Not so good customer service. If I'm going to pay 25+ dollars to eat here, I expect awesome customer; sadly, we didn't. The waiter, a mexican guy (I think named Isaac) was an older guy, and I would see him on his phone. I know it's Dennys, but I've had better customer service at other Dennys. I probably won't be going back to this location; my money spent would've been better at Souplantation. The avocado Burger hardly had flavor. The taste of the red onions over powered the burger. This location needs to be refreshed. It's dirty, smelly and just plain worn out. Typical Denny's quality. Our server was friendly and attentive. Not a fan of the build a burger menu. I wouldn't come back unless they give the place a deep clean. read more

Very disappointed in their changes to the crispy chicken salad. It no longer comes with a side of garlic toast which was standard before. My son also noticed the lack of croutons that were always present before. To top it off, the price has gone up. Not very happy. Their ranch was excellent as usual. read more

The food from the cooks and the service from the servers are great (2 stars). The management here is horrible! I get coupons from Denny's sent to my email. This is the only Denny's that does not honor the coupons from your phone. Annoying! The manager will not even make an exception! I got the lava cake with a friend and it was completely disgusting! Me and my friend that accompanied me, order two separate ones and they were both disgusting! And I let the waiter know and he was like "oh" and I let him know it was gross and tasted microwaved and he said "we do microwave it to save time!" It was insanely disgusting And we let the guy ringing us up know we didn't have a good experience with the food and he wasn't too friendly and didn't ask what was wrong. I work in customer service and one of our mottos is to listen, apologize, solve and thank. This location is by far, my favorite Denny's. I take my 86 year old mother here, at least three times a week. Mom says "it feels like family" there. I would also like to comment on the managers, who should be commended, along with the waiters, waitresses, and every other employee, who go above and beyond to make sure your dining experience is nice. This Denny's is my favorite: kind waiters and waitresses, a just upgraded exterior makes it snazzy, and the service is always terrific. I must say that at Denny's Diner I feel crowded and rushed, whereas this Denny's is a real RESTaurant with a spacious dining room. Many times we have come to this Denny's to enjoy a meal and to provide a venue for me to math tutor with my teens in the evenings. I give it 3 stars because it's hard to find something that is not fatty on the menu - but I must say the food is always tasty! read more

Love this place! The manager is very welcoming and really seems to care about his patrons. The last couple of weekends I've been in with my family, the wait staff has been very prompt and attentive. So on the norm this Denny's on Navajo is a decent place to eat. Day crew wait staff gets 5 stars. However I am writing this review as I'm sitting here at 130am with an empty cup. Our waiter this a.m. is always terrible. I can see why he works the 3rd shift here at Denny's. If he worked any other time of day he would chase away all the customers. Right now I can hear him BSing in the back with the cooks while the ice is melting in my drink cup. The waitress that sat us in this guys section is also wandering around....oh scratch that she's now sitting in a booth next to us on the phone instead of helping us out while our inattentive waiter is doing nothing. I came in around 715am to have breakfast with my son before he had school. The waitress Janet was in the front and pretty busy so she sat us in the back and said our waitress would be with us. After waiting 10mins no one showed up so I walked up front and asked Janet if she could help us and she did promptly. She was walking back and fourth to check on us when even with all of her guests in front. The waitress that was supposed to help us comes out of the bathroom after a while like no big deal lol. In my opinion , the pancake house is better. I have been to Denny's through out my life, but lately the customer service sucks. both last times I have been to Denny , they ordered my order wrong. I waited 40 minutes while the place was practically empty just to receive my order wrong. The first time I did not get mad. Morning service is great,even excellent. Evenings? Not so much. Horrible as a matter of fact. I basically had to go cook my own meal and get my own refills.(exaggerating here) But seriously though,we were in a section of many tables and everyone else was getting service except us. The "server"literally walks by us and ignores us. I'm wondering if we smell or something! Anyhow,my husband had to get up and ask the "manager" (who seems to be very entertained with his phone) for a soda refill. The man didn't even take his cup,he just looked at him and asked who his server was. No wonder your employees suck. Now we are officially done with our meal,no server yet. I'm assuming at this point that the meal is free. Anyway,if you come to this restaurant around 6:30pm and get Javier as your server..RUN!!! He doesn't like Mexicans. Lol. So we won't be going here anymore. It was my birthday and we decided to go for breakfast. My boyfriend and I get seated and the guy comes to take our order. I say that I would like the grand slam and that it was my birthday and asked about the free grand slam. He said it was fine and my boyfriend orders his own grand slam. The guy didn't even say happy birthday but it was whatever. So we wait forever for our meal and finally he comes over with our sides and says he'll be right back with the pancakes. It's about 20 mins we saw no sign of him in our section, we see him bring people who were there after us get their entire meals and finally were able to flag him down. He realizes he never got our pancakes and we're basically full because we are all our sides so we tell him to forget the pancakes and to just bring us our check. We get the check and go up to pay and we tell the lady what happened and says sorry, but has the nerve to ask if we want to leave a tip. I personally didn't even think we should of paid for any of it, but my boyfriends not like that. So we pay for the full price of his grand slam and leave, but agreed we'll never return again. read more

I would just like to say I received outstanding service by a waitress named Clare, the restaurant was very busy but well staffed and operating good. There was no wait for a table, I was seated very quickly and offered and provided with drinks as soon as I sat down, I never once had to try and flag down my waitress, she would stop by and ask frequently if I needed more coffee, the coffee tasted great and was served hot like I like it. The food was also served hot, I ordered the southern slam and the biscuits were good with hot sausage gravy and hot and crispy bacon. I give this restaurant a 5 out of 5 stars rating and will continue to go to this Denny's. I know some people think it's the end of the world if their dining experience is bad, on the other hand when I go to this Denny's it the beginning of another great day read more

Fast and friendly service, burgers were excellently charbroiled, even big and juicy enough for my teen. Good portion of fries, pancake/topping, etc. Food cooked just right and served hot. We have a neighborhood Denny's we like in Seattle area, but this one beat it by far. read more

Now let me start off by saying yes this is a Denny's so the food isn't life changing it's no where close to 5 star quality, however the staff is amazing!!! My waiter Domingo was amazing the service he gave to both myself and my five year old son was what I have come to except when we are spending over one hundred dollars on a plate not seven dollars. When we got up to pay our bill I'm assuming it was the manager took our check and was extremely pleasant, he had been chatting with what I'm also assuming were the regulars and seemed like a wonderful either manager or owner he was in green while the rest of the staff was wearing black which is why I'm assuming he was the manager. When I told him about the excellent service I had just received from Domingo he was very fast to compliment him on his service skills. I can honestly say this is the best Denny's I have ever gone to that is what my five star rating is based on. Of course the hash browns and coffee will be amazing at any Denny's but the owner of this particular franchise is doing an outstanding job on ensuring his entire staff is wonderful, like I said I would have expected the amount of service from a very upscale restaurant. read more

First, there was an older couple 5mins into us getting here shouting for the waiter that seated us which was named (Javier) for the bill smh. (Javier) hasn't even checked on us and its been 15min now. Why did it take the bus boy to take our drinks and on top of that, he even noticed the two waiters that were working not serving us, or even attempting to ask of we were ok. So Ofcourse he took our order to. The waiter who seated us was on his phone on the other side of the restaurant while the girl was counting her tips. Worst Denny's I've ever been too!! Thank God for the bus boy (Juan) who took care of us and seeing how long it took his coworkers to NEVER come and check on us not once! The bus boy even asked the chick why we haven't been served, her response was she didnt know we were over here?? Wtf!!? While were eating people start coming and the girl finally starts seeing what they want to get. Next a couple sits across from us and the same thing happens another bus boy serves their drinks!! This Denny's had the worst customer service I have ever received from any other Denny's franchise! My two friends and I waited 15 minutes before we had to call our server over to remind her to take our order. We then watched Janet the waitress at the time take an order from a party of 8, and then watched her bring out each of of there orders, we then waited 15 more minutes and never received our food. We ordered first, and still ended up waiting 45 minutes for two appetizers that we never received. 45 minutes is a long time to be waiting for chicken strips and quesadillas. To top off this experience we were not the only ones who were left waiting! An elderly couple who was there before us waited longer than we did just for two stacks of pancakes. As we were leaving we informed them that we were still waiting for our food. The waitress looked confused as if she did not put in our order. She did not even attempt to apologize read more

Admittedly I am not the type of person who frequents Denny's, but there are those late night occasions where you are with a group of people and you find yourself in such an establishment. I was looking over the menu and for some reason the T-bone steak just sounded good at the time. Upon arrival of my meal I found a few questionable things my steak had a gray hue to it when I ordered it medium. The real problem seemed to be that the steak was only a 1/4 inch thick, so it is basically impossible to cook it to anything but well done. The texture of the meat seemed off as well I ended up not eating much of it all. Stick to breakfast foods when eating here you'll probably fare better. read more

We are fans of the Navajo Denny's now because of Kelly!!! We've had many years of experience with Denny's but we have to say that Kelly is the WAITRESS of all WAITRESSES! She will make sure your order is exactly how you want it. She treats you like you are the only person in the restaurant. My son and I were visiting family in the area and decided to meet with his grandparents at this family restaurant since it was closest to their home and they frequent this establishment. Sadly we as a whole family and extended family and everyone else I spread the word to will not be dining here anymore after our experience. This had nothing to do with the food as we never even got the chance to eat because we were asked to leave by the manager due to one of my children who is 18 months old and has special needs and was playing and screaming so other patrons at this place started to complain. I am sorry but children will be children and when I have been at a family establishment or not I have never been so upset at a child so much as to treat them or their family in such a way. If a child was too loud I simply removed myself because I am the adult in the situation and realize kids are just kids and they are loud. Society expects kids to be medicated and quieted and had I realized that Denny's was not a family oriented establishment I would never have brought my family here to begin with. This all took place in 15 min. from arrival to being asked to leave. The server was delayed in taking our orders so we preoccupied him with toys we brought and his bottle. He then got restless as children that young do and we were in the process of going through the steps to calm him in a nurturing way so he can learn not yell at him or just dismiss him by leaving immediately. We like to teach and nurture our children not hide them away from the world until they are "acceptable" for others. We were paying customers and were discriminated against for having a young NORMAL child with special needs and then ostracized. They neither tried to offer a coloring book as sometimes I have experienced at other places nor did the server or manager go anywhere near smiling and try to ease the situation. I will be writing Denny's about this experience as well. read more

So we went in today at 10 pm and were served by Vanessa, (i believe was her name she was working the bar area this evening)after 15-20 minutes of waiting to order i got an omlete with cheddar cheese, and my friends ordered a smoothie to share....after quite a while we got our food. My omlete has american cheese on it and so i politely ask for cheddar she says "okay?" Walks away and comes back and says "so you dont want american you just want swiss right?" "No i want cheddar" "so no american or swiss though?" REALLY?! She came back with my chocolate lava cake and new omlete and tossed the cake on the tavle and it almost spilled on me and dropped the plate on the table very rudely. (this whole time my friends still havent gotten their smothie) so i decide against the omlete since it looked rushed and was literally missing the bottom half, when i lifted ir to check the cheese it was only cheese and plate no bottom layer of egg...my friends also cancelled the smoothie sijce by the time everyone was done they still hadn't gotten it. (Want to add that there were many other So we go to pay and since it's the manager (who wasnt wearing a name tag) taking our checks i decide to inform him that the service was terrible and the food was poorly made and he says "so....okay, im sorry?" Like i was troubling him by letting him know what was wrong in his restaurant.....so anyway i have come here with my husband during the day in the past and had good food and service but every single time i have gone to ANY dennys after 10 pm food and service has been terrible....if your store is going to be open 24 hours a day you should make sure it is good all the time not just the first half of the day. read more
