That doesn't work for my wife. She tried it anyway picking out the sausage. But, to no avail, the cook used way too much flour to make the gravy with. It really tasted horrible. We asked for crispy hash browns, we got soggy over buttered hash browns. I had a 3 egg omelette with bacon, sausage, onions and tomato. The egg was not fluffy at all. The eggs had no life in them, it was as flat as a pancake. The hot chocolate is from a bag, they serve powered hot chocolate. Terrible choice for any restaurant. I will say, the other reviewers are spot on here on Yelp. This place misses the mark in too many places. Service was very underwhelming also. No personality whatsoever. A 15% tip was it. I highly recommend avoiding this joint. It's money spent and wasted.. Run!!! Keep running!

The food was good and reasonably priced for the locale - Shrimp dinner and Ahi salad - both $20 each, good beer $6. Service was OK - waitress forgot an item. While this is otherwise a fair place to eat and one may enjoy looking out over the water and boats, I couldn't recommend because I felt misled by the name. You may feel differently.

The salad bar is actually my favorite part, well that and the bread! I know, I know-not supposed to eat much bread, but my goodness-if you are going to enjoy some, their dinner rolls are heavenly! Be sure to try some of the taffy, and the sorghum syrup from a neighboring farm -you'll love making cookies and other stuff with it! My husband decided to live risky and had the ranchero pork chop. The country fried steak was ok, typical of most diners. The serving size was impressively HUGE. However, the pork chops were AMAZING. They were incredibly tender, juicy and a tad spicy. ABSOLUTE PERFECTION. When I return, it will be for that pork chop! It's that good. Sadly, they sell out quickly of their fried pies, which are homemade so we were unable to try them. Our server was sweet, very helpful and the restaurant was clean with a highland cow motif.
