Our visit was very short notice, and we were simply hoping to make the most of it for the kiddo's birthday. Our server, Aldo, was a huge part of what made the experience so easy and enjoyable. He was incredibly pleasant, attentive, and always on it. There was never a wait for anything. He was also so easy to talk to and genuinely went above and beyond to accommodate us. At some point, I think I may have become a bit of a troublemaker trying to decorate and bringing things that weren't preferred. Sorry, Aldo! He made sure we stayed within the rules while still helping us make the birthday special. When we brought an ice cream cake that couldn't be placed in the fridge, he brought us a bucket of ice to keep it cold. He handled everything with such a great attitude and made us feel taken care of rather than like we were a hassle. "Aldo deserves a lot of recognition for his exceptional service." He made a potentially stressful, last-minute visit feel easy and fun, and we're very grateful! Quick shout out to guys at the human crane! You're helpful and added to the birthday fun. read more

I visited exactly a year to the day of my last visit... you guys said to come back for a better experience, and I left with an even worse experience than the first time. I ordered a Caesar salad and the salmon and my partner ordered a Philly cheesesteak. He ordered a beer, I ordered an iced tea. His beer was out within three minutes of ordering, meanwhile, it took over 30 minutes to get an iced tea and us having to stop a manager to actually help us. When the food came, I started with my salad per usual. I took one bite and realized there was barely any dressing on it and tried to plug through, but it was so gross. I had to request aside of Caesar dressing to make my salad an actual Caesar. Then let's move on the salmon that cost over $20, but is smaller than the size of my hand, and I'm 5'2". Our food came out in about 10 minutes, which makes sense because it was clear that the food was completely old and microwaved. I don't know how the meat on a Philly cheesesteak comes out dry, but it was unacceptable and there was a small amount of fries on the plate. Then let's talk about this salmon, disappointment, and discussed doesn't even begin to describe my feelings. The salmon was so hard and so dry. I was gagging trying to eat it. No lemon was served, so I asked for a side of lemon in hopes that it would help, there was no saving it. No salt was used only pepper, and everything was extra bland. We both got gameplay cards with our meals, expecting to have some fun, but upon the first game that we started playing within a few minutes of the game starting even though the game wasn't finished, we were required to put more money in the machine to finish the game, which was very disappointing. Also, the prizes absolutely suck at this place. If you spend $25 and get approximately 400 tickets the best thing you could get is candy. If I wanted to spend $25 on candy, it wouldn't be the trash at Dave & Buster's. Highly disappointed, 100% not coming back, and will be spreading the word. read more

Dave & Buster's Fairfield where apparently YOU are the game, and your money is the prize. We went in expecting a decent meal and some games. Between the two of us, we spent about $87 on two meals, and each meal came with a $25 gameplay card. I ordered the Philly cheesesteak and a Sierra Nevada Hazy. She ordered the blackened Cajun salmon and an iced tea . I got my beer relatively fast. Her drink? 28 MINUTES. ‍ Then the food showed up and somehow managed to make the service look good. My Philly cheesesteak looked and tasted like something that had taken a long vacation through a microwave. I got a tiny sprinkle of fries on my plate, like they were rationing potatoes. Her salmon was even worse, overcooked, hard and dry. And apparently their definition of "Cajun" is simply adding black pepper. ‍ No lemon with the fish either. We actually had to ask for a slice. The salad was basically a pile of lettuce with no dressing. At this point I was thinking, "Well, at least the beer is cold." Honestly, the food reminded me of McDonald's quality with sit-down restaurant prices. And the best part? I LEFT HUNGRY. ‍ After spending roughly $87 on dinner, I was still hungry enough that I had to stop at Taco Bell on the way home and buy another meal. So apparently Taco Bell was the actual second course. Then came the games. We started with John Wick. About seven minutes into playing, the game basically said, "Thanks for your money. Want to keep playing? Pay AGAIN." I understand arcade games cost money, but paying for gameplay and then having the game stop after only a few minutes and ask for more credits was ridiculous. Pay to play , start having fun , game stops , pay again. WHAT A JOOOOKE. at least the place was clean Dave & Buster's is supposed to be eat, drink and play. For us it was wait, eat mediocre food, still be hungry, pay again to eat at Taco Bell. We were the real clowns for spending $87 here. I'll never go back. read more

Surprisingly good food for an arcade! Great drinks! When first entering depending on the time of day and day of week it could be pretty busy and might be a little bit of a wait Once seated though our server was very attentive and checked in regularly! Very nice people The place is definitely loud, it is an arcade after all has a nice full bar as well! The food was surprisingly really good! I say surprising because most arcades are not exactly been the best of quality of food I've been to, but this was the exception! Food was hot, looked very appetizing, and tasted great! The drinks as well were very good and could come here for just those and appetizers All in all good food! Great drinks! And good service And after you can play arcade games! Can't really go wrong! read more

Elaine, Aldo, Malachi, Will, Joe, Heather and Adriana all worked well to make sure this event was awesome for my grandson and his friends. Your kindness and courteous check-ins throughout the event to make sure we had whatever we needed was super helpful. The food and drinks were a hit with kids. The pizza choices, not so much, but overall it worked out. Having the party room to use is always so fantastic because it is SO loud out in the main space and people could barely hear each other :) We thank you all for making a now teenaged boy add more great memories to his childhood. You were all very easy to work with and we would highly recommend you all to anyone. read more

Wow! How much this place has changed. They should consider firing the entire staff and hiring new employees. The food was awful, the waitress never checked on us, and she messed up our bill three times. We waited over an hour for three meals and an additional 20 minutes for two more. This place was a mess. I will never eat here again. read more

Not too crowded this evening but always a good time! They offer good deals during the week, are constantly updating the selection of games to keep it fresh, playing good music, and showing the latest sports games on all the big screens. My boys had such an amazing experience today at Dave & Buster's, all because of an incredible employee named Raven. My oldest son has been obsessed with GOAT lately, so when we walked in and saw some of the characters in the claw machine, he was determined to try and win one. so my husband loaded up the game card, and we gave it our best shot. After trying over and over, we realized the way the plushies were positioned made them nearly impossible to grab. We were just about ready to give up. As Raven happened to be walking by and cleaning, my husband politely asked if he could rearrange the stuffed animals to give us a fair chance. Without hesitation, Raven smiled and gladly helped. Not only did he reposition the plushies, but he also gave our boys a free play. Because of Raven's kindness, my son was able to go home with a couple of the GOAT characters he had been hoping for. The smile on his face was priceless, and it truly made his night. Acts of kindness like this may seem small, but they create memories our kids will never forget. Thank you, Raven, for going above and beyond, and thank you, Dave & Buster's, for having employees who genuinely care about making families feel special. You made two little boys very happy today, and we're so grateful. read more

Event: Game # 7 NBA Western Conference Finals. Spurs vs. Thunder. It's fun, but like most avenues for fun these days, it's pricey. Located inside the Westfield's Mall at Solano Town Center (forever known to locals simply as Solano Mall for short). Better have your credit card on point or a wad of cash to see a good time here. We ate before arriving, as we were looking to move beyond the basic pub food offerings. So, can't really comment on the burgers n' such. Upon entry, it's pretty much an unorganized and haphazard way of seating yourself. But, we found a table close to the bar and with prime sight lines of the big screens. This, despite signs at the tables saying wait to be seated by a hostess (?) Took awhile to be acknowledged by a server, but we weren't in a terrible hurry either. Started with rounds of drinks. Non-drinker myself, my two 12 oz. canned non-alcoholic brews were $9 a piece w/o tip. My buddy had Blue Moon yard flights that were about $15 per. Your basic well mixed drinks range from $15-$20 per, with call drinks priced at market-bearing prices. The "eatertainment" chain also gets their hooks into you with their play passes. These are the cards that you can purchase for you & your kiddos if you wanna play their fancy, state-of-the-art video games. The venue pushes these pretty hard. They have very nice big screens showing the latest sporting events with no cover charge typically. Big plus there. But, of course, you're paying one way or another through the upsell. Server Tiffany was a sweetheart and took good care of us. Be sure to take care of your hard-working servers folks! The armed security guard-bouncers were (surprisingly) friendly & cool with us too. By chance, we bumped into old school homies who are well known in the music industry. They were looking to enjoy the place, drinks and the game on the semi-low. Linked up and exchanged rounds of drinks with them after they shotted us out. Separate bathrooms unattached to the mall were clean & welcoming, always a blessing when drinking of course. Look into adding the Dave & Buster's app on your phone to reward your spending. Why not get some credit for your purchases? And finally, if you drink, please do so responsibly. Use a designated driver or rideshare for the benefit of everyone (PSA). Thank you. Enjoy. Not a bad time at all, just can't let your financial guard down here or else you'll have quite another shock besides a hangover the next day. read more

I'm only giving this place 3 stars, because of the awesome worker in the Prizes helped me and my family out more times than I can count! He was an absolute stud and deserves more! But the remaining review is strictly going to be the food service and staff. They are the absolute worse! They need to hire more servers! Not bartenders! We got seated, and the host said somebody will be with us shortly. After sitting for well over 30 minutes, nobody checked In with us! I started to wave my hand, and get attention but everyone kept turning a blind eye. It's absolutely absurd that they make us wait and wait and wait, and after about 1hour I just sat up and left. The service is an absolutely the worse! Keep in mind this was a Thursday around 7-8pm! Which is prime time! Many of the arcade machines are solid, but require some maintenance. read more

The parking lot wasn't too busy for a Saturday. We waited about 10 minutes for our server to arrive. Luckily Chelsea was attentive and checked in on us. She ended up being our server for the remainder of the time. We order a few things. Strawberry lemonade was a little on the sweeter side but still pretty good. We grabbed some wings both boneless and bone-in, cauliflower elote, fried pickles and a caesar salad. Overall very fulfilling. We enjoyed the honey bbq and hot honey wings. Several of the games were broken including some of the games we played. We still enjoyed ourselves and all of the techs didn't hesitate to reimburse us for another game while working on the broken games. Honestly I think some of the people playing the games are just a little rough when playing making them break down a lot faster. The UFC fights were playing so the traffic did increase towards 5/6PM. As we left security was very strict about kids under 18 being accompanied by a guardian. Overall we had a good time! read more

HORRIBLE SERVICE - Avoid unless you have time to waste and money to throw away I don't usually write reviews, but last night's experience was so unbelievably bad that I felt compelled to warn others. We arrived at 5:45 PM, and from the moment we walked in, everything went downhill: 1) Ignored at the host stand We waited over 10 minutes just to be seated. We stood right at the host stand while multiple staff members walked past us, made eye contact, and still didn't acknowledge us or offer to help. 2) Dirty table upon seating When we were finally seated, the table hadn't been cleaned. We had to wait another 5-10 minutes while they tried to find someone to wipe it down. 3) Drink taken without asking At one point, our server took my half-full alcoholic drink without asking if I was finished. That's basic restaurant etiquette. I tried to stop them, but between the loud music and my limited mobility right now, I couldn't get their attention in time. That was my only drink of the night--just gone, along with my money. 4) Completely unacceptable food delays - OVER AN HOUR!!!!!!!!! We were a party of 7. Five of us ordered entrées, and two ordered fries. It took an entire HOUR for the first dish to come out--and it was just one entrée. My friend finished his entire meal before anyone else got food. Eventually, most of the food came out... except mine. I was told it had been given to another table and had to be remade. So everyone else is eating while I'm still waiting. By the time I finally got my meal, we realized we were still missing a simple side of fries. No one checked on us. We had to flag someone down--then waited another 30 minutes for fries. Unbelievable. Lastly, as if the experience couldn't get worse, on my way out, two employees were running around yelling and laughing. They crossed into my path twice and blew vape smoke in my face. Yes, I acknowledge they could be off or on break, but their behavior showed a total lack of professionalism and respect for customers. At that point, it was clear that the issues weren't just about service quality -- they reflected a deeper problem with staff conduct and overall management standards. read more

Came here to meet a friend after an event that I had I ordered the nachos with shrimp. I asked for extra beans and extra cheese and I didn't get either the waiter. Alex tried his best to make sure that my mail was semi good, but it kept coming in Bit some pieces he had to bring me cheese separate have to bring me the black beans separate however the black beans it wasn't really black beans. It was like corn but in the menu it's a black beans, corn pico de gallo but it didn't say it was altogether so when I asked for extra black beans, they just gave me extra corn. Now Alex was absolutely amazing. None of this was his fault so I don't blame him at all so if you go to Dave & Buster's, ask for Alex cause he's absolutely amazing. I'm not sure what the vibe is in here. The kids just like to play games so I just came here to eat after the show and I wouldn't recommend for how the food comes out but the service with Alex magnificent. Poor guy!!! He tried!! read more

We have been to Dave & Buster's previously to play games, but this was the first time we ate at this establishment. The overall vibe we had since entering was the two employees did not want to be bothered. Neither was outright rude, but they did not seem enthusiastic or eager to help. (On a side note, the gentlemen working the gift shop/ticket area was very pleasant and patient). When we sat down for lunch, there was only one other table occupied. I only mentioned this because we had very slow service, for there to only be one other table that needed to be served. Again, the server did not seem particularly pleased to be taking our order, despite my party being very pleasant. We were a bit concerned with what the food may be like, due to the service we were receiving. We were pleasantly surprised that all the food came out wonderful. We ordered the Barbacoa Quesadilla, Fish and Chips, 5 cheese Flatbread, Half Rack BBQ Ribs & Chicken Cantina nachos. Everything was flavorful, had large portions, and was fresh. If I were to try the restaurant again, based on our service alone, I would not be back. If I were to base it solely on the food quality, I would consider it. It is truly hit and miss with what type of customer service you get here, and I prefer to spend money at businesses that have better customer service. read more

This place is a hellhole with zero management, hostesses, or servers available when you get there. Food that I had was on par with Applebees , drinks were all mixer and no booze. I recently visited Dave & Buster's to catch a UFC fight, and it exceeded my expectations! We arrived around 7 PM and were pleasantly surprised to find a table available. Although this wasn't a drinking night for us, we enjoyed Diet Cokes and ordered two salmon bowls, but substituted the salmon with bean patties to accommodate our plant-based diet. The massive screens and great sound system made watching the fight an awesome experience, and there was no cover charge, which was a huge plus. The atmosphere was lively, but the service was okay. Toward the end of the evening, we witnessed a customer having a medical emergency. The staff immediately stepped in, remaining calm and professional. They quickly called for medical assistance and handled the situation with care. Overall, we had a fantastic time and will definitely be back for the next UFC event. Highly recommend this location. So much to say. Unfortunately, not much good. First of all, they don't know how to cook steaks, hamburgers, basically anything beef or pork and some chicken. It's all overcooked. If you're lucky you might get acknowledged to receive service. However, plan on waiting 1/2 hour or more just to get drinks. Oh, and don't expect to eat with the rest of your party, your meal might get forgotten or not available, but they won't tell you that until someone brings out the rest of your party's meals. So plan on eating alone after everyone else is finished. And, you know, it's okay with them. They don't understand the concept. Missed the beginning of the game because no one had turned the volume on for the game. Although that section is reserved for people to enjoy the big screen, plan on sitting there watching a mute TV listening to loud overhead music they have playing in the rest of the place. Customers sat there waiting until a customer flagged three different people about this issue before someone came out to turn the sound on. But, as soon as the game ended, even though there were still commentators reviewing and fans cheering, they were "johnny on the spot" turning the sound off. Even though there were customers still in the area eating, drinking, and still watching. This review is not for a one-time event. I have been there several times and have never had a pleasant experience in any of the above-mentioned areas. I give up. I tried to patronize the facility and have spent at least a thousand dollars, whilst giving them the opportunity to get rid of the kinks. Like, I said, nothing good ... one last observation ... they are so not Intune to the running of a restaurant that I saw a server coming out of the kitchen area with a full tray of food going from table to table asking people if it was theirs??? Seriously, not once or twice but continuously throughout the evening. Wouldn't you agree with the review score? read more

Dave & Buster's recently added some new things to their menu. I came craving their fish and chips, which is great. But I just had to try the new Buffalo Wing Burger. It was fantastic! Service was excellent and attentive. I didn't have to ask for anything. If you've never been to Dave & Busters it's not just an arcade. It has a large sports bar attached with good food. My husband and I have given this place WAY too many chances. We go to play games and have a couple drinks. On many occasions we've tried to order food but it's just TERRIBLE. There's no other word for it. We decided to just stick to drinks and games. Absolutely horrible service- the bartender seemed drunk or medicated and she couldn't rememeber what we ordered. This is one of the most unhappy places and inattentive going out place I have been in awhile. I felt more sad for the personnel than I did for myself; moral appears to be real low. No one wants to help after sitting there for about 15 minutes. We had to flag down our own service person, she did let us know that he was not our waitress, but he did give us some menus and let us know he would send us over our server, which he did. Our server was not being sarcastic, but he did appear to want to go the extra mile to help and could stand some retraining, but most of the staff will be in the same class. The food did come quick and was actually edible. We were with another group, but we broke off from them; they told us they never got serviced so they left. The security could use some charm school remedial training too. I overheard one of the security personnel tell the other guys to throw anybody ass out who is lingering around without a parent or grownup around. I didn't see any of that so I will have to assume they came up empty handed. read more

First of all, half off is such a good deal especially when ordering a bunch of appetizers. However, we weren't a fan of the chicken cantina nacho; they just tasted like something I could easily make at home with some canned nacho cheese and didn't have much chicken. The service we received today was terrible. It was provided by a man with a long ponytail, and it was easily the worst service I've ever experienced. Our entire table waited 20-30 minutes, only to receive the wrong number of drinks. The server said the bar had forgotten, but there was no apology or any sense of accountability. Everyone at the table was understanding that it was a busy day, but the person whose drink was missing had to wait another 15-20 minutes. The biggest issue was that our table repeatedly tried to politely get the server's attention, and he very obviously ignored us. At one point, someone from our table walked over to get his attention--he looked at them and walked away. This was a birthday celebration, and it ended up being the worst service anyone in our party has ever experienced. Please do better, respectfully. read more

This review is long overdue. I wish I had photos to share, but my main feedback is about how poorly a minor issue was handled -- not the food itself, which was actually solid. We ordered the wings, which were delicious. The menu said they came with celery sticks -- and they did... but literally two tiny pieces on a large plate. It felt odd, so I politely asked our server if I could get a few more. She agreed and brought them over -- no mention of an extra charge. Somewhere along the way, there was a mix-up, and two servers ended up bringing out extra celery plates. We only expected one, but they asked if we wanted to keep the second plate, and we said sure. We also asked for a side of ranch -- they brought out a few and even said we could keep them. No big deal. The issue came at the end of the meal when the check showed multiple unexpected charges for the extras. Again, none of these were communicated in advance. I brought it up calmly to a manager named Joe -- not to argue over a few dollars, but to give honest feedback. Unfortunately, his response was dismissive and defensive: "That's just how it is." It wasn't about the charge, it was about being heard. His attitude escalated what was a very minor concern. I eventually spoke to Anthony, another manager, who was far more professional and receptive. He understood that sometimes customers just want to offer feedback -- not freebies. In the service industry, attitude matters as much as the food. It's not always about comping something -- it's about how you respond. Hopefully, they take this as constructive feedback. COMMUNICATION IS KEY! read more
