Splitting the burger was a good call - I'd never have eaten the whole thing myself. The burger and fries were just over $20. When you consider a Big Mac meal at that clown place is $14, SmashCity is almost a bargain. Paul, the owner was like the energizer bunny - he was everywhere at once. Personality oozed from his pores. In Lenoir City, with such a clever restaurant name, I had to try the burger. I ordered the Knox Burger, which has Swiss cheese, Mayo, pickles, caramelized onions, and mushrooms. I thought the patty was substantial and very well seasoned and I loved the light, fresh bun. However, there was so much grease it ended up being the soup I never ordered. I enjoyed the side bean salad even though there was a very strong raw onion feel to it. Solid burger overall!
