I hadn't been here in a year or so basically for the same reason I'm going to write in this review. It was super busy and they did fairly well in handling that except the checkin is a mess. We waited an hour and I was not surprised given it was a busy Friday night. The service was decent for such a busy night. I ordered a Long Island iced tea. It was syrupy sweet. I would not recommend. I got a cup of chili which would have been good except it was cold and it had a large hunk of meat that was burned and dry. My entree was filet and grilled shrimp. The filet was fair. I've never seen a filet quite chopped/cut up but it was the best part of the meal. The shrimp smelled and tasted ruined. I could not eat it and by the time I got home I was sick. I doubt this review will matter. I have never given a bad review. I usually just don't give a review at all but this is the third and final chance for me for this location. read more

I know it's a chain food place but over the past year each location we have stopped at hasn't disappointed. They give a discount for Veterans and 1st responders. Meals Come with two sides so large enough portions. This is our second time at this specific location. Servers are very friendly and attentive and food is great. Went to Texas Roadhouse for a birthday dinner. This place is usually very busy so we went early. Service was great and they took care of our special needs. It is always a bit loud in there and you just have to bear it. Tonight was not too bad. The steaks were outstanding as you would expect. Mine was a perfect medium, very tender and juicy. I had double mashed potatoes with my dinner. Why? Just the mood I was in for the birthday celebration. All the special requests were granted with speed of service. The food was excellent, our steaks were cooked to perfections and was very tender. The baked sweet potato was oh so tasteful. Our server was very polite and kept our drinks full, she made sure everything was perfect for us. The restaurant was super clean even your restrooms looked like someone cleans them every half hour. I have been to several Texas Roadhouse restaurants around the country, and they are pretty much all the same to me. The food is fine, nothing to write home about, but good enough. The service is usually pretty standard. So why do I write a review about this particular Texas Roadhouse? Two reasons, one of which might be very helpful to readers. 1. I went with my family -- five of us -- for lunch on a Sunday. My father told us several times that we needed to be there when the restaurant opened at 11:00. My thought was, why 11:00? We don't eat lunch until around 12:00, so why get there so early? We went at 11:00, as he suggested, and there was a long line outside the door. It was sunny and hot, so standing in a line in the parking lot was not a fun idea. Once our name was on the list, we waited an additional 20 minutes to get to our table. So, word to the wise: at least on Sundays, get there before the doors open or expect to stand in a long line and wait for a while. 2. Our server simply could not get sauces right. My sister asked for French dressing on her salad but received ranch. My nephew asked for Italian dressing for his salad but received ranch. My mother asked for Thousand Island dressing for her salad but received ranch. I asked for ranch for my chicken but received nothing, which was fine since I had three containers of ranch from everyone else. When one person asked for the corrected salad dressings, they were slow to come, and wrong once again. Will I go back to this Texas Roadhouse? If everyone else wants to go, sure. The wrong salad dressings were the fault of the server, not the restaurant as a whole. But on my own, I'd go elsewhere. read more

Amazing food and service, in town for the tri 5 nationals and need to grab a bite before heading to the motel. Ordered the chicken tenders which have always been overcooked and hard or tough at my johnson city tenn location but these were amazing super juicy and tender. Also got the cup of chili and fries with the meal and everything was perfect. The best thing about this adventure was the fact that we got in fairly quick. At first we thought we had a great waitress who made recommendations on some of the menu items, however her attitude seemed to turn salty whenever my husband told her we did not get our salads until we were literally over half way through the meal. She said we were given a discount on the ticket...I don't think that is unreasonable since it was considered a second side dish choice. The bread was hot and fabulous as was the cinnamon butter. I got the ribeye and sweet potato, hubby got the medallions and rice. Overall, it was okay but not anything to brag about. This location is about an hour and a half away from my house. We had never been to this particular one. Getting off the ramp we could see they have a huge parking lot - and it was Packed! There is a one hour time difference from our house. We went to Sam's Club next door first and used the app to get on the wait list. At this location you do need to go in to the hostess stand to check in. Everyone from your party must be present to be seated. The store appears to be much bigger than our local location. It was crazy busy for a Wednesday night. Upon walking in you were greeted by several young ladies who were all super sweet and friendly. Matthew was our server and never missed a beat. I'm not a water drinker, like at all. Period never none. After the drive a soda wasn't sounding good. And with a long drive back alcohol wasn't an option. I'll be the first to admit the water was really good. Full slab of ribs for him and a filet and ribs for me. That way I'll always have some to take home for a midnight snack. Upon arrival of the food I was a little skeptical. The ribs were not covered in sauce and the steak had a little bit more char marks than normal. Hold the phones the meal was absolutely delicious! The rib bones just slid right out. And the steak was cooked perfectly. I almost ate all of my meal. That never ever ever ever happens. I'm saddened by the fact that they are so far from me. Took my sister here when she was visiting from Vegas. These are her favorite Restaurants- me? Not so much. Waited 20 minutes for a table and they were busy so that's a plus.
