Well done patty made to perfection with cheese perfectly melted

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. I NOW LOVE THE DIXON LOCATION!!! Vacaville Dennys got nothing on this spot. I will definitely be coming back. Everything I look for when I walk into a restaurant perfectly met my expectations * super clean (I.e tables, floor, bathroom, even kitchen and behind the counter seemed clean from where I sat) *super attentive server (Will definitely ask for Andy every single time I come) He constantly made sure my drink was filled and didn't need anything else. Even watched his interactions with other tables and he had a smile every single time he walked up and even made some cute kids laugh. (Even the other server Oscar seemed super attentive to his tables and kept a smile on his face. *food was absolutely delicious and cooked better than what I hoped for. (Ordered what I usually do in Vacaville and the cook here knocked it out of the park, even had to get her name ... Elodia btw) What more can I ask for when spending hard earned money and going out for a good meal?? Amazing service all around while dining here.

Black Pants, Black Shirt, No Name Tag, No Uniform. 2:24AM Received order went home. 2:30AM Arrived home, checked food. Wrong order. Missing onions. Missing pickles. 2:40AM Returned to Denny's. Returned uneaten, untouched food, requested refund. Danielle P. said; "I can't give you a refund, you have to come back at 6AM, and talk to the manager. I started walking to the manager's office, and Danielle said: "I'm calling the cops". I left with the food, and receipt to return at 6AM. - Danielle P. taught me a valuable lesson. Do not pay for your order until you have checked it's correct. No refunds.

Service was great, no complaints about that. I come to this location quite often when my parents come to visit me since I live in Davis. The other day, I ordered the Fit Slam and our server asked if I wanted to add Avocado and i said sure, aware that i'd be paying extra for it. When the food arrived, i couldn't eat half the avocado because it was black. Not black as in oxidized, but as in overripe and spoiled. (see attached photo). I knew i was paying extra and would have been happy to do so for some edible avocado.

Came in early this morning. When we got there there was no one else dining at the time. The gal that sat us was super nice, we asked how her day was going and it was actually the end of her shift! So awesome to be so friendly even at the end of a graveyard shift. Our server was Oscar, he has really great customer service. I ordered the lumberjack slam and I substituted my regular pancakes for the cinnamon roll pancakes, they were amazing! My fiancé got the county fried steak breakfast. Got our order pretty fast and it was very good! :)

I had the pleasure of trying their banana, blueberry, and strawberry pancakes, and I must say, they exceeded all expectations, this is like my 50th time . Beside pancakes their menu is pretty good ! Let's start with the texture. These pancakes are flawlessly fluffy, with a light and practically melts in your mouth. Each bite is a delightful balance between a soft interior and a slightly crisp edge imo. let's talk about the taste. The combination of the sweet bananas, tangy blueberries, and juicy strawberries creates a symphony of flavors it is literally so healthy , and compared to IHOP pancake it's just better . ( I have heard the opposite but I hop is more about quantity then quality). And yes I saw the waitress freshly cut my fruits :) What sets Denny's pancakes apart is not only their impeccable texture and taste but also their affordability. At just around $6, you get a stack of pancakes that will leave you feeling fully satisfied. If you ask to remove the sides . It's a fantastic deal considering the quality and generous portion size. I love Denny as an All American restaurant !

We had about a 10-15 minute wait, which honestly wasn't bad considering how busy they were. The menu had a lot of great-looking options. Two friends ordered the chicken fried steak, another ordered a veggie/Mediterranean-style omelet, and I had the carnitas huevos rancheros since I'm gluten-free. Portions were generous and the food was good, though not necessarily something I'd rave about. The biggest issue during our visit was the service. Drinks and ordering started off fine, but when the food came out only two of the four meals arrived. My friend and I ended up waiting quite a while longer and had to flag someone down to check on our meals. We were told the ticket must have gotten mixed up and our food would be out shortly. By the time our dishes arrived, our other friends were basically done eating. One side order was also forgotten. To their credit, they did remove that item and gave us 50% off the delayed dishes, which we appreciated. I completely understand that busy restaurants can get hectic, but better communication and table follow-up would have made a huge difference. Overall, cute spot with decent food and good portions -- just hoping the service experience improves.

He was moving extremely fast and quoting exaggerated wait times, which was off-putting and set an awkward tone at the start. That said, everything quickly changed once Nadia took over as our server. She was absolutely amazing from the very beginning. Even though the restaurant was busy and the food took some time to come out--which was understandable--Nadia communicated with us throughout the wait and checked in often to make sure everything was running smoothly. When the food arrived, she was fast, efficient, and impressive. I was genuinely surprised by how many plates one person could carry. She was warm, welcoming, and an absolute sweetheart who made us feel right at home and completely turned the experience around. Overall, we left happy and full. Despite the rough start, Nadia made it all okay. We will definitely be back, and we will absolutely be requesting Nadia next time.

Love the theme inside the restaurant, felt as if I were in a cabin with all the cute bear decor. Even the menu matched the theme since they were meant to be like newspapers. Specials are available too. There was quite an extensive menu of brunch, lunch, and everything in between. I love that there was a section of light bites as I wasn't really hungry. I opted for the one of the light entrees and it came with 2 strips of bacon, eggs, broccoli, and bread. Everything was cooked just right, not too greasy or dry. I had a few bites of the onion rings, and that was great too. Service was fine and as expected. Ample parking in the lot or street parking. Overall, I had a great impression of Black Bear Diner and would be open to checking out their other locations closer to home. #32/2025

Sometimes I crave just meat and cheese and no veggies which they serve. They also serve a ham & egg scramble which is eggs and diced ham. The food portion sizes are also large. One can easily share a meal if you are a lite breakfast eater. The sour dough toast slices were even large as well as my croissant. I ordered BLTA croissant, which is BLT and Avocado. Thick slices of tomato, avocado, and crisp iceberg lettuce with lite mayo spread and comes with your choice of sides. I choose French fries but they have a rosemary breakfast potato I stared to get but maybe next time for sure. My fries were served hot & crispy (not hard). The size of my croissant and mountain of fries covered my entire plate. There is a wait but it is worth every minute. Service is superb. The prices are very reasonable. I also had the peach mango mimosas called Da Bomb! And it was indeed. I got a nice buzz it was cold and refreshing. And not served in a narrow flute glass for only $11. I didn't need a second glass and probably would have stumbled my way out if I had. I've been traveling between Napa and Sacramento for monthly brunches for the past five years. It's a family tradition adopted following the pandemic. Most restaurants that I choose is based on the menu items. Oh and another entrée the Heritage serves is loaded grits. This and the meat lovers omelette caught my attention. Our tab plus beverage and tax for table of two was under $45. If you are a breakfast lover and want a nice breakfast meal in a cozy cafe located in downtown Vacaville where the price is right - you don't want to miss out. There's also out door dining. I don't know the history behind this place or how they been around but this was like finding a gold mine. Not sure how other businesses in the area can compete. Again it's a small cozy spot, warm house atmosphere, not noisy, and once seated food comes faster than the wait time. Excellent customer service. If I was a regular breakfast eater I think I could eat here everyday. I could surly afford it and that's a fact. Well Mac Donald's breakfast is fast and inexpensive and that's the only comparison. There's one restaurant chain I will no longer bother to dine at now that I've been to Heritage House Cafe. If you care not to try Heritage cafe for yourself that's okay. This keeps wait time shorter. lol. Seriously I think you will enjoy their meals, the atmosphere, great service and sparkling mimosas'
