Was at the hostess stand, requested Jess's section, was greeted by Jess, put an appetizer in Pepper cheese bites, also she took our drink order. Told us the specials for us to decide. Restaurant was highly recommended by our hotel and rightly so. We ordered a carryout and picked it up at their convenient drive through. The staff was so nice and friendly. The cowboy pork ribeye was huge, thick, juicy and delicious! The large sweet potato was cooked to perfection and topped with a cinnamon honey like butter and brown sugar.... Yummy. The pepper beef soup was spicy and my husband loved it. The fried green tomatoes were crispy on the outside and perfect on the inside and well pared with the accompanying sauce. The meal came with a round loaf of bread that was crunchy on the outside and soft and fluffy on the inside. We are so happy with this recommendation and if you're in Franklin Kentucky don't pass this one up, it is well worth a stop. Give her a raise good help is hard to find. The place is so cute, decorated so nice. We sat outside and it was perfect. Not one mosquitoes bothered us. THE FOOD! Fast and friendly service. Laid back bar atmosphere. I stopped in for a late lunch at this restaurant which is right off I65's Franklin Tennessee exit. I ordered a Mushroom and Swiss burger with an unsweetened ice tea. The burger was huge and cooked exactly like I had ordered. There was no sauce on the burger---instead it comes with lettuce, tomato, and pickle. I preferred mine without the pickles and with A1, which the server brought. This was a great stop when traveling between Huntsville and Nashville. I recommend you give it a try! read more

We went for lunch. The complementary bread is really good. I liked their seasonal pineapple margarita. Their fried green beans are really really good. My friend had tried the spinach artichoke dip previously and said that's excellent too. The beer cheese soup was good, but could use some broccoli in it maybe? It had a kick to it which I liked. The filet steak was larger than 8 OZ for sure. I liked the butter sauce on the broccoli side I got. The chicken parmesan is a huge portion and served over angel hair pasta. Not sure how this place has a 4.0 rating. I might have given 2 starts if the rating was more like 3.0-3.5. The only good thing we had were the chicken wings and the only reason I would consider 2 stars. I'd eat them again. Otherwise, just no. When asking about the steaks, we were warned that we might not get the temperature ordered because they aren't good at that...??!! What restaurant with Grill in the name has to warn about not being able to serve you a steak to your liking? One person in my group got the ribs. "Meh" was their review. Another person ordered the ribeye medium rare. To no surprise, it came out medium well and they were underwhelmed. Having heard the warning about cooking, I ordered a bison burger medium well. It came out tongue-burning hot (I didn't even take a bite, I burnt my tongue on initial touch of the side of the burger). The food here is always good. The first time I came here I was unimpressed because the waitress had a hard time figuring out what I could or couldn't eat being allergic to dairy. The second time (today) I was extremely impressed with my waitress and whoever from the back brought me out a dairy free butter cinnamon goodness for my sweet potato fries. seriously made my day because it is so exhausting to go out to eat and try to figure out what I can eat. read more

I'm gonna give it a 1/10 to me it was more like a broccoli purée all sauce no broccoli, could very well have eaten it as a soup. My order came out wrong as I asked for o onions. The food was fine. The service was infuriating. My boyfriend used to live in Franklin and frequented the restaurant often. We went there when visiting his mom that just had surgery. Our waitress recognized him which makes sense and was very friendly and flirty but I kind of passed it off thinking it's just they are familiar. He told her he moved to be with me. She knew I was his date. When she commented on what I ordered I thought umm, ok but thought it was nothing. When we moved down the bar to see the game on TV better and she yelled at him across the bar that he looked good sitting there, I let it go. But when she brought the check and saw me pay and leave her tip she pulled out her order pad and left a note for him to take to his mom (whom she has never met!) and the note said "I love you mom, get well soon so he can bring you to see me." Then as we leave she yells out big and loud to him calling his name and saying "I love you, I miss you, hurry back to see me." Maybe I'm just too old fashioned for my own good but I found this very inappropriate and not being a friendly waitress, but rather being very disrespectful to someone that just paid you, not only embarrassing them and making them uncomfortable in front of their partner and the rest of the customers but also just being out of line professionally. Call me the jealous type but I assure you I will never stand for it to happen to me again. read more

While camping nearby we picked this restaurant to have our dinner. No complaints from our meal choices. The hubs ordered the hot pepper steak soup and the waiter advised it was spicy before ordering. He was correct. Lol. But all in all it was good. The chef did a great job on both chicken dishes. Description in the pics I posted. The chicken was moist not dry and I was not able to eat all mine so happy to have half to take home. Bread was offered but we passed as on a low carb diet. So, I've been going to Colorado Grill for years. Before they opened the location in Franklin, I would drive to White House. Now, my go to is the Franklin location. The food is good, service is good as long as you avoid going in large groups. I don't recommend because they are just not built to handle it. Also, don't sit close to the kitchen. Not only are they playing music throughout the restaurant, you will also hear loud music coming from the kitchen. It all runs together. Not pleasant. Especially if they are playing music with explicit words. Stay closer to the front of the restaurant or out in front of the bar. read more

I am staying at a hotel across the street and wanted a good meal and a couple beers. I read two reviews and they were mixed, but when the lady at the hotel recommended the place it was the logical choice. The restaurant on a Tuesday at 6:30pm had a good dinner crowd. Being a single I sat at the bar and was the only person and with COVID-19 I liked that. They had 9 draft beer choices and a full bar. The bar tender was busy as she had tables and was mixing and pouring for the restaurant. She was on top of things. I ordered a side salad which was large for a side and I was happy with it. For my meal I ordered the grilled shrimp and rice off the appetizer menu and added a side of potatoes, onions, peppers. It was delicious! Definitely exceeded my expectations. It is hard to get grilled shrimp that isn't over cooked, but the kitchen nailed it. This was a really good meal. I left very happy. read more
