Food is ok. Not open for dinner. Better like paninis as your main sandwich. Soup is watered, thin and not much flavor.

Excellent fresh food - everything is homemade including their decadent brownies. Definitely worth stopping in.

Best cafe for miles. Amazing sandwiches, dessert, salads and ice cream! In the location of an old pharmacy - cool ambience.

Wonderful place to eat. Great friendly-hometown service at a place that holds a lot of history.

The service is very friendly and the vibe is very authentic. I ordered 1 asada, 1 pollo and 1 camarón taco. I had them add cheese and pico but they really didn't need it. They brought fresh Salas to us to add on. My fiancé ordered the cabeza taco and a burrito supremo with pastor in it. We both loved our food. I've lived in El Paso TX and southern Arizona for years so finding thing place in middle TN is very nice. I highly recommend this place and will be back.

The place is super cute and quaint -- it instantly took me back to Mexico. Inside, it's bright, colorful, and full of charm -- exactly what you'd expect from a true taquería. There are a few booths, one larger table inside, and a couple of tables outside. Many guests were grabbing food to go, but I decided to stay and soak it all in. Service: You order at the counter, and the people there couldn't have been nicer. The hospitality is what every restaurant should strive for -- warm, welcoming, and genuinely kind. Food & Drinks: I had the shrimp tacos, and they were done right: soft corn tortillas topped simply with onions and cilantro. The salsas were just as authentic and packed with flavor. I went for my favorite, the salsa verde, and of course grabbed a Jarritos. The only thing that could have made it better? If they had my favorite flavor -- grapefruit. A minor inconvenience -- the mandarin was equally delicious. Overall: If you haven't been, this is a must-try. Do yourself a favor and check out this authentic taquería -- you'll be glad you did.

When I started eating there regularly, I quickly discovered most of the protein options are bad risks. Carne Asada: good once, next time all gristle/inedible. Carnitas, Pulled Beef, Ground Beef, Choriso: again, good once or twice, but at some point served in tablespoons of grease - more grease than queso. Shrimp: basically tiny rubber balls. Chicken (and Al Pastor, usually) are the only consistent options I've tried. 2. The chips are sometimes cooked in rancid oil and soaked to translucence in it, resulting in an acrid, almost metallic taste that ruins everything else. 3. Tonight was the last straw. The queso was spoiled. It smelled like expired milk and tasted sour. I hope I don't get sick. The lack of quality control is a dealbreaker. I gave this place way too many chances. It's not even cheap anymore.
