Very Disappointing Experience I went to Denny's to redeem my birthday Value Slam, and I was really excited to celebrate with my spouse. Unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing from beginning to end. First, we waited 30 minutes just to get seated. Once we finally got a table, we ordered orange juice. I remember Denny's having fresh-tasting orange juice, but what we were served was nothing like that. It tasted extremely artificial, overly processed, and had an unnatural-looking color. Honestly, even supermarket orange juice tastes better. Then my Value Slam arrived, while my spouse ordered a Caesar salad. The lettuce in the salad was not fresh at all. There were numerous pieces with brown discoloration, and some of it looked like it was already starting to turn. It was really unpleasant. After breakfast, I went to the women's bathroom, and unfortunately, it was extremely dirty and smelled terrible. There was feces smeared on the floor and on the toilet/seat area. I immediately reported it to the host. She seemed genuinely surprised and told me she didn't know about it and that they would take care of it. Unfortunately, the problems didn't end there. After we left, my stomach started hurting and continued to hurt and growl for the rest of the day. I had only eaten the Value Slam--hash browns, two eggs, and two pieces of bacon. Overall, Denny's is not what it used to be. The quality of the food, cleanliness, and overall experience have seriously declined. I went there expecting a nice birthday breakfast with my spouse, but instead I left extremely disappointed and feeling sick. We will not be returning to Denny's. Sadly, it feels like the quality has been downgraded across the board for profit. read more

I rarely have breakfast at 7am before going work so today must've been a special occasion. Because of the fact that it was so early in the morning, the only choice really was just Denny's or iHop since the other restaurants usually opens after 8am. Pros: Plenty of parking spaces as they are within the same plaza as Target. Restaurant was SO clean. Maybe it was still early but it seemed to be way too clean to be a Denny's. Very wallet friendly breakfast options. I am not a big eater in the morning. So, it was nice to see them offering breakfast of 2 eggs (any style), hash brown, and a side of toast for only $5.99. Cons: The host / manager wasn't too friendly. No greeting upon walking into the restaurant, and while I was paying, he just walked away from the register, where I had to get my own receipt. He wasn't rude - but he gave off a weird vibe. The French Toast we ordered was a bit too burnt. We ended up not finishing it. Despite the restaurant appearing to be almost spotless, the condiments on the table were quite yucky...old dried ketchup on the pepper shaker, anyone? Overall, I think Denny's is a great option for grabbing a quick meal. read more

Nice Denny's store in Duarte. I come here every so often, and annually to claim the Veterans day breakfast. The staff is nice, and they get the food out to you promptly. I can't tell you much about the variety of choices because I always drawn back to the (can't go wrong) Slam breakfast! read more

Senior citizen reporting: at this location there is a huge parking lot with two spots for handicap parking! It's also located right across from target. It has the same retro 1970's decor style which I enjoy! It's open 24 seven. The food is good and affordable. However when I was able to FINALLY SPEAK, with The Director Of Operations Laurence Ali, He was able to step in, correct, apologize, and ensure me that he would speak to those who I felt mistreated the situation in the first place!! This is the kind of courtesy, sympathy, and general respect that Dennys has always treated us with before in the past! I couldn't understand why what happened, happened! Mr. Laurence insured me that he would speak to lower management so that this kind of thing wouldn't happen to myself and others!! Sometimes situations just require a little compassion!! I hadn't been to Denny's in years but I have to say this location has excellent food. The hamburgers and fries are amazing. My hairdresser had told me to get a chocolate shake when I went. I tried it and I have to say it was probably one of the best chocolate shakes I've ever had.
