Their limited success isbecause their is very little options when coming to a restaurant in Scottsville . At 1030am it took 29 minutes to get my breakfast. Wondering where my food is. the server, explained everything is made fresh and there were other tickets in front d me. Pancake cold, oleo/butter wouldn't melt and bacon was cold. When I told server ..."Humph everything came out fresh" . Upon departure the cashier asked how my meal was, if you ask me then I'm going to tell you . 29 minutes for food ...her response was "how long does it take you to cook it at home?....like what!!!!! The roast beef was shredded tastes like it was out of a can. The beans had no taste and didn't get my corn bread the portions were to small for the money and management are very rude don't commit on a post unless it's good because if it's not they get rude fast would give this place a 0 it was good at one time very pleasant and family friendly now under new management read more

4/14/2020 Called ahead for curbside pick up. Ordered 2 plates of fried pickles and they were absolute trash. They only gave us one order of pickles, the pickles themselves were hard and beyond crunchy, seemingly looked like they had been sitting out and then reheated in the microwave before being brought out to us. This is a great home cooking restaurant in scottsville!!! Wonderful catfish, great fried pickles, superb sweet tea!!!! On a saturday brunch time, it's a very quiet place to enjoy food! It's also very peaceful when it's pouring down rain. The service was great. I got the catfish plate, with french fries, mac n cheese, Fried pickles, and hushpuppies. They have catfish nuggets, just like harpers, but they are breaded and seasoned differently. It's a bit more spicy than harpers, which is a plus. The fried pickles were a great addition to the meal. I hear that breakfast here is really good as well. Overall, a wonderful establishment with great prices and wonderful food. Recommended!!!! read more

First time visiting Griddle's. Will definitely go back! We had breakfast and it was delicious. Super affordable. I had a $4 deal which was one pancake with bacon. The pancake was huge! Our daughter had the same and she lapped it up! It was more than enough. The bacon was cooked perfectly and good quality bacon. My husband had a breakfast meal with fresh sausage (delicious), 2 eggs, hash browns and biscuits and gravy. It was a ton of food! He enjoyed it all. Will go back another time to try lunch/supper! read more

Kinda pitiful for breakfast. I think they make their own sausage and it ain't wonderful! I will go back and give them a chance to show me the money! Firstly, this is one very, very boring place. Bare walls and just NO personality at all. Bathroom was iffy. Six women in the place and all of them were at least 100 pounds overweight, each! That could mean the food is much better than I imagine.
