Great Food and Service
Kenneth M.

The food and ambience was spectacular! First time we visited, but it will not be our last! My fillet ordered, medium rare, came out perfectly, and the baked potato fully loaded could be a meal by itself. We were celebrating our daughter's second anniversary to the best son-in-law one could ask for, and they brought out a congratulations slice of their cheesecake!

Rib eye and smashed potatoes!

Little wait (Friday night, no surprise!). But at the table and everything was great! The salad was nice and fresh and big. Fresh baked bread at the table! We both had the Friday night prime rib with potatoes on the side. The prime rib was tender and flavorful with a nice bark. Cooked to medium rare and delicious!!! Would definitely return here again!

Ribeye steak with sides of baked potato and broccoli

One of the best American food restaurants that we have ever been to. The food was very fresh and tasty. We got ribeye steak )comes with 2 sides), fried catfish (also with 2 sides) and bison burger (1 side). Not only portions were big - they were tasty to the last bit. The complimentary bread that comes as appetizer is another finger licking addition to this full meal. Service is top notch too. Our server - Cole - was very attentive and checked on us every 5 minutes. The place was clean and seats were comfortable too! We will come back again if ever drive thru this location. Total bill for 3 entrees and 2 sweet tea drinks: 78$

A local favorite! Colorado Grill in White House is "a go to restaurant " in town where you take out of town guests to eat, special dinner, or just to grab a delicious bite to eat! My family and I came for dinner and had an amazing server who was very attentive. All of our food came out hot fresh, and very flavorful! Aside from this visit, we also had our rehearsal and rehearsal dinner at their event space and also had excellent food and service

Fish and Chips

This is my go to place for Fish and Chips. The fish always tastes fresh and is perfectly fried. It's never greasy and the portion is generous.

Service was amazing, a superstar named Bailey. Manager (Ben) was very attentive as well. Best onion rings i have ever had... Atlantic Cod and the Catfish is the best you can get anywhere. Salads were very fresh and delicious. Rice, Baked Potato cooked correct and tasty. Oil is changed very frequently. Clean, well maintained restaurant. Reasonably priced, value is there!!! My wife and I came from Nashville to Whitehouse to go to Colorado Grill, we can't get the food and the service in Nashville that we did in Whitehouse TN. Nashville restaurants always try and one up everyone by adding avocado to everything or hot sauce. Plain and simple yet very tasty is the correct answer. Restaurants, learn from Colorado Grill, Bailey & Ben!!!

Cracker Barrel Old Country Store - Fried chicken tenders and mac & cheese

Let me start off by saying we love Cracker Barrel, normally. This store was clean and it felt just…read morelike the one at home which we frequent often. I don't think we've ever had a bad meal; however, in this small town of White House, TN, we were traveling through last week on vacation and decided to eat someplace close to the hotel. We were flabbergasted by a meal that was ordered by one of our traveling companions. She ordered the Friday special which was fried cod. When she received her meal, she looked at the fish and said right away that it wasn't cod, as we know it; it was catfish. The young server was relatively new and said "no, that's what our cod looks like". Our friend replied back, "this is unlike any cod I've ever had, it looks and tastes like catfish". The server offered to have the fish redone and at the same time she checked with the kitchen staff and they swore that this is what their cod looked like and described how their catfish looked like. The second batch of fish looked like the first - still not cod but didn't argue anymore about it. Photos 1 & 2 are what we believe to be catfish posing as cod; photo 3 is a properly fried cod, thanks to a fine restaurant in Hilton Head SC today. Light and fluffy, you don't see the back of the fish like you can with catfish. Maybe there was a mix up in shipping mismarked fish to CB or maybe the staff at this CB truly doesn't know the difference. It was disappointing. The other three meals were very good. The staff we dealt with were all very friendly. As a note; after returning home to Ocala FL, our companion dined at our local CB and she showed these photos of the CB "cod" to to a seasoned server and was told that was not cod, it was catfish and their cod here is battered, not coated in cornmeal as the photo appears to indicate. Our CB serves only cod on Fish Fridays.

He was so kind, and there was a very rude customer who was complaining about his order and I saw the staff remake this man french fries fresh and when he received them for the 2nd time he complained again said they were stale , Wyatt was so accommodating he said we will make fresh ones again and bring them right out sir, and then this rude customer says no I dont want them and then he says hes writing a letter to corporate and then he says just give them to me at the drive through, Wyatt should have called the police for disorderly conduct and my husband saw the whole thing too. Some people are really ridiculous not sure what his problem was but Wyatt was very professional, good for him hes going to make it big in life with such a wonderful outlook in life. God bless him

The burger was well made with good flavor, and the fries came out crispy and salted just right. The service was friendly and pretty quick considering it was fairly busy. The staff got the order correct and made sure everything was good before we left, which I always appreciate. The restaurant itself was clean and had a comfortable, casual fast food atmosphere. It's a good stop if you're looking for a reliable burger meal without a long wait. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that the wait was a little longer than expected during peak time, but overall still a great visit and I'd definitely come back again.

The Irons is tucked inside The Mint Casino and, honestly, I think it's one of those wonderful local gems that can sometimes be forgotten about in our small town. After our meal last night, I can assure you--we won't be forgetting it! Everything was absolutely delicious. Our server, Michelle, was tremendously kind and attentive. She paid attention to all the little details, made some wonderful recommendations, and every recommendation was spot-on! The prime rib and filet were cooked perfectly, and my pecan-crusted salmon was absolutely delicious. And the corn casserole? A family favorite and the perfect addition to the meal! It was a wonderful birthday celebration, made even better by great food and excellent service and the surprise cheesecake! We will definitely be returning--and I highly recommend giving The Irons Steakhouse a try. You may just discover your new favorite local gem!

It's not cheap, and we'd actually been advised by someone at the hotel to eat at the food court place instead, mostly because of the price. (I did have the food court nachos another day and they were really good. The wings and food by the sports book were not so good.) I was looking forward to prime rib. It was a good piece that they grilled to warm it up. Which is fine, but I say that to say that they obviously did not, or could not, just cut a 10oz piece Medium Rare from a standing rib that was cooked on that Friday night. It was delicious and more of a cross between a steak or a leftover prime rib that was reheated on the grill. Again, I enjoyed it and it was delicious, but my prime rib snob friends may have objected. One highlight was the complimentary bread with rosemary butter. The bar drinks were outstanding. The only thing on which I can't comment is the dessert because we were too full to have dessert. I totally recommend Irons, would and will return. Just know that some things seem to be prepped and pre-cooked. Which can be better if you're open to that. Like the fried Brussels Sprouts. Give them to me reheated and hot every time! The portions were generous and we took leftovers back to the room.
