10/15/2025 My wife and i entered Denny's about 9am, and we were greeded by Lisa with a warm smile and directed us to our table, she was the lone ranger, the only waitess, she took our order immediately, as others walked in she tended to them with a smile, she was multitasking, we were so impressed at how she handled so many customers, shes a keeper P.s., i left my cell phone there by mistake, i left and was on my way to Arizona and realized that i had left it behind , as i returned, Lisa had put it away and returned it to me....such honesty is priceless...don't lose her... read more

Waitress was combative, sarcastic and rude. No coffee available, which was kinda half of why I came to dennys. Charged extra for eggs, which is actually understandable. Seats are pretty old and worn. Pancakes were good, though. read more

Service was great, the food was so so, but the restaurant didn't feel clean. I wouldn't eat here again.

To say I felt so incredibly uncomfortable is an understatement. When we arrived we were seated by Maranda. Upon bringing us to our table she immediately asked what we were drinking today. Mind you we had not even had a chance to look at the menu. She seemed very rushed. The restrooms had no toilet linens and the restaurant had many flies. Although the cleanliness of the restaurant could be overseen, Maranda's attitude could not and it ruined our meal and time. Before we had even finished eating she came over to our table and literally tossed our receipt. My mother was very upset about the service we received and wanted to speak up. We understand when waitresses are busy but we definitely do not and will never understand the need for someone to be rude. These ought to be the worst $70 spent on a meal. read more

I want to commend all the staff at this Denny's but particularly one. The only waitress (also performing hostess and cashier duties this particular evening) was gracious and polite to every customer, despite those coming inside without wearing face masks (notices posted on all doors saying they are required in NM) and to another person coming in to complain part of her order had been left out (actually had not, were in take-out box), and with people waiting to be seated and also wanting to checkout, she took the time to check with kitchen first, then to let the customer know to lift insert out of box to find them, and she did so in a patient and kind way too. Thank you waitress/cashier/hostess of the evening! You made my night with your kindness, and I'll be sure to look first next time read more

Horrible management but my server was great. Waited nearly 10 minutes to be seated because the Manager was running around with their head cut off and there was only 3 tables. Another customer in the lobby said they waited 30 minutes on hold for a to go order. I said thats why the phone was busy. Finally the waitress said Ill seat you. I stopped here late in the evening. I was tired from driving. Got a friendly greeting and was seated. I ordered the Salmon Dinner with two sides, vegetable medley and corn. WOW...dinner was great. Wow...we like Denny's as the food is consistent from location to location. On a long road trip, that's golden. We walked into this Denny's for dinner last night. We stood waiting 10 minutes without even being acknowledged. Not sure why because we only saw one family seated and being served. One wait staff and presumably the hostess walked right by us, but we were ghosts to them. We left. Suggest you stay clear of this location until their mgmt gets their act together. read more

I went in with low expectations and they were exceeded. We stayed in Grants overnight on a road trip and ate here for dinner when it was our only option besides Taco Bell drive through. It was surprisingly good - not the blah Denny's we are accustomed to at home. AMAZING service, friendly staff and very clean. When our hotel's complimentary breakfast buffet was out of juice and pancakes, it was an easy decision to return to Denny's for breakfast. I placed a Togo order which was really convenient which I why I am giving at least ONE star! There was no hostess to greet at the front desk. Several waiters and servers passed us by with not a word. I had to ask for our order after waiting almost 10 minutes to be acknowledged. Not acceptable. I also witnessed several servers touching food that was being served with their bare hands. That is not okay! We're passing through town so I am glad this isn't a local Denny's. read more

I could try to give them the benefit of the doubt and say they were busy and understaffed, but the wasn't the case. The place wasn't even half full and there were 3 wait staff plus the manager. I literally stood at the front desk for 5 minutes before I was even acknowledged. Finally, the manager seated me. In her defense, she seemed overworked and like the only person who have a damn. Another 5 minutes passed before my drink order was taken, again, by the manager. 15 minutes later my waitress takes my order. I got pancakes. It took 20 minutes to come and when it did there were burnt bits all over as is they don't clean the grill. I just pushed them aside and ate my pancakes, which were at least good. I sat for 10 minutes with my empty plate and cup in front of me until, who else, the manager asked me if I needed anything. My waitress never once came by to ask if I needed anything. If this place is decent it is only because of the manager. She is doing the best she can with what I suspect is an incompetent waitstaff.
