    Drive through
    Shauna P.

I would give zero stars if I could. This spot has some construction going on and the drive though line was very long at 3 in the afternoon on a Wednesday. Both drive though menus had a nuggets and fries for 2 bundle - 20 nuggets and a basket of fries - for $8.99. However they said that wasn't available but I could order 20 nuggets and a large fry for $10+ dollars. I asked for ranch but they rang up BBQ then had an attitude when I asked for the ranch. The cashier was talking to another employee the whole time and barely mumbled the charge amount before quickly swiping my credit card and going back to her conversation. They second window only handed me 2 packets so I had to ask for more and they managed to give me another 2 packets. If you want McDonald's I definitely recommend finding a different one.

Good McDonalds. Clean dining room. Fast friendly service. Convenient parking. Only place in town to find coffee on a Thursday morning.

Very friendly, clean and good food. Not many good choices for a quick meal in Grants, but Mickey Dees came through as usual.

This is the slowest McDonald's in the country! Line so long you'd think they'd have to pump out super hot fries consistently. Nope.

For parents traveling: this location does not have a play place. Other than that, great service and clean restaurant.

Tucked away near downtown Grants Former Tiendita front I saw that it's now Gabby's Caf Breakfast was my want. River Park across the street early in the day had geese and ducks and walking dogs they wanted me to stay. Gabby's called I could not wait and so I walked away. "Your early sir." said smiling Tam, "The cook is on his way." "Restroom please." "It's down the hall and to the left. waiting for your stay." Music Country, art the same - it's rural N.M. here my friend, horses, cows and lambs. Star of The West brought the list. She shined her light, she spoke her words she made my morning bright. What rhymes with Huevos Rancheros? Farmer Brothers coffee and a tall cold glass of H2O. The beans were swell, the eggs were fine, green chile sauce was gentle on my mind. And into prose I wind. Gabby's Cafe is the in-town Mom of Gabby's Diner in Milan. You can get dinner there if you're on time. Gabby's Cafe has a marvelous pine floor, callung out for Saturday night music and dancing.

I didn't get her name, but she was just the nicest person ever! The reviews raved about the burgers so we decided to try them. My husband had the double cheeseburger, and I tried the Bourbon Feta and grilled onion burger. First, they used quality beef, hand-formed snd smashed, so I love the texture of the patties and the way they were cooked. Buns were buttered and toasted on the grill lightly. Fries were decent. The only downside was that I could not taste the bourbon on my burger, but the feta and onions were on point. We also tried the strawberry lemonade - perfect - not too sweet. It was nice to watch the service team interact, and how they hustled. They do a lively to-go business as well. Great place to stay.

We saw it from the freeway and had plenty of time to change langes and exit. It is located just off the freeway with easy access both getting on and off the exit and had reasonably priced Shell branded gasoline, cue checking off list item #1. The restrooms were clean, check off list item #r2. There was a Subway Sandwich store inside the same building as the convenience store, but it was too soon after breakfast and too far away from lunch for us to want to take advantage of it, but there was a good selection of drinks in the refrigerated case and the fountain offered both Diet Pepsi and Diet Dr Pepper, so Tyoni and I had no trouble finding drinks to help us survive the next leg of the drive, check off list item #3. I wandered around a room filled with Native American themed items for sale and kept myself entertained while Tyoni picked out a Sudoku book to keep herself entertained. It was Ron's turn to drive, so we checked the last item off our list and hopped back into the car to resume our journey

We had made reservations for 2 nights at El Morro, confirmed by an e-mail, and stating that we would receive an e-mail AND a text with the the code to our cabin several days before our arrival. We received NOTHING!! Attempts to reach anyone that could confirm that we had a place to stay by phone on the day of our arrival were fruitless. It took over an hour to finally receive a call from the owner. By That time we had made other plans, as the drive to El Morro without a confirmation that we had a place to stay was just too big of a risk. El Morro's failure to follow through on our reservation as they said that they would, along with the total inability to contact someone at the site that had a clue as to what was going on caused us to miss spending time with friends that we had not seen in over 30 years. There is nothing that can be done to replace that.....
