My wife and I went here for a late dinner and beer after watching a play. We got there around 945pm The staff was wonderful and very friendly and helpful. Lots of smiles and helpful, considering this was our first time there. My wife loves ciders, and they had several on tap, and they let her try some, and man, were they good. She finally chose one, and I had a light Ale, which, of course, they had lots of on tap. Fantastic selection. The food was over the top and very good and fresh. My wife got the steak nachos, and we shared a mac & cheese balls with pulled pork appetizer. I had the Chicken Caesar salad. Very yummy. The place was clean (so were the bathrooms), lots and lots of tv's and really just a great place to go. We will definitely go back, according to my wife and I. read more

The Brass Tap - Steak Nachos. Very yummy - Beer Bar Near Me - Vacaville, California

Greasy fried pickles, greasy fries, frozen chicken on the Caesar salad ($17 upcharge? What a joke.) The sunrise spritz was actually disgusting. Loud interior. Only men, probably only 4 women in the whole establishment. Would never go again. read more

Came here for lunch and it was my first time here in years. It wasn't super busy, but business was still going good. We were going to sit at a table in the back, but there was a fly issue in that area so our server recommended we sit near the entrance which we did. I found it interesting that our server commented "you will be dealing with those flies all afternoon if you sit there" as if joking around, but I didn't think it was funny. We started off with the brown sugar bourbon wings. They were nice and hot when we got them, but the flavor of the rub left a bit to be desired. The burgers were good. I got the sweet heat bbq burger, and honestly it was more sweet because I didn't pick up any heat. The fries were okay. It seems like an alright spot to grab a beer and catch the game. I didn't have any beer, but they do have a nice variety of choices available. read more

This is our go to spot for lunch or early dinner. Kids have their favorites which is always a plus. U get the salad and it never disappoints, a hate it when I find witty lettuce and I do not get that her! Add chicken and it's yummy. My husband always gets a burger, I think my favorite is the guac burger. read more

Normally our experience with Brass Tap is okay but today it was surprisingly horrible. The waiters didn't pay any attention to us, were busy socializing with another table that had their friends sitting there, and were quite frankly, rude. To top off our experience, when we got our food a long black hair was in the shrimp. They even still charged us for the shrimp. Do better brass tap. read more

We didn't realize that we were having brunch at a sports bar, so when we walked in, we were surprised. There were a lot of people there on a Sunday morning and we'd just missed the bottomless mimosas (which ends at 12PM), so we each decided to get the flights. The pour was decent, but there was a lot of juice and they ran out of flight stands, so one of us just got the glasses separately. We decided to order from the regular menu since the brunch menu was lackluster. We got all types of food. -Boom Boom Shrimp 4/5 -Loaded fries with brisket 5/5 -Blackened cod taco 4/5 -Guacamole with chips -Traditional chicken wings (Nashville hot and lemon pepper) 3/5 The service was great. Our server was super attentive. The food was good, but nothing to brag about. It is your run-of-the-mill bar food, but good to have with drinks, which fit the occasion. If you're looking for a spot to watch sports whole having drinks and food, this is your place! read more

Came in for lunch this week and enjoyed the meal and service. Menu consists primarily of tacos, burgers, pizzas, chicken sandwiches and appetizers. We did not try the beer, but you can probably tell by the name they've got it! I ordered the chicken sandwich with a side salad and it was pretty good. Portions were large. My friend got the fish tacos and it was his second time having them. Ambiance is of a bar/pub spot, good music was playing and our waitress was friendly. read more

First time me and wife here at Brass Tap. Unfortunately we dont drink but very impressive assortment of beer, wine, cocktails. We came here to try the food I had There Fish & Chips my wife had a side ceasar salad. Well I will start with fish and chips aolie, tarter sauce were on point very tasty. The fish is a cod hand breaded there , not over battered fish was nice and moist and flaky. Im going to give it a double thumbs up portion size was good for the price fries good. My plate was not real greasy like some fish and chips which I love. Wife said Ceasar salad was crisp and fresh great price of $6.00 a good portion. Dressing was really good we thought it was house made, very tasty. Our waitress Jineque was very informative answering all my questions and a great attitude. Nothing worse than having a bad waitress that dont like her job. So hats off to her makes us want to be returning customers. I was surprised to see the owner Danny come over and introduce himself and made us feel really comfortable making sure everything is up to par. I highly recommend this place and will be coming back. Sorry if I spelled anyone's name. Was average noise for the place nice and clean great vibes read more

This is hands down our favorite place to grab a beer and some amazing food! We always suggest coming here when we get a group of friends together. My husband and I have been coming here for years - we have always had a great experience. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming - they take the time to get to know you. The food is consistently delicious and their food specials are always worth checking out! Great atmosphere, great people, and great beer! read more

We came here as we were staying in Vacaville for the night. Overall it was a good experience, our server, Quentin, was helpful and attentive. It was a bit difficult to order pizza for kids. We couldn't order a cheese pizza with olives nor get olives on the side....ended up riding a plain cheese pizza. We ordered a 10 piece chicken wing... asked for mainly flats and were told no, they don't do that. The flavors were really good- lemon pepper and buffalo. All the food was really good, just those couple of issues. A very nice couple by us overheard us talking about going to Ft Bragg. They offered several suggestions about where to eat and things to see! read more

Great place to dine in. Military/Veteran discount rule only applies on Mondays which was a bummer. And I came on a Wednesday. This was my first recommendation from a friend. For my first time arriving on a Wednesday, would be nice if they could have honored the discount. That was my determining factor for a friendly/customer service. Other wise, server & ambience was the best, and was check often on water refills. Food arrive fairly quick upon ordering. Would say about less than 15min. For discount days for situational awareness for fellow Yelpies out there is as follows: Mondays: Military/Veteran 15% off. Wednesday: Wine Wednesdays 15% off. Thursday: Medical & Fire responder Personnel 15% off. Friday: Teacher & Professor 15% off. Now the question is, will I be back? Off course. The food was great. I would've given a total 5 stars if the server would've given me the military discount weather if it's not Monday or not. But it is, what it is, I suppose. :) read more

Needed to find a place for me and the dog on the way back from Santa Cruz on the way home. Husband needed to attend a wedding rehearsal. Searched for dog friendly places close to the venue. Did not have any food. Parked in lot. Went directly to patio and sat with dog. My/our server was out on minutes. Brought dog a bowl of ice water. Offered menus. See photos. Patio is spacious and clean. Most of area in shade with umbrellas also available. Looks like it could be a happening spot later in the day. We were here around 4pm on a Monday. read more

The Brass Tap has become one of my favorite go to spots in Vacaville. From the moment you walk in, the service is incredibly nice and friendly, making you feel right at home. Ambiance & Seating: The atmosphere is a huge plus. It is open and inviting with a variety of seating options: a classic bar, high top tables, regular dining tables, and a really nice outdoor patio. The patio is especially well done with great furniture, decorations, and string lights that create a perfect setting for any evening. As a sports bar, the noise level inside is pretty loud and energetic, but that is fully expected and adds to the lively vibe. The Food: The food is consistently great. The portion sizes are just right, not too much and not too little. But you are sure to eat just a bit more than you planned since the food is so good. Here is a breakdown of what I have tried: - Bang Bang Shrimp: My absolute favorite appetizer. The shrimp are always perfectly crispy, and the bang bang sauce is what truly makes this dish incredible. A must order. - Burgers: They have never disappointed. A standout for me was the "BIGGY BBQ MAC BURGER." It was super decadent with mac and cheese bites right inside, and the portion was so large I had leftovers. - Mac and Cheese Balls: Another solid appetizer. They have a wonderfully crispy exterior that gives way to a hot, cheesy, and gooey center. - Fries: The fries are pretty good, though they can be a bit soggy sometimes. The flavor is still there, so they are enjoyable overall. Kid Friendly: They have great food options for kids, and I have seen plenty of full families enjoying meals here. Drinks: They have an impressive drink selection. My wife raved about the Espresso Martini, and my Vodka Redbull was mixed perfectly. For beer lovers, they have an extensive beer menu with a wide selection of types and flavors. You are almost guaranteed to find a brew you will love. Service & Groups: The service is not only friendly but also efficient. Even when they are busy, the servers communicate well if there is any delay and swiftly check on your orders. The space is great for families and bigger groups, though very large parties, say more than 10, might find it a bit challenging to get seated together. Location & Parking: The only minor drawback is the location. It is a bit on the edge of Vacaville, so it can feel far out from everything. However, the excellent prices and the high quality of the food you get completely outweigh this. Compared to other popular restaurants in the area, the value is outstanding. Plus, the parking lot is large and open, so you will never have trouble finding a spot. Overall: If you are looking for a place with a great ambiance, friendly service, delicious food, and a huge drink selection, The Brass Tap is the place to be. It is a standout spot in Vacaville that I highly recommend and will keep coming back to. read more

We came in for a simple lunch college reunion and left wondering why we don't do this more often. The Brass Tap hit it all just right, great food, cold drinks, and chill vibes. Danny, the manager/owner, was the kind of host that makes you feel like a regular even if it's your first visit. And our server (Jenique, sp?) was absolute legend. Friendly, quick, and always there with a good tap recommendation. Also I def recommend the bourbon rub on the wings! It was a hot afternoon in a chilled tap room that makes you appreciate old friends, good beer, and generous service. We'll be back--and probably bring even more buds next time. read more

We were a group of eight coworkers and stopped in on a Saturday after a weekend work project. We were lucky enough to join them on their nine year anniversary celebration. Thanks for including us in the cupcakes and raffle drawing! The servings were delicious and amply sized. We started with the hand breaded pickle chips to share and then everyone ordered their own meals. The pickle chips were delicious! I had the blackened cod fish tacos and they were great. The fish light and flaky and the dressing not overwhelming at all. My coworker to the right had the wings and he said they were tasty. I snagged a few of his fries and they were done exactly how I like them...crispy on the outside and creamy in the center! Get yourself to the Brass Tap and let's help them get to another nine years! read more

We ordered & our food was brought out in a timely manner. Our server constantly checked on us & all the employees just seemed to have really good vibes. Great ambience for a good old Friday night. We always have a great time and amazing service with the Brass Tap ladies! Drinks are cold, food is always great, however in this heat, our servers struggle, especially in this California weather. As a guest I see the ladies sweating and work extra hard. We love having the garage door open and enjoying great weather. Personally, I feel if there were moisture wicking shirts or a form of tank top this would allow the servers to not look so distressed during these California heat waves. I personally would love to rock a Brass Tap tank top for the summertime to help advertise as well as see our servers with some relief in this heat. We love our ladies and want to see them comfortable so service is way beyond amazing of what they already serve. After the recent heatwave Casey and Janique rocked the house with service. While they both were grooving in the 80 degree weather, I believe the help with the attire would greatly benefit our servers and enhance customer experience. read more

Bar ambiance, good service, terrible food! If you go there for beer, there is a great selection but besides that, nothing else to say.

The beer is good. They have a good selection. The food is just okay, and it is really loud. We went on a Sunday night and was a little rowdy, but was fine. If this is your scene, you will be fine here. This may not be a place I frequent though.
