I LOVE TERESA'S!!!!!! I went there with my Grandma earlier today and it was FANTASTIC the building was so NICE decorated, and beautiful! The staff were just SO kind and helpful! I got chicken tenders, fries, and chocolate milk and it was SO GOOD the chicken was BIG and there were SO many fries I LOVED it!! As for the chocolate milk, it was AWESOME, you can TASTE the chocolate and it's just so great. FIVE STARS THIS IS BETTER THAN MCDONALD'S, AND THE PRICES ARE JUST SO REASONABLE IT WAS 14$ FOR JUST ME AND MY GRANDMA!!! GO HERE!!!!! read more

The parking lot was packed on Saturday morning about 9. However once inside, we realized just how much dining space they had lots! Also, plenty of staff and they were very attentive. We both had the breakfast special and every item was very good. I had 2 eggs over medium, grits, 2 sausage patties, and 2 biscuits with a bowl of gravy. My friend had 2 eggs sunny side up, 3 sausage links, sliced fried potatoes, and 2 pieces of toast. All were very good, but the gravy and the sausage links were especially good. Ordered 2 chicken biscuits to go for later. 2 coffees and was out for $24- amazing value. read more

A.MAZ.ING food, service and prices. We discovered this great breakfast place while in Bowling Green for a week. We ended up having breakfast there three times! When you walk in, you can tell it's a favorite for the locals. It's decorated kind of cute and quirky. The staff and servers are very nice. Yummy biscuits and gravy. I grew up in BG but this is my first time visiting Teresa's and certainly not my last! I can confidently say it's moved to the top of my list for places to eat in BG. It's a large space with plenty of seating even when the parking lot is packed. We were seated immediately and the service was fast and friendly! Each day has a different special on the board, which is also posted on their Facebook page. Breakfast is all day. I came on Fish Friday, with the choice of catfish or fried shrimp. I went with the catfish and it was some of the best I've had!! The breading was the best part - a little sweet and a little salty. For sides I got mashed potatoes with gravy (delicious), mac n cheese (perfectly cheesy), and the creamed corn (hallelujah)! You also get a choice of a roll, cornbread, or hushpuppies and I got the cornbread. Top it all off with unlimited refills of sweet tea and some chocolate pie to go and it's the perfect Southern home-cooked meal!! The catfish special was $9.95 and the slice of pie was $3. For $13 it's all you can eat catfish! Everyone was in a great mood and so happy and welcoming. This is THE spot to take your out of town friends to show them true Southern cooking and hospitality (or keep it to yourself for days when you want a special meal). Thank you so much, Teresa's!! Ok. Pros: good value for the money. Friendly service. I did not get food poisoning. Cons: nothing interesting at all on the menu. Just bland diner food. I like that this place doesn't try to be anything it isn't. If you have bellies to fill on a budget, you could do SO much worse. But there's nothing here one might seek out or crave, I suspect. My first time in and found it to be a great spot for breakfast. It was tasty and inexpensive. I had a platter that consisted of two eggs, sausage, grits, biscuits & gravy all for $7. The grits tasted like instant grits but otherwise everything was great. read more

Down home cooking, great service even greater prices. I had the country fried steak & eggs. It was delicious.

We were a little confused when we came in (I think we walked in the back door). But this place is FANTASTIC. The prices can't be beat. We got biscuits and gravy, 2 eggs, 6 slices of bacon, hash browns, and 2 pancakes for $12. Their lunch menu looks great too. Our drinks were never less than half empty and our dirty dishes were cleared as soon as we were finished with them. I love it here. Awesome roast beef Manhattan. Hope to eat here again soon. They were a bit crowded, but my food came quickly.

It has the home cooked feel. The staff is super friendly. The atmosphere is homey and inviting. It's like going to grandmas house.

Traditional breakfast that was delicious. The staff works well together to make sure you're taken care of, with fresh coffee and each order brought to the table just as it was ordered. And their local sausage was great and enjoyed by the locals! Definitely worth a try if you are in the Bowling Green area. read more

We had breakfast! We got omelettes. I got the country ham and cheese omelette and had peppers and onions added! It was delicious! My husband had the chicken fajita omelette and a pancake on the side! He loved it! This is a very reasonably priced restaurant. The servers are awesome! This was our third time to eat here! It was out of our way to go here, but so worth it!!! The outside looks like an old warehouse. It's definitely a dive cafe with mediocre food. Everything was super cheap with should've tipped us off. The tables are old banquet tables that are dinged up. Terrible place. Do not recommend if you have a choice to dine somewhere else. read more

We love to go out for breakfast and Theresa's is now our favorite breakfast spot. I was here on a whim, traveling thru but it would be the place I'd pick again in a heartbeat. Went here with my son. Have to admit I had apprehension on entering. I looked like the classic greasy spoon restaurant. Inside didn't change my mind. I must say the inside was decorated like the classic off road, out of the way greasy spoon. It was very very clean even while it was very crowded. My son had the all meat omelet which he loved. Saying it was best he'd ever had. My hobby is cooking, and I make many different items most restaurants don't serve. I had their chicken livers with fries and creamed corn. I can only say OMG!!! I've found in my mind 70's I cant eat what I'm normally served in restaurants, this time I had no choice. The food was so fantastic I couldn't leave a bite uneaten. There was creamed corn, but not what you get out of a can. This corn was lightly creamed and so very delicious. There sides also included something I've never see at a restaurant, deviled eggs! This is one of my favorite restaurants! I love the laid back atmosphere, it's large enough to serve a lot of people during this COVID time. The service is Always Friendly. The food is cooked perfectly, my eggs always come out the way I request. Unlike another favorite restaurant Cracker Barrel which served me rubber eggs last night. So, no matter what other people think, I can't afford to go to expensive restaurants, but as long as Teresa's is around, I don't have to worry about it. Bravo! read more

My work occasionally takes me to Bowling Green and Teresa's is becoming my regular lunch spot. They have daily specials with a meat and three sides and a pretty full menu of other lunch and breakfast (all day) options. Hot tip: if you can't decide which sides to order, opt for a veggie plate...a nice cheap option and another staple of these kinds of country spots that I always enjoy. Hours are for breakfast and lunch only, which suits me fine. The staff is friendly and the feel is familiar if you have been to other southern meat and sides lunch counters (one of my favorite comfort food categories). I will say, don't expect all scratch made stuff--that's just not the deal. Plenty of items are shortcut versions from a can and they are making big batches, so there's a bit of a cafeteria feel. However, if you are in need of a little southern comfort and find yourself in BG for bfast or lunch, I think this is a great option. I usually get in and out for around $10, including a coffee or iced tea. read more

This local gem was introduced to me while I was in town visiting a deer friend. The breakfast items all seem to be excellent and affordable. And the service is down-home Kentucky friendly, as one would expect. I had their special with a local sausage I can't remember the name of. And a biscuit and gravy side. I love this place. They have the best breakfast. It is a greasy spoon with country style cooking. If you want down home cooking in BG, this is the place to go. The only downside is that they close at like 2pm. read more

This place is worth a detour if you're driving through Kentucky. I ate the best piece of pie I've ever had that wasn't made by a relative: chocolate pie with made-from-scratch crust, pie, and tall meringue. Glorious! read more

Teresa knows what she's doing and she's doing it really well. This is southern diner food made with love. I even got a hug from the queen bee as I was leaving. Recommend this for breakfast and for cornmeal fried catfish at lunch. All the sides and pie was great too. The waitress was holding it together, but might need a bit of rehab. read more

Re-found Teresa's for their Friday night catfish! Food was delicious and you could order it all you can eat if you wanted more. Chicken tenders were huge and all white meat! Choices of 3 sides were plentiful. Place was very clean, service was good. Lots of tables. Private area was available. We'll be back to this restaurant. read more
