If you're able to get on Base, this is the best place to bowl in the North Bay Area. Friendly staff, modern equipment, clean, & you can't beat the price. $3.50 per game per bowler. They have a little restaurant inside called Ten Pins. Fries are the best & the rest of their food is pretty dang decent for a bowling alley!

We headed up to Travis Bowl to meet up with some friends for a bowling night. When we got there everyone was a bit empty on the tummy so we went straight to the Strike Zone Grill. We got an order of Nachos, Hot Dogs, Grilled Cheese Sandwich, Cheeseburger, Criss Cut Fries and three beverages. The total was under twenty bucks wow! The food was pretty good and the fries rocked in taste and crispy goodness - yummy! After our meal we got our bowling shoes and hit the lanes. I haven't bowled in quite a while but I somehow managed to pick up four strikes in a game not bad I guess. This place sported 32 lanes, LCD TVs and background music for your bowling pleasure. Thanks Will & Jane! Everyone had a great time...

Haven't been here in years since I lost my base privileges. But I was pleasantly surprised by the newly renovated Travis Bowling Alley! I grew up hanging out here when I was younger and loved coming here for $1.00 Bowling days over the summer. The renovations make it look more modern with new tables, couches, bar stools, ball racks, and a brand new kitchen. Love how they still kept the "Travis Bowl" insignia on the wall! Of course its been updated to the times of technology cuz the Bowling system is now Computer controlled with funny cartoon animations popping up after each time you bowl or to celebrate your Strike or Spare. Bowling is $2.50/person and shoe rental is $2.00. Be sure to tell them your EXACT shoe size cuz their shoes run big and you'll most likely be one size smaller than your actual shoe size. Brownie points for the cool staff cuz they were able to accommodate our group despite the New Years bowling tournament going on. Their FOOD, especially the Bacon Cheeseburger, was just as simple and delicious as I remembered it! Kinda disappointed that Crisscut Fries were cut from their Menu, so ended up with a side order of their Crispy Onion Rings instead. They do offer pitchers of Beer such as Bud light and Corona and you're only allowed to drink them at the Dining tables and NOT in the bowling area. Overall, the bowling alley is just as pleasant as I remembered and I had a blast bowling with my friends. Guess I'll have to sucker my military friends into bringing me on base next time I wanna bowl here again! ;)

Clean and friendly staff. Friday nights they do have league night so we left early. Food was good and we plan to visit often. Walking distance from TLF. Fun for the family to get out of the room and do something fun.

Super cheap and modern equipment. It's on the base so you need to go with somebody in the military.

During the summer, you just can't beat $1 bowling with friends and family. Everything is cheap and the food service is a plus!

I called to ask a simple question and the women that answered had a very rude attitude. She needs training in customer service!!

Right across from the Westwood Inn. A good place to grab a bite to eat (and maybe bowl) if you don't want to drive.

And it was so good- lots of crispy bacon and fresh tomato and lettuce. The bun was fresh and soft but held up well (read not soggy) against the tomato and mayo. My husband opted for the soft pretzel, was was piping hot upon arrival and came with two sauces- a mustard sauce and a cheese sauce. We finished it all. The sandwich was so large, I took half back to our room to eat for later. Crush Lounge also has a small bowling alley with several lanes. We didn't get to try it as it was reserved for an event, but this is such a cool feature of the property. This is a solid spot for a quick bite to eat or for drinks when staying at the Meritage.

There's music playing, but it's at a perfect level where you can still easily hold a conversation. The bar area also has multiple TVs if you're looking to catch a game. The space offers more than just drinks, with a small bowling alley (six lanes) and a pool table, making it a great spot to hang out. Bathrooms are located just outside the lounge, down the hall near the elevators. Service has consistently been solid during my visits. Staffing has never been an issue, and it's always been easy to get help at the bar. The drinks are well-made and flavorful, though on the pricier side. The only food I've tried so far is the carnitas nachos, and they're definitely worth ordering. Overall, it's a fun spot for both adults and kids, and it's usually our first stop after checking in.

That resulted with no response so I was a bit hesitant. In the end, we were pressed for time so I booked online. Booking for a party of 12 and choosing the food was pretty straightforward. A week later and it's time for the birthday party. Again, I never got a response back from them other than the usual email confirmation of my event time and type. We arrive 15mins before our event and check in. They introduce us to Imane (forgive me if I misspelled it) as our coordinator. She was so nice and so friendly that I totally forgot about the skeptism that I had. She explained to us what to expect as far as bowling time, food and beverages and the arcade. She also introduced us to Efrem (again, I apologize if I misspelled it), one of the managers. We had a great conversation with him about everything. He made sure that we have everything we needed. As for the presentation.. it was more than what I expected. Chicken tenders, pizza, fries and funnel cake fries were pretty standard fare.. and 4 choices of beverages too! But they were presented so well and kept warm in chafing dishes. They had our boy's name in lights and had a full size bowling pin (to be signed) as a present for him! Great touch. Imane checked on us regularly to make sure we're not running out of anything.. and we didn't. The only thing we added were chicken wings and they were excellent as well. Overall we had an excellent experience. My initial skeptism was replaced with satisfaction. I think that we had a good value for what we paid. We all had a great time bowling and the kids enjoyed the arcade. It was a successful 15th Birthday party with much thanks to Imane, Efrem, and all the staff who made it happen.

He seemed hesitant to accommodate my request and had to ask his manager, who came over and immediately approved it without any issue. I really appreciated her understanding and professionalism. Another thing that stood out was that he repeatedly checked my cousin's $100 bill, which felt excessive and made us uncomfortable. I understand that employees may need to verify large bills, but the way it was handled didn't leave us feeling valued as customers. I appreciate the manager for resolving the seating request quickly, but I hope all employees receive additional training on customer service, especially when it comes to accommodating guests with disabilities and interacting with customers respectfully.

Event: Game # 7 NBA Western Conference Finals. Spurs vs. Thunder…read more It's fun, but like most avenues for fun these days, it's pricey. Located inside the Westfield's Mall at Solano Town Center (forever known to locals simply as Solano Mall for short). Better have your credit card on point or a wad of cash to see a good time here. We ate before arriving, as we were looking to move beyond the basic pub food offerings. So, can't really comment on the burgers n' such. Upon entry, it's pretty much an unorganized and haphazard way of seating yourself. But, we found a table close to the bar and with prime sight lines of the big screens. This, despite signs at the tables saying wait to be seated by a hostess (?) Took awhile to be acknowledged by a server, but we weren't in a terrible hurry either. Started with rounds of drinks. Non-drinker myself, my two 12 oz. canned non-alcoholic brews were $9 a piece w/o tip. My buddy had Blue Moon yard flights that were about $15 per. Your basic well mixed drinks range from $15-$20 per, with call drinks priced at market-bearing prices. The "eatertainment" chain also gets their hooks into you with their play passes. These are the cards that you can purchase for you & your kiddos if you wanna play their fancy, state-of-the-art video games. The venue pushes these pretty hard. They have very nice big screens showing the latest sporting events with no cover charge typically. Big plus there. But, of course, you're paying one way or another through the upsell. Server Tiffany was a sweetheart and took good care of us. Be sure to take care of your hard-working servers folks! The armed security guard-bouncers were (surprisingly) friendly & cool with us too. By chance, we bumped into old school homies who are well known in the music industry. They were looking to enjoy the place, drinks and the game on the semi-low. Linked up and exchanged rounds of drinks with them after they shotted us out. Separate bathrooms unattached to the mall were clean & welcoming, always a blessing when drinking of course. Look into adding the Dave & Buster's app on your phone to reward your spending. Why not get some credit for your purchases? And finally, if you drink, please do so responsibly. Use a designated driver or rideshare for the benefit of everyone (PSA). Thank you. Enjoy. Not a bad time at all, just can't let your financial guard down here or else you'll have quite another shock besides a hangover the next day.
