Great fish fry and burger! Service was also attentive and kind. They brought our kiddo mashed potatoes to hold him over while we waited.

Delicious food. We had the French toast, eggs, bacon and chicken biscuit. The staff is super friendly. Will be back for sure.

I would have loved to give this small, local restaurant a 5* but...couldn't. Pros: Great location near the lake and the servers were lovely. Cons: I got a Ribeye steak sandwich & fries. I opened my sandwich and was shocked to see the wide streak of fat right on top, long slice folded in half with all the fat on top. I would have been so embarrassed to have ever sold something like that to a customer. The slice was also incredibly thin. The fries were unfortunately not good either. They were the cheap frozen kind that you can't even taste potato and they were so dry. I would truthfully rather pay $3.00 more and had a nice lunch. A missed opportunity for a really loyal customer. read more

Driving from Chattanooga to Kentucky we found ourselves in Celina, TN around lunch time. We passed a Subway, but we were looking for someplace with a feel for the area, and we found it! The first thing you notice about Ollie's is the elephant in the front of the bullding. You walk in and there are about 5 or 6 tables in the main room with a counter. We were greeted immediately and told to sit wherever we wanted. There was one other table taken when we walked in, but by the time we left, all of the tables were filled. We ordered waters to drink and the sourdough cheeseburger and shared an order of fries. Then we sat back to enjoy the ambience. Lots of fishing photos and photos of people attempting to eat their 2 pound burger! When we were leaving, someone ordered the 2 pound burger, so we missed getting to see some one attempt it. The burgers were perfect, just what we wanted. A flavorful burger with your choice of toppings with pepper jack cheese and a sourdough bun. The bun had been toasted also on the grill, so it had a nice crunch to it. read more

Just WOW! The food was amazing... Was there for lunch yesterday, I had the fried grouper, fried okra and pinto beans. (along with hush puppies and cornbread) It was all yummy... and generous portions. When they asked if I wanted anything else, I ordered another plate to go, for dinner. That was Good. Checked in to the nearby campground and asked if Ollie's or another restaurant were good to eat at. The campground attendants said, "Ollie's" in unison. I had The grouper, my husband had the catfish and both of my daughters got the elephant burgers. The guy at the next table got the "Tippsy burger." It was 2 pounds of beef. And let me add that the waitress was good. There were six tables in the front room and just as many in the back room and she was the only waitress and she didn't miss a beat. We're vacationing from Indiana and needed a bite to eat. Ollie's did not disappoint! My boyfriend and I wanted to try a little of everything, so we split the elephant burger with toothpicks (fried jalapeno and onion strips), wings, the grouper dinner with hush puppies, coleslaw and fries, and grilled shrimp. We had some sweet tea while we waited for our takeout and even got refills before we left! Although everything tasted great, my personal favorites were the burger, toothpicks, and grouper. If you are looking for delicious food at really good prices come on in and be ready for a great meal with friendly service in a relaxed atmosphere. If you happen to be around on Friday night be prepared for the best fried chicken along with pinto beans, apples, corn, stewed potatoes, slaw , and green beans. The food is amazing, especially on Friday nights! The burgers are also great! Ollie's is the best place in Celina and can be easily located by spotting Tipsy, a big elephant, in the parking lot! If you're lucky you'll get to meet Ollie! He's the owner and chef, he's a "hoot"! The only complaint is that the servers are often unfriendly, which takes away from the environment, but they are great at serving and doing their job. Over all, Ollie's Place is well worth a visit! read more

Great food.. Terrible servers. The food is amazing here, and cheap! The environment is so comfortable it feels like you're right at home. But the servers also look so unhappy and aren't very friendly AT ALL. I myself am a server and I always great customers with a smile and "How are you today?" The first thing our server says is "what to drink?" With the worst look on her face. I don't understand. The food is what keeps us coming back not the service. read more

We went to Ollie's while in Celina today! We had been to their booth at the Putnam Co. Fair and enjoyed it so we wanted to try it out. We were not disappointed! We were greeted by two friendly waitresses that took very good care of us. My husband got the Elephant Burger and ate the whole thing and said it was delicious. I had the catfish and it was great. The food was excellent. I had a hamburger steak with onions and mushrooms, fries and slaw. The service was less than expected. We walked in and stood at the door until a local regular told us to seat ourselves. After doing so, and about 15 minutes, the one waitress came to get our drink order. Luckily I snagged a menu on the other table so she got our food order too. Food was out pretty quick. And the meal was great. read more
