Celebrated a bday here with family and friends, and booked all four golf bays for a few hours on a Sunday afternoon. It was just our party in the venue during that time, a combination of kids and adults. There were plenty of tables for all of the snacks we brought, including pizza, spam musubi, and cookies. My bf and I purchased drinks from the bar while there. The staff was helpful and friendly to our group the entire time. They even explained how to use the simulators, as there were lots of buttons on the floor and a variety of options for play. This included match stroke, driving range, putt putt, box crush, island hop, mushroom bump, foursome, scramble, and more. The kids had a blast playing pretty much everything, while the adults engaged in a variety of simulated golf matches and driving range. The staff guided the adults through some of the features like replay in slow-mo... guests can even connect on golfjoy.com. Also, loved the automatic golf tee that rises from the ground with the ball ready to hit. The arcade in the back offered plenty of pinball fun too, mainly newer machines. My husband is the one who takes my son to golfing activities but this is my first. So walking in, I was greeted by the lovely bartender right away. She was super friendly and I told her we were waiting for Kevin for a golf lesson but I'm way early and he wasn't there yet so I took a look around going from front to back and I must say, it's bigger than it looks. It seemed like a very relaxed atmosphere. I love all the golf reference movies and shows on the wall....so retro. They have a small rec room in the back with arcade and pinball games as well as the simulators up front. They had pretty interesting stuff going on such as golf lessons as I mentioned earlier and I saw fliers for a pinball tournament. Kev got there early too and took my son right away. They do have clubs to use should u need for the lesson. Kev started with his stance and worked his way to holding the his club the right way. It was only a 30 minute lesson but might do a whole hour next time. After his lesson was done, well, my husband was late picking us up but as we were waiting the bartender asked if we wanted water. My husband has been getting into golf but hasn't had the time to go to the driving range or meet up with the guys to play. I gave Fore Play a call on a Saturday night to book a booth for us prior to arrival and the service was great from the phone call to the moment we left. It's located in the shopping center of Vacaville's DMV and is pretty conspicuous from the outside. When walking inside you're greeted by a few simulator booths, a nice small selection of beers, and a handful of coin games. The attendant was able to go over the app that we needed to download and how the simulator worked. We brought our own set of golf clubs but there are a few golf clubs available to use if you don't have your own. The drinks on tap was just the general brew and the fridge was stocked with white claws and few other choices. The food is kept to snacks like crackers and chips so I'm unsure if you're allowed to bring in your own food. The bathrooms were very well kept and I often saw the attendant keeping up with sweeping and cleaning up after each party. There's a table in front of the screens so if you're with a group you can hang back and relax on the chairs. My husband overall loved this place. We were there for a good two hours and he really liked how the system gave pointers on his swing. We'll definitely be back! read more

We're definitely coming back!! We celebrated my husband's 40th birthday and everyone had so much fun. We rented out 4 bays for 3 hours. It was the perfect venue for experienced golfers and beginners to play together. We practically had to drag the kiddos out because they loved it so much. Such a cool vibe inside. Tons of seating. Love the pinball games in the back. Chris and Sandy were amazing! The owner Steven even helped us unload our food and drinks from the car! My daughter started taking lessons here and it's been an awesome experience! She's learned more from Hannah in the last 5 visits than i was able to "teach" her over the last 3 years! As a kids' sports parent, I really like all the space to hang out, the TV's playing pro sports, and the pinball machines. The A/C is a bonus after having to watch other practices out in the sun/elements or at a cramped facility. Staff overall is great and extremely helpful! We definitely plan on coming back for more than just lessons in the future! read more

This place is a blast and just what vacaville needed after the closer of green tree a few years back. The owners are very friendly and great at the onboarding to learn the simulators. There are 150 courses from around the world with more getting added frequently. Also the tee box I'd automatic so you never have to bend over, save that back for a bomb down the fairway. I'd recommend you down load the app golfjoy space before you come in so you have more time to hit balls. It's a great app that tracks every visit keeps your scorecards, on the green / fairways percentages, put counts and other info to need out on. The ambiance and lighting really make this place pop. It's very inviting and intimate at the same time. The bar design is very unique and has a modern day country club feel. The walls are covered with massive TVs for you to watch sports while you wait or enjoy a ice cold brewski. There's a great beer selection and pleanty of snacks to keep you going. They don't have a kitchen or prepaired food so I'd recommend you eat before if you need or bring something with you, heck we've even order food for delivery and it was no issue. Don't forget the pinball arcade in the back either!!! This collection is awesome and all limited or collectors editions that are serviced and maintained by the owner regularly. This place has a lot of good things. The service was awesome and the facilities are really nice. Unfortunately I think they need some work on their simulator. Distances were way, way off. Average driving distance was 165 yards which is a minimum of 65 yards short. Similar shortages were noted in all clubs. An 80 yard PW is pretty disheartening. When I left the simulator I went directly to the Paradise Valley driving range to see if I had a mini stroke and couldn't hit the ball anymore. First 5 swings with the PW hit the green that is at 122 according to the laser. That is 42 yards longer than the sim registered. Same thing happened with all clubs, so I didn't have a stroke. Yay me! I am really happy to have this simulator in our area and I will be back to check their progress soon. It will be great if they start some league play. That is super fun. read more

We had a lot of fun here! Would recommend reserving in advance especially on the weekends and Fridays. Went to play pinball. They have incredible machines that are very well taken care of. In addition the machines have Stern connectivity where applicable. The beer selection is cans and bottles. With a decent selection. But soon to have the taps running. They have golf simulators as well but did not participate We will definitely become regulars read more

Everything here was phenomenal! Sandy did amazing checking in on us throughout our round and we never really had to go to the bar. I brought my own golf clubs but the golf clubs they have there at each bay are really good too! I even bring my son and he has a blast! Multiple kids games to keep them entertained on the projector!
