, and staying for dinner. All in all, our introductory trip to Butler's definitely won us over, and we'll be back soon!
