When you are heading to Nevada and two of f your girls want their Blake's Breakfast Burrito fix this is the perfect stop! It easy to get off the interstate and cruise through Grants pick up your order. You cruise a little more through more of Grants and back in the road. If I had been smart about it I would have called it in. They were too busy so my wait was short. I ate mine on the road and it was perfectly wrapped, which made it easy ti handle. I was thrilled that it was made to my request. The burritos arrived in Vegas in tact and well received. The staff was friendly and ready to service their guest. The location was very clean and well kept.

Dare I say, better than Whataburger?! Apparently the location in Milan is one of the best in the 505! The peach shake was to die for~

I had the Lotaburger with green chili and cheese combo with fries. It took 15 minutes to get my order at 10:14 am. My fries were a little limp. Is it to much to ask to get hot and crispy fries? This is the most common problem I run into at burger joints. The burger was just average. The green chili gave a little kick which I like. I definitely will look elsewhere for a green chili cheeseburger. My brother tried it here and told me I should stop so did.

While were eating in Santa Fe, NM, we got to talking to one of the locals at the restaurant. He noticed my hubby's In-N-Out shirt and said that he tried when he was out in So Cal. He then states that they were good burgers but Blake's LOTABURGER are much better. More his type of hamburger. Said that WHATABURGER was more like In-n-Out. So we decided before we left New Mexico we would try it. They are ONLY in NM mind you. We got a double burger. We shared it. It was great. Just the way Jebus intended a burger to be.

Burger and fries were really good! Staff members were just ok. Could be cleaner but really not bad.

Came back for lunch on another trip and was happy I stopped. Our server recommended the chile…read morerelleno and the tamales, but we wanted to try a variety of items, so we added the combo plate. In retrospect, we should have listened to her, because the tamales and the relleno were our favorites! The tamales were so fluffy and packed with meat, and the relleno was perfect. The taco was good, but nothing special. The enchiladas were good. The chimichanga was a little too doughy for me. Overall, a good value, good service, good food, and worth a stop.

I didn't care too much for the salsa. I found myself putting a lot of salt to drown the sweetness. I was hoping to order something big to have leftovers for the week. I ordered the combo plate and substituted a relleno for the chimichanga. I got half green and half red salsa on the relleno. I had been craving a relleno for weeks and was hoping it was going to be good. The taco shells are not fried. They are headed in the grill until they get crispy, which I like because that's how I do it at home. I didn't care for the flavor of the ground beef but overall it was ok. The enchilada and relleno both came with the bandera sauce (I think that's what it was called) mix of red and green sauce. I was hoping it was only going to be in the relleno . I didn't care for either sauce and tried to eat around it. The green sauce was a bit too spicy which drowned the flavor of everything else. I didn't try the beans or a sopapilla. Now, the rice. I'm not sure what to think. It looked like a Chef Boyardee canned pasta product and tasted like pasta sauce. I could not eat it. We all felt the same about the rice and the green sauce. Most of us enjoyed what we ordered. My colleagues ordered desert and they all loved it.

A Dairy Queen, gift store, fireworks store and gas station. I had a chili cheese dog meal with medium fries and a drink. I wanted a small chocolate shake and the server offered to substitute my drink for that which I appreciated. He had a quarter pound cheeseburger meal with cheese curds. The food was average. Not all the cheese was melted on my chili dog and the dog itself tasted like it had been sitting there for a while. The restrooms in the store were not bad considering the amount of traffic it seemed to have. There were lots of cool metal decor and signage in the gift area. And unique items I haven't seen before. American Indian attire, souvenir tshirts, moccasins and other Knick knacks. There was a convenience store for snacks and drinks as well. And three packed shelving units of fireworks. Something for everyone. The service was polite and the store clean. The DQ area could have been cleaner but it appeared as if they couldn't keep up even with the many people working behind the counter. Some customers were angry that the Coke dispenser had no coke syrup mixed in. But for us it was a nice break at an interesting store.
