Came here for lunch and it was my first time here in years. It wasn't super busy, but business was still going good. We were going to sit at a table in the back, but there was a fly issue in that area so our server recommended we sit near the entrance which we did. I found it interesting that our server commented "you will be dealing with those flies all afternoon if you sit there" as if joking around, but I didn't think it was funny. We started off with the brown sugar bourbon wings. They were nice and hot when we got them, but the flavor of the rub left a bit to be desired. The burgers were good. First time me and wife here at Brass Tap. Unfortunately we dont drink but very impressive assortment of beer, wine, cocktails. We came here to try the food I had There Fish & Chips my wife had a side ceasar salad. Well I will start with fish and chips aolie,tarter sauce were on point very tasty. The fish is a cod hand breaded there , not over battered fish was nice and moist and flaky. Im going to give it a double thumbs up portion size was good for the price fries good. My plate was not real greasy like some fish and chips which I love. Wife said Ceasar salad was crisp and fresh great price of $6.00 a good portion. Dressing was really good we thought it was house made, very tasty. Our waitress Jineque was very informative answering all my questions and a great attitude. Nothing worse than having a bad waitress that dont like her job. So hats off to her makes us want to be returning customers. I was surprised to see the owner Danny come over and introduce himself and made us feel really comfortable making sure everything is up to par. I highly recommend this place and will be coming back. We didn't realize that we were having brunch at a sports bar, so when we walked in, we were surprised. There were a lot of people there on a Sunday morning and we'd just missed the bottomless mimosas (which ends at 12PM), so we each decided to get the flights. The pour was decent, but there was a lot of juice and they ran out of flight stands, so one of us just got the glasses separately. We decided to order from the regular menu since the brunch menu was lackluster. We came here as we were staying in Vacaville for the night. Overall it was a good experience, our server, Quentin, was helpful and attentive. It was a bit difficult to order pizza for kids. We couldn't order a cheese pizza with olives nor get olives on the side....ended up riding a plain cheese pizza. We ordered a 10 piece chicken wing... asked for mainly flats and were told no, they don't do that. The flavors were really good- lemon pepper and buffalo. We always have a great time and amazing service with the Brass Tap ladies! Drinks are cold, food is always great, however in this heat, our servers struggle, especially in this California weather. As a guest I see the ladies sweating and work extra hard. We love having the garage door open and enjoying great weather. Personally, I feel if there were moisture wicking shirts or a form of tank top this would allow the servers to not look so distressed during these California heat waves. I personally would love to rock a Brass Tap tank top for the summertime to help advertise as well as see our servers with some relief in this heat. We love our ladies and want to see them comfortable so service is way beyond amazing of what they already serve. After the recent heatwave Casey and Janique rocked the house with service. This was my first one at this establishment. It is nicely appointed as a sports bar and the service was friendly and the service persons regularly check in the see if the table needed anything. As for the food my plate was standard fish & Chips there was an abundance of French fries (Chips) but the fish was not as tasty as I've had in other establishments and a little on the tuff side, I had a hard time chewing or breaking down the fish. Over all I liked the place but will choose finger food like burgers, chicken strips and maybe the All American Breakfast. I'll visit again read more
