    Menu on 12/1/24

Recent menu as of December 2024. Good food, expect to wait as always. Easy stop when passing through.

Outdoor patio was a great spot for a dinner break with the pups!

Loved the Navajo Tacos here! The green chili sauce had just the right amount of heat. One little gal cooks the food as you order it.

Spicy! Fresh! Tell them what you want and they cook it right then and there while you wait! Pretty awesome for a gas station!

Great food! Nice patio. It was the perfect rest stop for us traveling with our dogs. They enjoyed the patio while we enjoyed the food.

Do not go by looks - step inside and order. My partner got the enchiladas and I tried the Navajo tacos. Both were winners in our book.

Amazing food and very friendly owners. Another great example of why it is always a good idea to eat at a family-owned, local restaurant

I'll list what we had because it was all VERY good:…read moreAsparagus Fries (pro tip: Don't let people use the wasabi dip, then put it on your burger) Beef burger with cheddar, bacon, and avocado Chicken tenders for kids (get a double order so you can steal some) Green chile stew (with steak in it) Bacon wrapped filet mignon (one of the daily specials) We had a great waitress, chill vibes, nice clean place, fantastic Christmas tree in the middle. Steak and burger were cooked perfectly. Can't wait to go again, the whole menu looked bomb.

We were seated within 5 minutes, because they had a 2-top available. It seems that everyone else had large parties. Our waiter was friendly, and quick. We made sure to order as soon as he came to the table so that we weren't holding on to the table longer than necessary on a busy night. My partner ordered the filet mignon special. I believe it was wrapped in bacon with a lobster béarnaise sauce. Sides were potatoes and broccoli. He devoured it. I ordered the salmon special. it came with a side of Mashed potatoes and broccolini. Everything was delicious! The restaurant was packed, but tables were spaced out so that you were not sitting on top of each other. Lots of windows. great atmosphere. We also ordered bread to begin with. the bread was small but tasty. I definitely recommend this fantastic restaurant in Los Alamos. This was my first time in Los Alamos and I was happy to find such a good restaurant.

Our journey was the day after Thanksgiving so we had the bonus of holiday decorations. Many nutcrackers to see. If you live fun decor this is a bucket list for sure. We had nachos, green chile burger, green chile stew. And the open face Los ojos burger. We arrived and got a table pretty fast. It is seat yourself they were pretty busy. We found a table that had some cups but we decide to help them bus the table. Then we went to order drinks since we the servers were busy. A local at the bar said good luck getting a drink, anytime soon. Good advice but he still was here and probably comes often despite the bartender being busy. The waitress we had said they were busy and to be patient. She apologized 2-3 times. She said it was best to order drinks from the table. So I recommend just ordering drinks with your food. The Bar and Restaurant are separate entities. The bartender stopped over to check on one of drinks she was making as they didn't have any more cucumber for the cucumber smash. That was nice of her. The drinks arrived 1 by one. The food was the same. The best part the food was all good, everyone ate almost everything. The nachos don't come with guacamole or sour cream. But you add for at airport and upgrade for extra $. We had a fun lunch. Allow 15-20 minutes to pay your bill. A local couple next to us said it was like watching paint dry to get your check. That was accurate. Be patient and have fun. We will come back and try to sit at the bar. Recommended 3.5 star plus 1/2 star for decor and ambiance. 4 stars total plus they had Wi-Fi Thanks for a good meal and a fun time.

April 10, 2026. Friday. Lunch…read more A co-worker and I stopped here for lunch after working in the nearby forest. It was around 2 PM so it seemed more like a linner. We were famished and he raved that this joint had recently won the best GCCB contest at the State Fair. Reviews said service could be very slow here. When we strode in, the place had absolutely no light. I could barely make out the taxidermy buck deer over our table. Waitress told us the electricity had gone out about ten minutes before we arrived. It took her about ten more minutes to take our order. We sat in the dark, but used my friend's cell phone to light up the menus. I ordered a Western Burger with french fries for $18. My friend bought me lunch since he had lost a March Madness bracket pick to me. The Western burger came with cheddar, bacon, onion rings and bbq sauce. This burger came stacked high with crispy bacon and thick onion rings. They had crispy fries and the meal filled me up and tasted very good. We probably waited thirty minutes for our food and ate it in the dark. I would say my burger was 8/10 and fries were 9/10. The service quite slow and the darkness uncontrolled by the staff. They powered through and probably cooked our burger on a gas stove.
