I've been to Michael Patrick's before but never during a big sporting event. My friend and I decided to come here to watch the Super Bowl. There was no wait when we arrived and we were promptly seated. We always sit in the back by the windows where we also have great views of several TV's. Tony greeted us shortly after. We ordered our appetizers and food but opted for frozen daiquiris from Bubba Gump downstairs. When we returned, our food came out right after. We always order the fried pickles from here, they're cooked perfectly and sooo delicious! My friend got bbq wings and loved them so much that she took the side of bbq sauce home. I had been craving hot wings and these wings did not disappoint! They were so juicy, not salty but just the right amount of flavor and kick! We also shared a side of fries and they were so good, fresh and crispy! I ordered carrot cake for dessert and while it was delicious, the icing was very sweet! We are not complainers, from the serving industry and now active duty I understand overworked and overpaid* The service was the worst I ever experienced, we waited in line at the LAST 30 minutes without being attended to. We had 2 servers walk past apologizing for the wait but they were cut for the night while the dining room was less than half full but the other half of the tables needed cleared and cleaned. Finally we were seated,we had to ask for a server once seated after waiting 15-20 minutes. She was annoyed we ordered drinks and food at the same time after waiting so long. We were not tended to again by her until it came time to pay. There was ONE server doing an amazing job-DRAKE. He realized we were still waiting, went to the kitchen and immediately came out with our food. He got everything we needed. We realized he was going around fixing every tables issues (literally every table occupied). That man deserves a raise and a promotion. The kitchen was also fantastic the food was amazing but not worth the horrible experience and price combined. Our original server returned during our meal to explain she forgot we were in her section. She was quick once it was time to get us out, pay and receive a tip. We didn't even deal with using our comps we just paid and left asap. We returned later to thank Drake and tip him directly since we didn't have cash on us prior. If you have read my previous reviews you will know I am not a fan of grits... I decided to give it another try since I was in the "South" and I figured this is the place where folks know how to cook grits.. The sandwich was pretty good.. came out made to order hot and fresh... The croissant was indeed "buttery" and the egg had some girth to it as well! The sandwich was overall satisfying. On to the grits.. As previously stated, I'm not a fan of grits but when I tried these to my surprise were pretty good! They were seasoned nicely with good flavor.. Also, it seemed fresh and hot! When you walk into the The Golden Nugget via parking garage you'll find this restaurant in the corner before entering the casino. We arrived early afternoon so the place was not busy. This is a sports bar and cafe feel. The front has a bar, tables and booths with surrounding TVs to watch your favorite sports. At the back overlooking the Gulf is the dining area, the back area does feel dated. Jeff was our server and was very nice. I had the grilled chicken salad that was fresh and did not skimp on the ingredients especially the chicken and pecans. My husband had cup of gumbo (huge cup!) and a BLT with fries. The sandwich was thick with plenty of bacon. This is a great place to watch your favorite sports game. I felt it was pricey for lunch at $46.00 but we did both have a Bloody Mary. This is a very good and reasonably price placed to eat at for being inside a casino. The portion size and prices are excellent. I normally get the Buffalo chicken sandwich with bacon. It is one the largest chicken sandwiches I ever had at a place. It's also at a great price point for the size of it and comes with a side. Not only is it huge, it is excellent tasting. The only reason I didn't give this place 5 stars is on football game day, it can be a little unorganized. However on non-football days this place is a very good choice. read more

The dining room looked pretty good but for some reason it was open for breakfast an hour later than what they call the grill area. I had a food voucher so I needed to use it up so I ate at this gloomy Grill. It was really hard trying to eat a large breakfast with plastic fork and knife.. one little cheap paper napkin was all I got. Food was average at best. No refills offered in coffee. To make matters worse cashier said I had to use entire voucher at one time. That made no sense but rewards desk was not open so I could not ask them. So I added on a orange juice and a apple fritter which I really did not want. Way too much to eat. One of the first times I have not finished breakfast in a restaurant. This had to be the worse place we visited while staying in Biloxi. We came to watch the college World Series and decided to grab a bite to eat. The place wasn't pack so we got a table quickly. However the service was horrible. The waitress was training someone and she never let anyone at the tables know she was training a waiter, so there was this guy following her around seemingly in the way of her doing her job. We ordered our drinks from the bar and they just sat and watered down before she got them to our table. We had some speciality drinks so my guess they added more vodka when they saw they were still sitting there. when I got my drink it was so strong I would have had to call Uber to take me to my room had a drank the entire glass. Food came out cold and was very overpriced. $80 for one round of drinks and bar food. A bit much. I do not have an issue paying for good food and service but this was neither.
