I haven't been to a Denny's in a number of years, mostly due to their mediocre food and bad service. This Denny's doesn't disappoint. Walked in on a Saturday night and the place was not even remotely busy. Was seated immediately and waited, and waited, and waited. Finally, my waitress came by and took my drink order (water and a milkshake - not terribly difficult). She brought my water fairly quickly but it took 15-20 minutes for a milkshake. She didn't return again for my meal order until AFTER my milkshake was ready. I waited almost an hour between being seated and waiting for my meal - which never came. I finally got up and left. Denny's ain't bad. Pancakes are very good. They have a two dollar section on their menu and you can actually sate your hunger for two bucks ! That's if you drink water. I resent paying 2/3 dollars for coffee or tea that costs ten cents. Matter of fact, any breakfast that costs ten bucks in a commercial venue can be made at home for a dollar, usually. This location is always slow in service and the food coming out. I haven't had a good experience here. I've stopped going.

I have always liked Denny's. I have been to many of them around the country and this Denny's here is always a pleasure to stop and have a great meal. Service has always been great but sometimes they can be a little busy and under staffed, but this Denny's is at a truck stop, so I at least expect it to be slow some times. The best time I found is anytime early morning until about 0700 then they will start getting busy. read more

Service was great. Food was good. I got a double cheeseburger with swiss cheese and mushrooms, it was huge!

This particular Denny's isn't the worst out there but it does have its issues. Service is friendly but terribly slow at times. The absolute worst time to go is after 8pm because it takes about 1 hour to get your food and another to get your check. food isn't bad if they get your order correct. I believe the problem with this place is their high turn over rate, not enough trained at once. read more

If you're looking for bad food, and poor management this is the place to go. We got a dead bug in our food, and had to wait over half an hour while they figured stuff out. They had to call in a manager, for her to call the store manager, for us to talk to the store manager. This place is just ridiculous. read more

Walked in while traveling thru the area. Was greeted by the host about 1:30pm on a Sunday. Plenty of open seats, but was told it would be at least 30 minutes because they just had a couple of large groups come thru. I'm not impressed that they can't handle regular customers and groups at the same time. We ate elsewhere... read more

I Walked into Denny's approx 6:40 to have breakfast ... and there was a young lady fidgeting with something behind the counter..I said good morning BC she never great or addressed me as one would expect a hostess or server does upon entering an establishment...when it appeared as if she was completing her task behind the counter I asked if she was ready to take my order and she said no somebody else would be with me soon then she proceeded rush to the back of the restaurant ...so I grabbed a menu and sat myself in a booth near the front of the establishment ... I waited approx 5 minutes or so and nobody came out to great me ... meanwhile another customer walked someone immediately sprang from the back and came up front to great him and sat him in the back of the restaurant.... While I'm still waiting to be served more then 5 minutes later I sat in shook as I watched him being served immediately with beverages and a menu while his order was being taken... approx 2 minutes later an older lady walked in and ince again another service ran from the back of the restaurant to meet and great this older lady... at which I interrupted her attempt to service this older lady and I requested the manager...he casualky strolled out front the back of the restaurant himself within 2 to 3 minutes of my request as if I were inconveniencing him and I proceeded to explain to him what transpired in his establishment and his only response was he was a forced nonchalant apology and would I like to place an order ??!! And I responded by saying absolutely not amd as a matter of fact I will I never eat at Denny's again after everything I witnessed!!!! and requested his name and the name of the lady that originally told me I would receive service upon my arrival... I asked for the information corporates information so this lack of good business practice and etiquette can be addressed... I was also floored when realized this lady that promised me service was only concerned with her shift ending so she was not the least bit concerned about me eating or receiving any manner of proper service when I walk into your establishment like countless other consumers ( African Americans, Mexican Americans.
