We were so impressed that we came back tonight, and once again the service and food quality were just as exceptional. There aren't many places in Fairfield where you can get a great steak and lobster dinner at such an affordable price. The server was nice, but selling up every 3 seconds, good for her, but read the room. Husband got the sirloin, seasoned broccoli and mashed potatoes. He said mediocre overall. Kids chicken strips/orzo rice were rubbery chewy at best, and we mentioned it to server that they were inedible. They didn't get taken off so my child ate my dinner. Combo shrimp grilled and Walt's were good, baked potato good, orzo rice just don't bother. Crusty, dried out rice kernels with orzo that's green- never seen that before. Came in on a Wednesday dinner around 7PM for a table of 2. It looked semi busy inside but we were seated within 5 minutes. We were waiting to order for about 10 or 15 minutes, but a waiter later came by and apologized for the wait, explaining that no one had been assigned to serve our table. He offered to cover an appetizer for free for the wait, and then immediately brought fresh bread and our waters. Our food came pretty quick, and the lobster dip was good for being free, but for $17 I would probably have skipped next time. It was still a nice gesture that it was provided free due to the wait though. We got the viral crab boils and ordered one of the mariners and one of the Sailors boils in Cajun butter. They were a bit pricey (we are technically in the Bay Area) but comparatively it's a good deal because it comes with a lobster tail and snow crab legs. Our waiter also brought out cups of butter when we asked. For two people, I think just ordering the mariners boil could have been enough. Our food was well seasoned, especially the sausage. The corn could a bit more seasoned though. Our waiter let us know the bags had to be shaken and served to us at the table, but the bags are hot so it was totally fine and he didn't need to do it for us! The food also came with crab leg crackers, an extra plate, a fork to scoop out crab meat, and bibs. We were allowed to bring our leftovers home, requested more biscuits to take home, and got our receipt fairly quickly after requesting it. The restaurant was also clean, gave a calming muted vibe, and there was light music playing. Our server was the best part of the experience. He apologized for any inconveniences, was quick to remedy problems, helpful, and overall kind. He also let us know that he was waiting for fresh bread to get to us. We came here to try out the crab boil. We were a family of 5. We were seated almost immediately which was great but everything else took forever. The water, the straws, the bread, the food took about an hour. Our waiter Brandon (I think that's his name) was pleasant but I feel like he was overwhelmed as they were busy. He later informed us it's the first week of the crab boil and it's a popular item so naturally the kitchen was behind. We had to flag down someone to pay, took forever to get our receipt. Just not a good day. The margarita flight was delish and the crab boil was yummy. That's one plus. Another thing I noticed and wanted to speak to the manager about while my daughter and I were in the guest bathroom, we were washing our hands and were leaving out of the bathroom, as we were exiting, one of the workers (a female short height, hair in a bun, didn't catch her name) left immediately out of the bathroom stall and was right behind us as we were exiting. I'll give this place 3.5-4 stars! I've gone to this location a couple times throughout the years of living in Fairfield and I really have no complaints about the food or cleanliness. The service is not too bad, when I went recently our server just took way too long to check back with us when we were ready to pay and leave. We ordered the mozzarella sticks which were cooked perfectly and had a good cheese pull. I ordered the mariners seafood boil with butter garlic sauce and I really enjoyed it! I'm a sucker for seafood boils. My husband ordered the Friday special which were the fish n chips with coleslaw and fries. So I've been to this fabulous establishment twice now both times were amazing, the red lobster in the town I came from was not so good but this red lobster run don't walk. The staff is super accommodating and friendly on both trips. The manager came by our tables to check and see how our meals were going I ordered lobster both times and it was perfect.. Stop by Red Lobster for lunch and decided to go with Crab Carbonara and a Caesar Salad and my wife selected the Sesame Salmon bowl. From entering the front door it was clean and you see the bar with plenty of options for alchohol and drinks. We were greeted about 5 mins later and seated around 10 minutes. The waiter was nice and had biscuits ready and water while taking our order. Caesar Salad was the first to arrive and a bit overdressed to my liking but I was hungry and lived with it and at the end of day it boils down to preference. Shortly after the rest of food showed up. My wife was very happy for her Sesame Salmon Bowl everything was fresh the Brussels sprouts compliments the Salmon real well and taste great. My Crab Carbonara was creamy rich with a mild taste of crab. I wish it had more crab meat but it worked. I took most it home and ate it as leftovers. We were seated right away however the server appeared to be very busy even though the restaurant didn't seem to be very full. It took a really long time to get our order in and even longer to even get water on the table. Our cocktails were weak and took forever to get. Our salad never came. The appetizer of crab queso was ok but lacking in crab. Our shared entre was very disappointing. The shrimp scampi was overcooked and the crab just didn't taste right. For the prices we paid I expect much mich better. The few positives for us was the biscuits, Cole slaw and the Lobster tail were very good and the server was friendly. Husband says The fish was chewy. Yes, chewy. The coleslaw had a weird sheen to it. The fries and hush puppy's were also previously frozen. The best part of the meal was the soda. I had the chicken Alfredo. Hard to mess up pasta unless you under cook it. This was not. It was great. However I do think the chicken was previously frozen as well. He then asked if he wanted complimentary ice cream and he said yes. He then comes back to say they were out of ice cream. He didn't even try to substitute it with a dessert or something else. Even though it was just ice cream I feel like that was very rude and disappointing. Honestly I can't remember the last time we had such friendly service. Everything ordered was brought out in a timely manner. Everything was piping hot. Not sure when Red Lobster started serving pizza but I'm so glad they did. I ordered the Lobster and Langostino pizza and it was surprisingly delicious. Unfortunately, by the time I got home and ate it, it was a little cold but that was an easy fix. I threw it in the air fryer for a few minutes and it was so crisp and so flavorful. The crust of the pizza is very thin so it had a nice crunch to it especially after air frying it. I would say the amount of lobster on top was a bit sparse but that wasn't too much of a problem for me. They also provide a lemon and that really complimented the all the other flavors. read more
