After we ordered she went outside with the lady and left us alone except for kitchen staff. The inside was deserted. Outside they were busy with window decorations . Ceiling fans were turned on and made for uncomfortable seating. My wife finally got up and asked someone from the back to please turn the fans down. Server still not inside when she finally came in and brought our food no conversation just quiet. I finally got up and went to the bar as the new shift was coming in and several ladies were present. I simply stated the fans had to go or we would have to go outside to dine. Server finally said I tried to turn them down. She said they were getting set up for the evening. I stated that we were the only customers and we would be leaving shortly and they could turn fans back on. I paid with Apple Pay and requested a receipt. When we were leaving I took my wife's tea to the counter and requested it be to go. The lady took care of it and I requested my receipt which they clearly forgot. I asked if they could see the reviews from the device I used to pay and I was told they could not. That prompted this review. Still the food was great as always. I have been here many times and today was not up to par with service. I felt like I was not appreciated as a customer and to a degree ignored. The two advantages of the dine in experience would be the machine that can select many different varieties of Coke products. Also it's often said your food comes out quicker at inside, but this could all be conjecture. We have never had a bad experience in several years except when the line wraps around the building during rush times. It's right off the I-24 and easy to get to, but be mindful of the tank trap style potholes near the Shell Station entrance.
