I ordered the Eggs Benedict off the Bruch Menu and everything was very good. Prices are a bit high but I know it's because the cost of food has gone up. New classic American bistro opened in Pleasant View Village recently so we had to check it out. There's a range of options - unique appetizers, healthy options, burgers and sandwiches and some yummy sounding entrees like Salmon, Fish n Chips and even steak. The atmosphere is nice. Thankfully they painted after the last restaurant that was in that location. It felt crisp, clean and new. Also, they thankfully purchased new tables and chairs. There is a bar area that you can sit in if you don't want to sit at one of the tables. The service was good. We only waited about a minute to be seated and had a really good waiter who was attentive. Since it was lunch, we opted for sandwiches. I had the BLT and he had the chicken sandwich - both with the house cut fries. We were provided the choice of sourdough or sundried tomato bread. The sundried tomato bread sounded good so we both chose that. The BLT wasn't bad - the bacon was a lot thicker and a little too chewy for a BLT. I typically like thin and crispy bacon on my BLT and they forgot the mayo. I had asked for ranch dressing for my fries so I just used it to dip my sandwich in. He wasn't exactly blown away by the chicken sandwich. He asked for plain and it came with lettuce and tomato which wasn't a huge deal so he took that off. He said the chicken was a little dry though, which can happen with grilled chicken. He said next time he would just get the fried chicken since that's harder to mess up. The food once we got it was good. The service was slow due to untrained staff and underage staff ( at least that is how it seemed) in a place that serves alcohol. There was no full time bar staff at 6pm on a Friday. There was one woman who was obviously trying to direct the rest of the staff in lauding the kitchen to keep things moving and organized. I tipped her cash, she deserved it. Kids meals : Spaghetti - way too much sauce unless you want it all over your tables and chairs. For children less is more. Adult meals: Fish and chips was good. Salmon Caesar salad very good. Good portion size. Well cooked. I would try it again after some time for the management to work with staffing. read more

Food: 1- twisted burger with American cheese, and fries. 1- grilled chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries 1- chicken tenders 1- coke 1- sweet tea 1- Riesling = $65.00 Service: After looking at the drink placard on the table, Wife ordered a Riesling. 5 minutes later, waitress comes back and says we don't have that. I asked you don't have it, but it is on the placard? She replied... we must be out. So wife orders a Chardonnay. 20 minutes go by, and have to get waitresses attention to ask about the glass of wine. I see her talking to bartender. Waitress comes back and says bartender didn't see the order. 5 minutes later another lady ( assume Mgr), comes and says, they have Chardonnay but it isn't cold, and ask would we like to try something else? I said well, she originally ordered a Riesling, but waitress said you didn't have any. The lady said oh, we have that. glass of wine finally arrived, half way thru the meal. Waitress was slow to check on table, and refill glasses. Impression, lots of younger workers with no training or maybe guidance. Something not, expected..... was seeing a waitress eating at the bar, then also serving food/behind the bar.- no hand washing before interacting with customers while eating. While all agreed their food was ok, it was not worth making the drive for, when pass by other places with same or better food that is closer by. Was disappointed with quantity of food for the price. The fries are semi spiraled chips, and I had exactly 4 pieces on my plate. Burger was decent size, but when waitress brought it out, she said I don't know why they did not put anything on it ( lettuce, tomato, pickle etc...) While it wasn't horrible, there is nothing that makes me want to go back, when I can get better elsewhere for same price. read more

This place is perfect! The food was phenomenal and beyond what you would expect. Burger was cooked to perfection! The service was extraordinary; our server was a nice young lady who was also a teacher at an elementary school...very nice and didn't have to ask for anything! The setting was nice and quiet, despite the open seating arrangement. We would definitely drive 35 minutes one way to eat here again! read more

Food was scrumptious with plenty of country favorites such as biscuits & gravy, and healthier options as well. Server was polite, efficient, and adorable! Ambience was clean, and fresh, with big bright windows. Surrounding area was cool too. Lots of easy parking. We will definitely be back as it is fairly close to Nashville airport. read more

I'm not sure what all the hype is. We arrived in the morning around eleven. Coffee was see through weak like 3x used grounds were used. I ordered the avocado sandwich but asked for mayo instead of chipotle mayo because I can't do spicy. So this one change left this sandwich to be two slices of not even melted cheese on it with a half of an avocado in between. Not grilled enough to melt the cheese. I had to ask for a couple slices of tomato to make it even palatable. The STEAK fries listed on the menu turned out to be run of the mill crinkle cut fries. They weren't even hot and I wouldn't have wanted them had I known they WEREN'T steak fries. All in all it was a near $40 experience that we truly wished we, living on retirement funds could take back. You couldn't pay me to go back. My friend had the salad that's listed on the menu right above the sandwich that I ordered. It too was bland. I'd seen raves on the app Nextdoor about this place. It was freezing in there. We sat at the table near the window and had to ask for the music to be turned down because we couldn't hear one another speak. The choice of music was loud and annoying... not even peaceful background music. Neither one of us would go back. We were very disappointed. Give me a meat and three anytime over this sort excuse for food. Ate lunch today. I had the grilled chicken sandwich which was good. The fries were one of my favorite things. Hubs had the BLT and sweet potato tots. He likes it as well. Was charged an extra dollar for the tots instead of fries. Daughter had chicken tenders and she was pleased. I think it's slightly overpriced but I think that's the nature of the beast now.
