It was really nice. Moody dark ambiance. We got in quickly on a slow night without a reservation. Service was great! The food was really good. It's not cheap, and we'd actually been advised by someone at the hotel to eat at the food court place instead, mostly because of the price. (I did have the food court nachos another day and they were really good. The wings and food by the sports book were not so good.) I was looking forward to prime rib. It was a good piece that they grilled to warm it up. Which is fine, but I say that to say that they obviously did not, or could not, just cut a 10oz piece Medium Rare from a standing rib that was cooked on that Friday night. It was delicious and more of a cross between a steak or a leftover prime rib that was reheated on the grill. Again, I enjoyed it and it was delicious, but my prime rib snob friends may have objected. One highlight was the complimentary bread with rosemary butter. The bar drinks were outstanding. The only thing on which I can't comment is the dessert because we were too full to have dessert. I totally recommend Irons, would and will return. Just know that some things seem to be prepped and pre-cooked. Which can be better if you're open to that. Like the fried Brussels Sprouts. Really cute steakhouse inside of Mint. We came during dinner hours and got seated right away. I absolutely love the set up at this place. I thought the decor was really nice. The service here was really great, too! Everyone was so nice! I ordered their ribeye on medium well and felt it was cooked perfectly. I felt the prime rib was also cooked perfectly. Their mashed taters weren't bad and the green beans were pretty good. The green beans were topped with fried wontons. Food here wasn't bad at all. Will definitely be back to try some more of their other items. read more

Irons is located within The Mint Gaming hall. It's what you would consider "upscale." No particular dress code noted, so wear what you'd like. They don't open until 5pm, so keep that in mind when you decide to book a reservation. The lighting is very dim to give that intimate vibe. Came here on Father's Day because it was away from the city and wouldn't have to worry with too much traffic and long wait times. Overall the dining experience was great. Savannah, our server was very attentive and welcoming. Overall everything we ordered was great. But they definitely loaded up on the salt with flavor from the mashed potatoes, broccolini, and steaks. Too salty for sure. The meal would've been a lot more enjoyable had they seasoned it with less salt. Definitely needed to ensure you drank plenty of water after or during that meal. They brought out rolls prior to getting our ordered food. The rolls were soft and buttered with garlic and other herbs. If you ever decide to visit the Mint make a reservation for Irons. read more

Bad management. Made a reservation and could not get the seats we reserved at the bar. They let 3 people walk in without reservations take our seat. So we agreed to sitting at a table and after 9 minutes with no one acknowledging our presence, we left. read more

Spent $30 for a half rack of lamb. That half rack consisted of one actual lamb chop and three ribs with literal scraps of meat on them. The amount of meat on 3 of the ribs was 1/3 of the meat on one rib. I asked the waitress if this was normal to get only one rib with an actual chop on it and her reply was "well yeah, you ordered the half rack". This was our first time here and definitely won't be the last. The restaurant looks high end, but there did not seem to be a dress code. We started with the asparagus fries which were delicious. The asparagus was not overcooked. It was just cooked enough to keep its shape and also hold the breading. My husband got the ribeye, I got the pork chop, and we shared the mashed potatoes. The ribeye was the star here. The pork chop was still good though! It had a crispy top, which I really enjoyed and the sauce was a game changer. We had reservations at 7:30 PM on Christmas Eve 2025 for the Christmas Primary of dinner they were out of prime rib, fillet, and pork chops needless to say we left and went to the corner café and got their Christmas dinner for 1499!!!!! read more

While I was very pleased with my experience, there were just a few details that held me back from a 5* rating. One of those fine points is, quite honestly, I've had better at similar high end steakhouses. The high point was the wonderful steak I had. Read on to the end for the wonderful news about that. Part of my rating is based on the fact that my experience was not off to a great start. When dining alone, it seems to be trend to be offered a seat at the bar. I had a reservation and was still offered a bar stool. This bothered me. Even though the hostess was very nice, I felt like I was being steered away from a table for two, as if they wanted to maximize their occupancy rate at real tables. My grumbling continued as I was seated near the kitchen and the noise was just a bit much. At a 4 or 5 star restaurant, it was my feeling that no table should be subjected to kitchen noise. Stefan was my server at this table and was very helpful and nice. He got with the manager when I asked to be reseated and was brought back in the main seating area and I was happy. Zoie was my new server and my partial order with Stefan transferred without issue. Unfortunately, when you order a steak, you get a steak without sides. Eight dollars for a side dish is not exorbitant at a high end restaurant, but none of the descriptions motivated me to try one. This left my wonderful steak looking very lonely as it was plated by itself. Would it hurt to put a scoop of rice next to it? "Pittsburgh Rare" is my steak preparation of choice. I had no reservations about ordering it here. The Ribeye Steak they brought me was one of the best "Pittsburgh Rare" piece of beef I've ever enjoyed. It was perfect. Now for the back story. Zoie told me that they just recently had a meeting on ""Pittsburgh Rare" and I was her first customer to order my steak that way. Than brought Renee, the manager over to get my impression and both of these ladies were glad that I was knowledgeable about this and gave anointed it as excellent. Compliments immediately went to the kitchen. As for value, the meal justified the typically higher price of an excellent steak house. In all honesty, I may not visit this restaurant again as Nashville has several steakhouses that are just a touch better and a lot closer. I will probably just get something at the Corner Cafe, which is the casual restaurant right next to it inside the casino. read more

Food, service and ambiance were actually pretty terrible. I ordered the prime rib, which came out cold and was not great. I will also note that this place is connected to the casino. It is flooded with cigarette and cigar smoke. Not great for meals. The place was not busy at all. Maybe 10 people there total (five in our party). There were more employees than customers. I was unsure if this place was good to bring my family, so we called and discussed what the atmosphere was like and what options were available. They told us all was good, but it was not. The food was really bad and the service was terrible. Not sure this place is a great option unless you are a drunk casino person. Definitely not worth the menu price. read more
