Not what I would expect from a small town cafe in rural Kentucky! I ordered the Buffalo Chicken Wrap with a side of sweet potato fries. The fries were a standout-perfectly crispy on the outside, soft on the inside and lightly seasoned with sugar and pepper. The provided dipping sauce was a treat-sweetened whipped cream cheese with vanilla bean. The smallish wrap consisted of quality ingredients-particularly a nice tomato. There was a conservative amount of nicely seasoned but tiny chicken nuggets, more breading than meat. The sauce was excellent and slightly spicier than most versions, which I appreciated. Overall, a delicious if not completely satisfying meal. Would go again.

It was not long after we ordered that our plates arrived piping hot and full of flavor, All I wanted was a vegetable platter and there was definitely enough food on the plate to satisfy my hunger and that's not including the muffins/biscuits that were brought to the table. The desserts here, mostly pies are really quite good. I ended up taking a slice home for later with absolutely no complaints. The best part... the pricing! Everything is well priced! We decided to grab two pies to go to share with some lucky friends, and got the peanut butter fudge and pecan plus a slice of the lemon meringue. Everything was so good but the peanut butter and pecan is very rich (obviously). Both were excellent but we should've grabbed some vanilla ice cream. The lemon meringue was excellent, and if we had known you need to order it in advance to get a whole pie we would've! Now we know for next time.
