The shop has been open for 5 years and serves Franklin in a nice little house. There are 3 rooms with tables and couches and comfortable chairs. I worked on while having lunch on her free hotspot wireless connections. Sassy Lassie is 1 of the 2 spots in town where you can get wireless. The other is Ms. Anne's other location Burgers On The Square. Know for the best burgers in the South and chicken wings! It is pretty small inside and we came on a weekend so it was busy and packed. We were lucky to snag a small table but it was difficult to find seating when we got our food. All in all, I'm so happy we came here. Yes it is a little pricey, but you get what you pay for. The quality is clearly there and showed up through everything we got. The entire time I was on the phone with my boyfriend, I was talking to him saying it's ridiculous she mean mugged me when I ordered and then told me I couldn't come through the drive thru when I already ordered And yes I did cuss on the phone. I waited 20 minutes in the window with NOONE giving me my drink nor giving me a refund. Next thing you know a police officer came to my car and told me I was getting placed on a trespassing thing, told me next time I come that I will get in trouble. She wouldn't tell me her name but her name is Toni on my receipt, and it took 10 more minutes just to get her to process the refund. I was late to work and didn't get my drink and I have to wait for the refund. It's ridiculous, and I'm feeling very angry.

This isn't an artisan pretentious cup o'joe. This is fun, kitschy and given to those with a bit of a sweet tooth. If that's you, read on. I walked in and was greeted by a very nice young lady behind the counter. The blackboard menu is rather extensive so take your time to take it all in. Seeing that I was a bit overwhelmed, she offered some help and I took it. Before too long, I'd settled on a frozen (not iced) coffee with English toffee syrup and a lemon poppyseed muffin. I'd ordered it to go but as I turned to leave I noticed the covered back porch with its open air and multitude of technicolored chairs. Looks like I was staying for a bit. The frozen coffee was a perfect treat for a hot day. Blended to have just the right icy texture, the coffee and toffee notes equally acquitted themselves in my mouth and I grew more and more satisfied with every sip. My muffin was fine. It was perfectly okay (not a criticism) and paired well with my beverage (the star of the show). After finishing my muffin, I took a couple of more sips of my drink and started my drive back to Nashville. I left thinking that the location and (real?) farmhouse aesthetic made ACC a place I needed to experience in the cooler fall/winter months -- even if it was no longer new (to me).
