Cute lil shop with plenty of snacks. They had the milkshakes you make right there with the machine.

Came back for lunch on another trip and was happy I stopped. Our server recommended the chile…read morerelleno and the tamales, but we wanted to try a variety of items, so we added the combo plate. In retrospect, we should have listened to her, because the tamales and the relleno were our favorites! The tamales were so fluffy and packed with meat, and the relleno was perfect. The taco was good, but nothing special. The enchiladas were good. The chimichanga was a little too doughy for me. Overall, a good value, good service, good food, and worth a stop.

Four of us dined today. Nice little place. Staff were super friendly. Chips and salsa were not…read morefree. I got an order and the salsa was a bit spicy with a little sweetness. I didn't care too much for the salsa. I found myself putting a lot of salt to drown the sweetness. I was hoping to order something big to have leftovers for the week. I ordered the combo plate and substituted a relleno for the chimichanga. I got half green and half red salsa on the relleno. I had been craving a relleno for weeks and was hoping it was going to be good. The taco shells are not fried. They are headed in the grill until they get crispy, which I like because that's how I do it at home. I didn't care for the flavor of the ground beef but overall it was ok. The enchilada and relleno both came with the bandera sauce (I think that's what it was called) mix of red and green sauce. I was hoping it was only going to be in the relleno . I didn't care for either sauce and tried to eat around it. The green sauce was a bit too spicy which drowned the flavor of everything else. I didn't try the beans or a sopapilla. Now, the rice. I'm not sure what to think. It looked like a Chef Boyardee canned pasta product and tasted like pasta sauce. I could not eat it. We all felt the same about the rice and the green sauce. Most of us enjoyed what we ordered. My colleagues ordered desert and they all loved it.

It was time for lunch and a break so when he saw the multitude of signage for this place he decided…read morewe should stop. It was a cool multi-store. A Dairy Queen, gift store, fireworks store and gas station. I had a chili cheese dog meal with medium fries and a drink. I wanted a small chocolate shake and the server offered to substitute my drink for that which I appreciated. He had a quarter pound cheeseburger meal with cheese curds. The food was average. Not all the cheese was melted on my chili dog and the dog itself tasted like it had been sitting there for a while. The restrooms in the store were not bad considering the amount of traffic it seemed to have. There were lots of cool metal decor and signage in the gift area. And unique items I haven't seen before. American Indian attire, souvenir tshirts, moccasins and other Knick knacks. There was a convenience store for snacks and drinks as well. And three packed shelving units of fireworks. Something for everyone. The service was polite and the store clean. The DQ area could have been cleaner but it appeared as if they couldn't keep up even with the many people working behind the counter. Some customers were angry that the Coke dispenser had no coke syrup mixed in. But for us it was a nice break at an interesting store.
