This place is amazing! A little remote, can't see it from…read morethe road but there's a sign to turn on the gravel driveway and head down the hill. Plenty of parking. There's a reason this place has been around so long, great food, great service and great prices! I had the seafood platter because I wanted to try everything. The shrimp and oysters are heavily breaded and quite crunchy. You aren't here for that though, you're here for the catfish, and it's amazing. Thin strips (not whole fillets) with a light cornmeal crust that does not fall off, cooked perfectly. Great balance between slightly crunchy without overcooking the fish. Outstanding. Also, nearly every (except child's) plate comes with all you can eat fish. All you can eat is probably less than the original portion though. But wait. If you are a fan of fried clams, you need to try these. Crispy, chewy and perfect. They are so pretty I would guess they are food service clams but at the price point they almost can't be. I don't know if you can add a side of them, probably? Try it. They have Coke products (in the old Pizza Hut red cups), a few hot sauces to choose from, vinegar, cocktail sauce and Heinz ketchup (no silly catsup here). Oh, and all you can eat coleslaw too but I can't comment on that. My favorite part, the leftovers (that you will have) heat up almost identical to serving in an air fryer! Go here, try this, get more food than you can possibly eat in 3 meals for $11-$14. Worth the trip!

The menu gives you a ton of options between meats and sides, and all are very hometown and tasty. My husband got the pulled pork plate which came with two sides and a huge portion of meat. The baked beans were a bit spicy as they had added hot sauce to the mix which made it amazingly flavorful. My Mom got their chicken tender plate which was huge! The meat was tender and full of juice and she said the fries were perfectly done. I ended up with baked beans, fries, fries green tomatoes and some potato salad (as a small cheat). I loved the fried green tomatoes! I asked for a side of Barbeque sauce for them which brought out the flavor even more. We were impressed with the feel of the spot as if you were on someone's front porch or having a Barbeque in someone's back yard. And it was tasty! Plus their sweet tea is amazing and you get two free refills! Lovely staff and to the spot service plus a home feel. Highly thankful for this spot and will for sure try it again! If you are passing by make sure to stop and try out their food, delicious!
