Tenders are still juicy like my last visit. Mac n cheese is a pretty large portion, creamy and flavorful! Employee/owner very attentive. This time I tried the hot honey sauce which wasn't as good as the comeback sauce...spicy but too sweet for my liking read more

Nashville Kitchen - 2 Medium spicy tenders and a side of mac n cheese - Chicken Shop Near Me - Vacaville, California

The place was pretty empty when I went and I soon learned why. I ordered the 2 slider combo with waffle fries. It was probably one of the most flavorless things I've ever tasted. The staff was nice though. They offered beers on tap but no fountain drinks. I understand places like this tend to use the spice as seasoning but I also feel like the chicken should have a base level of seasoning if that makes any sense. I'm from the south, not too far from Nashville, but this place definitely wasn't representing. Vacaville deserves better and I hope this kitchen steps it up. read more

I stopped by Nashville Chicken after a hike for a late lunch. I needed some protein to keep me going to run an errand before going home. The cashier was hospitable and attentive. My order: Mango habanero boneless chicken wings (5 pieces), side: tots. I ordered to go. My food was brought to me in a brown paper bag. The gentleman that helped me at the register, informed me that he put a side of ranch and comeback sauce (I would describe as their own version of a honey mustard type sauce) in it as well. Yay! The mango habanero boneless wings were spicy, sweet, hot (temperature), juicy, tender, flavorful....and delicious!! This is the first time in years that I have eaten boneless wings from a restaurant that wasn't hard, chewy, or rubbery! I was impressed! :) The tots were well cooked, hot (temperature), and well seasoned. The food was, in my opinion, well priced. The price matches the quality and the amount of food I received. No complaints! The restaurant has 5 flat screen TVs with football games on (It's Football Sunday!) There's outside (patio) and indoor (table, counter) seating. Speaking of that delicious comeback (now I see why it's named that! LOL) sauce, I will be coming back soon! :) read more

Hands down better than Angry Chickn. I love that they have shrimp and popcorn chicken. Flavor is there and doesn't taste overly flavored. Sauce is similar to angry chkn. Food took about 15 mins to come out & it wasn't hot - so I deducted a star. Customer service was mediocre, not super friendly, just taking your order and moving on. Overall I will be back because the shrimp was delicious! Restaurant is in the Walmart shopping center. read more

I go to the Walmart neighborhood store in this shopping area. I noticed that there is a fairly new business, called Nashville Kitchen. My sister and I went to check it out early this evening. First, let me say that the interior of the establishment is SUPER clean, and it is pretty small, but inviting. It has 5 TV's, bar seating, and sit down seating. They offer draft beer, and a really nice variety of food on their menu. I spoke with Eddie, who was extremely helpful and friendly. They make all of their food from scratch, so we ordered the Cole Slaw, the Mac & Cheese and sliders. All of the dishes were delicious! We would have ordered more, BUT, we weren't really hungry. We just decided on the spur of the moment to check it out. Anyway, the bottom line, is YES! We plan on going back to eat there, and will be recommending this little jewel to family and friends. I encourage you to try this cute little restaurant, which is locally owned. read more

Food was hot and cooked well. The chicken tenders were so juicy. I had mild. My husband had medium spicy. We were both very happy. He had the Cole slaw as his side - it was fresh and tasty. I had the Mac&Cheese. It was creamy and had a slight spicy bite. Our mother had the Cajun Shrimp Po-Boy. She loved it! Service was nicely done and they were very sweet. We will go back. read more

As usual there food is great! I had chicken , rice and coleslaw plate. However, the customer service from employee Madi B on my receipt that processed my order, she needs a lot of work on her customer service skills. She was slinging the customers food orders at them. I'm not sure if she was purposely doing this to be rude or if she just normally provides terrible customer service like this. It could easily be perceived that way, if she was being silently recorded on video camera. I'll just say for myself, she may have been overwhelmed. I get it, not everyone is cut out for food service! Angry Chickz is always clean though. Especially a place that can get easily crowded like Angry Chickz! read more

The food was very tasty- I had a shrimp po' boy (the bread wasn't authentic to NOLA but that's a big ask) with Cole slaw. The service was great, very polite and helpful. The cafe was super clean and bright and pleasant with several screens going showing various sports. The only change I'd make is to add more dressing to the Cole slaw and not fry the shrimp quite so long. Very nice spot! read more

There's a sign on the door that the business has closed. The food was pretty good. So sad it didn't make it.

First time here and I'd say the food was pretty good. I got the fries, my son got the Mac and cheese, my daughter got chicken tenders. I haven't tried angry chicks so I can't compare the two. They offer three on tap beers which is nice. The sauce they give you is really good, next time I will request extra. Chicken was good not dry at all. I have to agree with a previous reviewer stating that the service was mediocre. Definitely wasn't greeted when we walked in, took our order then went to the back, took about 15 minutes for our food to come out wasn't too bad but it was super hot in there so it made it a little bit uncomfortable. Ambience is ok. They have a few tables inside and two tables outside to eat. Parking is good because it's located in the neighborhood Walmart shopping center read more

This place is top notch, the chicken is great with 4 different levels of hot. The mac and cheese comes loaded with fried, chicken and their comback sauce. Everything comes in generous portions. The customer service was great. Will totally be back. read more

My son has been enjoying this place! Every chance to have a take away he will choose Nashville Kitchen. His favorite order is the "hot" 2 pc strips with the comeback sauce. Thank you for making my boy happy read more

The food tasted okay, but the ambiance and overall experience was lacking. Ambiance: 0/5. Walked in and it was completely silent in there. No music or tv on, no one at the counter to greet. Just a few people sitting around waiting for their order. Nothing exciting as far as decor, pretty plain. Service: The person who eventually came out to take the order was very kind. However, we ordered the chicken sliders to be "plain" and clarified "no sauce, no pickle, no slaw", and the sliders came out with mayo. Mayo wasn't even on the menu description for sliders. Food: The loaded Mac tasted fine, the medium spice level was right, but there was a layer of fries under the Mac. This was not in the menu description, so not sure if this was a mistake or not. The sliders were good, cooked and seasoned well. However, they still had mayo after being taken back for correcting so that was disappointing. Other: They were out of shrimp. It took 30 minutes for food to arrive, so plan accordingly. Pricey for the experience. read more

I went to this restaurant the first or second week it was open. So it was a very busy restaurant, the food is good. I actually really liked the fries. read more

We picked your restaurant because chick fillet was closed (to be honest). We were the only customers and the young blonde seemed annoyed we asked questions. My 74 yo mom didn't know the drinks were self serve cans and she asked for our drinks when the food came and it really annoyed her. My po'boy had a ton of veggies and 4 med shrimp cold, mom had a tator tot bowl and her tots were soggy. We could have dealt with the food but the attitude is not ok. read more

.... If you love Spicy foods, then go for it, ignore me. But, if you, want to try something different, adventure into the unknown, as I did. I asked the person behind counter, (i ordered Garlic Parmasan shrimp) if order was "spicy" He assured me "no" ... ok... so I get my order, 8 pcs shrimp was soggy, SALTY and a little spice kick to it! ... it came with tater tots.. which was very spicey AF! ... he could of told me, He lied, with a smile" to my face :( ...... for the sale I guess ;( so I'll take one for the team n chalk it up! But NO !... I won't be goin back ! Very Disappointed read more

I really enjoyed my meal at Nashville Kitchen today. The owner/manager, Brad, was very friendly and knowledgeable about beers. They have a nice tap list and the food is tasty. I got the pint (Maui Waui IPA ) and chicken slider special. The sliders came with a good portion of fries and the sliders were real good. The chicken was moist and flavorful; I went with hot for the spice level. A few TVs on the walls to watch the game too. I can definitely see myself coming back to try more of the menu. read more

Really expensive for the portion size and not a lot of options. The large order of chicken wings were actually very small in size. Almost too small to bite off any amount of meat worth the effort. I found them a bit hard to actually bite through and the bbq sauce was way too sweet without any complexity. We got one side of macaroni and cheese which tasted pretty good but the meal wasn't a good deal for the price. I don't think they'll thrive and perhaps won't stay in business for these reasons. read more

My expectations were surpassed! Nashville Kitchen's "Loaded Mac & Cheese with Chicken" is delicious. I got mine fully loaded with medium heat and I would order this again with the Aioli sauce. I added a side of coleslaw, not because I needed it. The portion of the Mac & Cheese was plenty, but I like coleslaw and it was tasty! The young man that helped us was friendly and they went out of their way to make sure we were taken care of. It is a small restaurant, but there are 5 TV's for dining entertainment. They had football on and the Sacramento Kings game. My wife ordered the chicken sandwich and she loved it. We will be back! read more

I never rush to be the first to review anything but this place deserves more traffic. Nashville Kitchen did not disappoint! Ordered the 2 slider w/ fries, which has option of no heat/mild/medium/hot/super hot. Got one mild and one hot. The mild was good but def not enough spice for me, the hot was burning (!!). The chicken itself is fresh and juicy, breading was crunchy and spiced, and the sauce and slaw combo on the slider was the perfect complement. Fries are thick cut but crispy and seasoned well, also accompanied by their sauce. Also tried their shrimp po boy. fried crispy shrimp with cajun seasoning and same sauce and slaw as their sliders. Nice, but def prefer the chicken sliders. We went there 3 days after grand opening and it was fairly empty. So give this place a try and beat the crowd from Angry Chickz. It is a different taste in terms of their seasonings from Angry Chickz, and personally I prefer this place. I'll def be back! read more

Had dinner there last week, after reading their reviews. The food was really great. All the tables were full when we came in, so we sat at the bar until a table opened up. We tried the chicken sliders and coleslaw, also had the loaded fries. We'll definitely be back when in the area. read more

Food was really good and service was great. The thing that really stood out to me was their draft beer options. Henhouse, Altamont and Dustbowl all on draft at an Excellent price. Definitely recommend popping in for a great chicken sandwich and a cold beer. read more

Move over Chick Filet! Nashville Chicken just passed you for best chicken sandwich in Vacaville! Just ate there a few minutes ago with my wife. We each ordered the Nashville chicken sandwich and fries, one non-heat and one mild. Hot, juicy, with fresh cole slaw and pickles on a delicious bun! The fries were perfect, not soggy but crispy on the outside and dipping in their homemade Comeback sauce...wow! Brad is a duper nice guy and it was a pleasure eating there and chatting. He said his wife is from the south and you can definitely tell in the food! Looking forward to coming back! Oh and they've got a few local IPAs on tap as well! and. read more

I just got a single tender to try this place out. At $5 it was on the smaller side with very little seasoning. I usually get "hot" which is spicy for me but this was closer to below "medium" heat. Extra pickles = 3. The comeback sauce was good. Angry chickz has much better food. read more

Sienna and Brad were patient, wonderful, and helpful introducing me to all Nashville Kitchen has to offer. As this is my first time, I greatly appreciate the customer service. As a wine person who really only likes Blue Moon, I appreciate being asked if I wanted to try 2 suggested IPAs. Brad did me a solid by suggesting the Taco Truck lager. Cold and yummy. Something else I truly truly appreciated is that though there were 5 TV screens all showing sports, I asked if one TV could be anything but sports - Brad said "yes". I ended up ordering 2 sliders (1 mild & 1 hot) with fries, 5 traditional lemon pepper wings, and the Taco Truck lager. So, here we go: Taco Truck lager - LOVED! Fries - Crispy and nicely seasoned! Lemon chicken traditional wings - bye bye WingStop You've lost a customer. These were perfectly tossed AND fried! Mild slider - Sooooo good! I like the coleslaw on it with the nicely done chicken. I've seen people say it has a "kick", however it was nice and respectable. Hot slider - OMGoodness!!!! YES, Yes, yes! This one is the star for me. I enjoyed the "heat" and the coleslaw on it. I may just order this as a sandwich and not a slider next time. The place was clean and comfortable with both indoor and outdoor seating. People came in to eat in and to take out, which is always a good sign. I'm terribly pleased choosing this spot for lunch and will most definitely be back again! Sienna and Brad, thank you for enhancing my experience and making it even more enjoyable! I appreciate you both plus whomever it was that cooked my meal. See you soon read more

If I could give more stars, I definitely would! Service was friendly and very attentive. There are a few different TVs with various games playing so there's entertainment. And the food? MY GOODNESS. I ordered the loaded mac with chicken and it came out fairly quickly and was the epitome of perfection! I had yet to order a loaded mac that had fries that weren't soggy, and this place got it right! The crisp for the fries was there, the spice was just right, and it was the perfect ratio of fries, mac, and chicken. Also got the Shrimp PO Boy which was divine and the 2 tenders which were cooked to perfection. Juicy and tender and full of flavor. PLEASE check this place out, you will not be disappointed. read more

Traffic was bad and I was hungry while passing through Vacaville so I stopped at this new restaurant called Nashville Kitchen for a chicken sando. Really good grub, and I chatted with the owner and he's a nice guy. I got it medium spicy to try out how spicy they make it but next time I'll definitely have to go hotter. Sauce was good too! I guess they have loaded mac n cheese too. Gunna have to get that next time too. Great spot to stop to eat when the traffic backs up on 80. read more

I'm in Vacaville today. It looks very welcoming and cool in here. I noticed how there's a Doggie Designs Pet shop right next to this, and I saw some nice and good looking Dogs from over there. When I got here, I was the only one there, it was empty, and should have more people on a business day. I liked how there's a lot of big screen televisions here and perfect for catching an NFL game. There's some good people here, some people from the back kitchen came out to the front to do some managing and said hello to me while at it. I did say I wanted a Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwhich yesterday. I wanted to see how this Hot Chicken Sandwhich matches up to some other Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwhich spots in the city. I finally got my Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwhich. It came out better than expected, the portion is somewhat big for something like this, and it looks unreal. I liked how the workers here double checked how I was doing or needed anything else. The freshly baked Bun was very Artisan like and distinct from a lot of others I had out there. The Crunch on the Chicken was spectacular. The Chicken was moist. I liked how the Chicken was thoroughly coated. The batter, dredging, and breading reminds me of some high quality Onion Rings. I don't know if they used Buttermilk, but it felt like it. I had a lot of salty Fried Chicken Cutlet Sandwhiches out there, but this one was actually good and packed with a lot of flavor. And I didn't know it came with Crinkle Cut Fries, these are above average Crinkle Cut Fries, and the seasoning on it wasn't overpowering and a good touch. This is a masterpiece. It was out of this world. I was thinking this was going to be a 3.8-4.3 stars, it's very rare that I do this for something like this, but I give this 4.4 stars. There's no way this isn't a 4.4 stars. read more
