We had to try the famous Laguna Burger! It's so good! Super fresh! No kidding! This is one of the…read morebest burgers I've ever had. It's not dry the meat is juicy and well seasoned, with fresh tomatoes, lettuce, and onion. And that green chile? Wow! Fresh cut fries are always the best, too. The restaurant is connected to the Route 66 pit stop. It was cool to learn the history of the place, they have old photos hanging up. My only suggestion is they could use a little sweeping and wiping down the tables and chairs. Other than that, I highly recommend this restaurant! Try their burgers, you won't be disappointed!

Stopped here because of the good reviews, left disappointed. Ordered 3 burgers (2 meals and 1…read moreburger alone) that came to almost $45. We were told it would take 15 min, but after 30 min had passed we had to ask about our order as a larger group that ordered after us received their order before we did. I then watched this happen to others waiting for their food. The burger meat was greasy, but good. Condiments were poor quality and detracted from the overall flavor. Fries were fine, similar to in n out style. All the ketchup bottles on the tables were empty, tables had not been wiped, and it seemed like the staff spent more time staring at the customers waiting for their food than actually preparing the meals efficiently.

So much food! Every local we spoke to, even hotel staff said…read moreto go to Jerry's for breakfast. The service was outstanding and the restaurant was eclectic and old but very clean. I asked the waitress which was smaller the sopaipilla or the breakfast burrito? She said the sopaipilla. Holy moly. It was stuffed with thick bacon, hash browns, eggs and smothered in red and green salsa (they call it Christmas salsa). I ended up opening it and eating the inside because it was seriously enough for 2 people. Hubs had the Eye Opener. Two eggs, Christmas salsa, hash browns and bean, served with sopaipilla. He barely finished. The coffee was so good! Best place for breakfast in Gallup.

Of course I found it through my fellow yelpers…read more I was looking for fry bread and this place popped up Decided to come because it has good reviews. Saw a guy eating a sopapilla outside said it was good and there were several people outside waiting so we were like ok it's gonna be good. Ordered the Sopapilia covered in red sauce because it was a popular choice. Sadly, I was disappointed. I think it would have been good by itself no sauce. Just a sopapilla by itself. In sauce was too much. The red sauce did not taste homemade. If it is I'm sorry but it just wasn't my cup of tea. The kids drummettes were fried and tasty. Other than that it was just another diner. We did meet others who said they frequent but knowing true Mexican food, it's a no go for me. Service was ok. Ambiance Diner feel. We met a guy who said there was a cafe town the road that he preferred I don't remember the name but at least I know I'm not the only one who did not enjoy it. He was also from Cali so there you go. Sorry to disappoint. Good luck finding good eats. SYOY
