I loved the cute little building and all of the Western finishes. I desperately want one of the benches from their front porch! So cute! My dad and I were able to sit at a table that was safely distanced in this time of COVID. We were given a menu and the price points are unbeatable! They have a great selection. I built a breakfast and my dad got the biscuits and gravy. Everything was so good and we both were stuffed when we left. They also had chocolate gravy but I didn't realize that til after I ordered so next time I'm getting that. Service was excellent and we had a great time! Personally, I've been smoking meat for over 40 years. I truly understand the work that goes into creating the perfect smoked masterpiece. I ordered a $50. Combo. The pulled pork was good. The chicken was super dry, it was overcooked. The potato salad and slaw were flavorless. Overall, I was overwhelmed with excitement for the opportunity to eat some great food and I was completely let down with the lack of flavor and appearance. I was underwhelmed to be quite honest with you all out there in YELPland. I was told there is much better BBQ out here in Kentucky and I plan on finding those BBQ landmarks. I honestly can't recommend Hunter's. For me personally, they pretty much let me down. I really wanted my neighborhood smokehouse to be stellar, but it just didn't work out.
