I & my wife were there this evening, Denny's - Flyin J T/S Franklin, KY. Place really sucked.There appeared to be 3 people working in restaurant that I could see, ALL were pretty well disinterested in doing their job. It took 1hr &20 min to get our food & that was with only 5 other customers in the whole restaurant & 2 walked out before their meal arrived. Apparently the ONLY reason we got our meal when we did is I told the lady we were leaving & our meal magically appeared. Cold & very small portions & half cooked. I hate to be this person but I'm going to be them today . I went to this location and it's part of a truck stop . Usually truck stop food is really good , hot with great service . First off when you walk into the Dennys it's dirty and dingy. The person greeting was awkward with horrible customer service . Me and my girl sat down and she referred to us as 'boy' and 'girl' . It took a good 15 minutes until the food was served . Which is cool because I want my food hot and ready not cold and reheated in a microwave . Dennys is a diner but anyways... she ordered the breakfast slam with French toast and I ordered the Sante fe sizzlin skillet with pancakes on the side . They brought us water and there was particles floating in the cup . The cup was also dirty like it was improperly washed or not washed at all. We unwrapped our silverware and it was dirty as well like they were improperly washed . The breakfast slam and Sante fe skillet were hot but the French toast and pancakes were cold . When I'm paying $12-$15 a plate and include gratuity I suggest my food to be piping hot . The waiter kept asking us to leave a review that's how you know the place was sh*tty . Coming from the west coast Dennys is the go to spot but save your time unless you're dying of hunger . Waffle House or Cracker Barell is the way to go down here forsure !!!! read more

If I could give zero stars I would. Awful service from the one waitress on the night shift around 12:30am. Ordered my food came out fast, my sausage links were old and burnt I asked if I could have more sausage links she goes to tell me 15 minutes for 4 sausage links because they need to cook in the oven and I have to wait till the chicken is done being cooked. So now I have the remaining of my meal at the table with no breakfast meat! Not cool. She goes to help someone else and tells me she is going to check on the links, walks back out and says nothing to me, I had to ask her myself and she goes to the back I hear her and the cook laughing and talking loud about me. Absolutely terrible. One waitress for the whole restaurant. Wait time to be seated about an hour. With no line. They take to go orders first, then cook and serve them. That includes online orders. A lot of drivers picking up the orders while 3 people in line had been waiting for an hour just to be seated. Food is served cold. Management is... ? Is this restaurant is managed at all? Found a hair in my food when I was nearly finished. Pretty sure it came with one egg instead of two. Ordered the food at 1:30 am. Didn't call to complain because why? It's a lesson learned. At this time, it's extremely difficult at best to get in and if you're lucky enough to catch them during a narrow window of seating, the service is not good. Pre-pandemic, when they had staff, it was usually pretty good. Most of the time we've gone, the service has been fine and the food has been Denny's. A solid 4 stars on a good day. Hopefully as we venture into a post-pandemic world, staff will return and we will be able to visit again. The skillets are great, the loaded tots are just awesome for a snacker, their shakes are way too big and that's the only way to have them!! read more

Went to Denny's around 1 today for lunch and Jaxon was our server she was rude and had a very smart I'm better than you attitude she more less throw our food on the table complained about how tired she was because someone called out we asked for the manager who came out and introduced her self as Sam she was even more rude and informed us jaxon is her kid and that she doesn't act like that our eggs tasted soured our food was cool and the toast was hard and brunt but the manager got rude and walked away from us still defending her kid this is not a place I would recommend at all service and food was awful If I could leave 5 negative stars I definitely would. read more

Waited 20 min just to be seated (no host or cashier), then wait another 5 min for a drink order, then waited another 10 min before she even took my food order, then wait 40 min on the food, took me 30 min to eat, then had to wait another 15 min to pay cause there's no cashier. No one wants to spend 2hrs of their day at a Dennys. Especially when there are only 3 customers in the entire restaurant and at least 4 employees that I could see. This was my first meal after getting off my flight from Japan. My family and I decided that breakfast for dinner sounded great. We have Denny's in Japan but they do not have breakfast all day. Our waitress was an extremely sweet older woman who took very good care of us! There was a mess up with my order (I wanted a breakfast skillet but ended up with an omelette) and we weren't sure what happened (if I ordered the wrong thing or if she heard the wrong thing) but she was nice enough to have the skillet made for me, anyway! The food was great! My veggie breakfast skillet was delicious. It needed a little salt but other than that it was great! My sister ordered the Philly Cheesesteak breakfast skillet- that was also awesome. My grandfather ordered veggie beef soup and a grilled cheese- he ate every last bite. No complaints from anyone! We may stop by this Denny's on the way back to the airport! read more

Have had the veggie breakfast skillet here many times. It is delicious! The caramelization they always get on the veggies is amazing I eat a lot of veggie fajitas in Mexican restaurants and some of them can't seem to get the caramelization and flavor that Dennys does. I highly recommend this dish. It comes with two scrambled egg whites. (I ask for whole eggs instead.) This Dennys is in a truck stop. A very nice truck stop that has tasty looking prepared food also. AND, there is a working pay phone! ....how often do you see that? I really, really, really wish there were still Dennys in the Nashville area I think there menu is the bomb. With the variety, the half portions and nutritional information they have. If I lived near a Dennys I'd be a Dennys eating fool! :) read more

As a driver, my husband and I eat at Dennys all across the US. We have come to know that even though they serve the same food, the portions are not consistent. This restaurant was clean, inviting. It also has a driver's lounge, which is a plus for those on the road. Our server, Nasir, was friendly, top notch. He was very efficient in our dining needs. He was prompt and corrective in my discouragement of the small portion size of steak. Above all this particular Dennys is one we will not forget and try to stop at in future endeavors. read more

The food was awful. The service was awful. Everything about this restaurant was very unsettling. The table we sat at was filthy hadn't been cleaned. There was a bug taking cover on our table. When I moved the syrup it took off running across our table. My cinnamon pancakes looked like choc pancakes from being burnt n they actually served it to me that way. My eggs looked like they sat on my plate awhile they were hard on the edges. Crispy like. Someone else there told me they had rats n the back n outside n the back. Gross!!! The cook didn't show any sanitary being used. She even came out n smacked our waiters butt kissed him n went back to cooking with no gloves. Our waiter I did catch his name, had white residue on his nose from what I'm not sure but it looked to be something I didn't want n my food. My kids was with us so honestly didn't think it was appropriate for 4 and 5 year old to see. The staff wasn't worried about how many people was waiting to check out or be seated. I honestly don't know how this place is even open. Or how the store manager allows such things to happen. I'm filing a complaint with customer affairs n contacted the local health department already. Order online for pick up, was told it will be ready by 8:51, my husband want to go pick up the order. The lady told him they couldn't find the order after being given the name, come to find out she wasn't even typing in the correct name. Apparently heard it wrong... he was told it wasn't ready. 40 minutes later and yet no food, had to go tell the lady we were still waiting for our food ... no rush on these people. I used to take my dad in there Atleast once a week. Then services and quality of food went way down. Have not been in there for about a year. Thought we would give them another chance last week. Went in for breakfast. The hash browns smelled like mold and were not fully cooked. I have seen straws that were wider than the one slice of bacon we received for and additional $1.29. My dad decided to eat the hash browns and was sick all day the following day. Don't waste your money. It is no longer the Dennys of old. read more

This location is larger and more spacious than your average Denny's. The hostess, Shannon, doubled as our server and was just sweet as pie. She even recommended me the Choconana Pancake Breakfast. I ordered that, and delicious it was. We also tried the Pumpkin Spice Pancake Puppies, which were amazeballs. Thanks for a delicious breakfast and overall great experience before we made our way to the National Corvette Museum that day! read more

This **truck stop** Denny's BLEW my families mind!!! The service was super friendly. Restaurant clean. Denny's has a new menu and wow, wow, wow!!! My wife ordered a salad and it was FRESH field greens, non- salty grilled chicken and HUGE! The kids items had healtier options. I had healthier options... And the new pancakes they offered were very tasty! If this Denny's is any indication of what corporate is attempting to do, then I'm (shockingly) amazed and SUPER supportive!!!! While I won't recommend Denny's in general, I do say to give this one a shot! We are still in shock!!! read more

This Denny's has gone down, way down. It was HORRIBLE!!!!! First the waitress was rude and let us know we were wasting her time asking questions. She didn't get the order right and argued tried to blame us then claimed she didn't hear.. We had to beg for drink refills. We waited 43 minutes to get our food and we ordered breakfast food for dinner. We almost walked out, the restaurant was not that busy. The food was bad we all got sick to stomach. And couldn't eat some of the food it tasted so bad. NEVER ever going back. The bathrooms were filthy hadn't been cleaned all day. The other floors hadn't been sweep and mopped the doors were filthy obviously NOBODY CARES at this restaurant. I attribute it to bad management! It's a roadside truck stop Denny's. The service can be slow but I've had more good experiences than poor. Chelsey is a great server. Every time she has waited on me the service has been great.
