Green chile quesadilla with guacamole and sour cream

WOW!!! We were just driving though on a road trip and found this on Yelp. Thank God! What incredible food!! We got the stuffed sopapilla and green chile quesadilla. The price was reasonable and the taste was amazing! Even my 3yr old ate happily without a fight. It's inside a gas station, but don't let humble exterior dissuade you. It's absolutely worth the stop.

    Menu on 12/1/24

Recent menu as of December 2024. Good food, expect to wait as always. Easy stop when passing through.

Outdoor patio was a great spot for a dinner break with the pups!

Love stopping here. They make the best chicharron burrito. Try the number one next time you go through Cuba, NM.

For a run down building this place was clean friendly and food was yummy. Navajo tacos were great and there asada tacos were flavorful.

10/10! Stopped by on our way through town and the food was fantastic. I'd recommend the plate, decent amount of food for cheap.

The warm sopapillas with honey are the best. We received fast and friendly service with good food and very reasonable prices.

April 10, 2026. Friday. Lunch…read more A co-worker and I stopped here for lunch after working in the nearby forest. It was around 2 PM so it seemed more like a linner. We were famished and he raved that this joint had recently won the best GCCB contest at the State Fair. Reviews said service could be very slow here. When we strode in, the place had absolutely no light. I could barely make out the taxidermy buck deer over our table. Waitress told us the electricity had gone out about ten minutes before we arrived. It took her about ten more minutes to take our order. We sat in the dark, but used my friend's cell phone to light up the menus. I ordered a Western Burger with french fries for $18. My friend bought me lunch since he had lost a March Madness bracket pick to me. The Western burger came with cheddar, bacon, onion rings and bbq sauce. This burger came stacked high with crispy bacon and thick onion rings. They had crispy fries and the meal filled me up and tasted very good. We probably waited thirty minutes for our food and ate it in the dark. I would say my burger was 8/10 and fries were 9/10. The service quite slow and the darkness uncontrolled by the staff. They powered through and probably cooked our burger on a gas stove.

Taxidermy on the walls, wooden floors, open fireplace the place screams 'Wild West mountain saloon.' We all ordered our beer favorites. 2 of us got the Los Ojos Special, an open face 1/2 lb burger smothered in green, red or Christmas, One had the wings and 1 had the Famous Jemez not on the menu but a 1/2 lb burger smothered in cheese and black olives. If you're ever traveling through the Jemez Mountains, the Los Ojos Saloon is a must see and experience.

The service was amazing -- attentive, friendly, and genuinely fun. Cyd is the best and made the whole experience feel welcoming and relaxed from start to finish. The ambiance is cozy with a great mix of bar seating, high top tables, and booths, plus the decorative indoor lights give it a laid-back atmosphere that's perfect for hanging out with friends or winding down after work. There were 10 tables occupied around 1:00 and all but 3 tables were eating their food, but we still waited 25 minutes to order after we got our drinks. I had to ask the young man hosting to find our appetizer and waitress after 20 minutes. 3 of us had fries with our entrees and they were soggy, greasy, and so salty that none of us ate them. Our son who loves cheeseburgers said his tasted funny, our daughters chicken nuggets tasted like the fish my wife ordered, and my Rueben was dry and chewy because the meat was reheated on a flattop instead of steamed like it should be. No one in the kitchen seems to have a clue how things should be done in a restaurant. I could go on, but what's the point. The only thing I'll remember about this place was bad food and the $100 we threw in the garbage. If I had the chance to have a redo, I'd go down the street and eat at Sonic, and Sonic sucks.
