We were looking for BBQ in the bowling green area and ran across this place. This was down Scottsville road heading out of town. We had BBQ with a corn cake and it was excellent. The sides we ordered for the meal were potato salad and green beans that were tasty. The best thing was the desert a hot peach cobbler with ice cream on top. This desert was so tasty. The decor in the place was very interesting with animal horns, fish, UK items, antique tools, etc. We used our yelp and got a free ice tea.

We had supper here as it was on the way to our destination. The chopped pork plate with 2 sides for 9.45. The meat had a good flavor and went well with the sweet dark sauce and the red vinegar sauce. The sides were ok. The corn cakes were excellent. I can highly recommend peach cobbler with ice cream. Check in on yelp app for a free drink !!

Nice little BBQ, order at the window and sit at picnic tables. They bring food to the table quickly. We had the shaved pork and mild sauce. Husband had the dinner with with corn cakes and baked beans, he thought it all wonderful. Did not care for their version of mashed potatoes I had Nachos with pork, jalapeños and onions, very nice and large portion.

I'm always on the search for good BBQ, and found this place on the road driving I-65 near Bowling Green, KY. We stopped for a late lunch, 4 miles off the highway. The ladies at the counter were super nice, and helped us as we figured out our orders. I had the chopped pork dinner with gold sauce, green beans, and white cheddar Mac 'n cheese. Delish!! My son had a pigtato, a concoction with mashed potatoes, chopped pork, cheese, BBQ chips, and chives. He ate that and was overwhelmed at how good it was for lunch, and again for dinner. My husband had the pork stack, with sweet sauce between two corn cakes. Also yummy. I have to comment on the Mac 'n cheese - it really tastes like white cheddar, and was creamy goodness. I'd come back if in the area again.

This is a serious BBQ joint! The pork and chicken are legit! Try the corn cakes - they are so good!

I tried the smoked brisket, broccoli salad, mac & cheese, and cheesecake- each bite was phenomenal. I'm shocked this spot doesn't have more reviews. 10/10 recommend!

If you ever wanted to feel like a caveman (or cavewoman) feasting on a dinosaur leg, then Holy…read moreSmoke BBQ is your prehistoric paradise! I ordered their smoked turkey leg, and let me tell you, it was enormous. I'm talking Flintstones-style, "did I just order a pterodactyl?" huge. As I approached the counter, the aroma of smoky perfection hit me like a freight train. My mouth was watering before I even saw the beast. And then, there it was, in all its meaty glory--a turkey leg so big it could double as a medieval weapon. I half expected a T-Rex to pop out of the kitchen, high-five the chef, and say, "Nice one, bro!" Biting into that smoked turkey leg was like experiencing a flavor explosion. The meat was tender, juicy, and packed with a smoky goodness that had me questioning every other turkey leg I'd ever eaten. How did they do it? Do they have a secret recipe involving unicorn tears and fairy dust? Whatever it is, I need more. The size and flavor were so impressive that I briefly considered starting my own food vlog just to give this turkey leg the fame it deserves. Seriously, this thing should have its own Instagram account. So, if you're in the mood for a culinary adventure that will transport you to a time when dinosaurs roamed the earth--or at least make you feel like you could take one on--head over to Holy Smoke BBQ. Your taste buds will thank you, and you'll have enough leftovers to last through a minor apocalypse. P.S. Don't forget to bring a friend or a forklift to help you carry it to your table. --- Enjoy your turkey leg!
