I went to outback for dinner on Saturday before a movie and it was 10/10! Staff were very nice and checked in on us throughout our meal. I ordered a new drink which was insanely good and the food came very quickly!! Everything was cooked to our liking. Thanks so much for taking great care of us. We had a blast.

Food was just okay, service was good. Outback Steakhouse used to be a favorite of ours 20 years ago, but we rarely come here anymore. We came this time because we had gift cards that needed to be redeemed as many Outback locations will be closing. The food isn't the best. Hence, it's not our first choice for steak. The place was emptier than we remembered, but still a decent amount of customers. We were seated immediately and our server did a good job. Food quality was average.

The drinks were really good! Can't say the same for the food or service. Seemed like every table around us was checked on more often than we were and we never got any complimentary bread. The food was average but not worth the prices once it was served to us.

Stopped by Outback Steakhouse on our way to Sacramento for a quick bite. It's a fast-food style steakhouse with speedy service. The blooming onion was overly salty, and the salad was surprisingly sweet, but the steak was delicious and cooked perfectly. We also had a baked potato, which was the highlight of the meal. Servers were attentive and got our food out fast. While it was a decent stop, it's not a go-to spot for us.

Most of the inside seating was full, only 2 tables for 2 were available (were were a party of 3), but a nice lady (might be the owner's daughter) with 2 small children got up and came up to me to let me know she was getting ready to leave soon. She moved all their stuff and the 2 children to one of the small tables so the bigger table could be cleaned for us. They were a little short handed that day (owner said someone called in sick), so just the owner and cook were working. Bother owner and the cook worked fast to clean the table so we could be seated. More people came in after us and sat in their outdoor seating (a little chilly to sit outside that day). The owner did a great job serving all the customers by himself. The cook would help deliver the cooked food as well and help with customers if he wasn't cooking. The owner was apologetic about the slower service, but in actuality, it wasn't bad. As for the food, we ordered our usual, the Picanha Steak Platter (feeds 2-4 people) which is our favorite and over the best deal. Unfortunately in the past 2 years the price has gone up by about $20 (currently $70.99), but is still a great deal for 5 steaks on a sizzling platter (cooked to the doneness you want), rice and beans. The meal was delicious as usual. They have other great selections as well. Check them out for some great Brazilian food that is made to order.

Crispy chicken fried rice - 10/10, chicken was juicy and super crispy, paired with two different sauces (1) some sort of creamy mayo aioli (2) sweet chili sauce; i personally preferred the sweet chili sauce. The rice itself was subtle, with a slight soy sauce flavor; definitely allowed the chicken to shine. Thai iced tea - 8/10, good thai tea. not too sweet, stronger on the tea side. Staff were friendly and food came out quickly. The restaurant is decent in size (has both outside and indoor seating), and had a modern, clean look. Overall, food was delicious and would definitely come back. (extra note: the menu has some interesting items that I'm looking forward to trying, definitely unique in comparison to other thai restaurants)

The…read moredishes are just okay - nothing too spectacular that would really make me crave the dishes here. Surprisingly, my main complaint for the yellow curry was that it had too much chicken. I wanted more variety and balance with the potatoes and carrots. I expected the carrots to be crunchy, but not with the potatoes. The potatoes were on the tougher side and just needed a bit more time to cook and soften. And also with more cooking time means the soup to be thicker, which it also needed. Overall, taste of the yellow curry was decent, just the ingredients were a bit off. As an appetizer, the pork belly surprisingly had a good portion size. Or maybe that's just the illusion of the long plate it is served on? Among the dishes we ordered, this was my least favorite. It was not crispy, more on the harder and chewy texture. It just didn't have that crisp like a typical crispy pork belly should. The other two dishes - pad see ew and pineapple fried rice - were great. Taste, texture, color - all near-perfection. The pad see ew can add a bit more on the portion size, otherwise both dishes are a must to order here. As for customer service, we had pleasant experience. We did not know they close mid-day, so we arrived about little more than 30 minutes before closing, but they were still pretty eager to take us in. Many other folks were still in the restaurant and the staff were very attentive.

Back Door Bistro, Vacaville: 2026 Jul 10 (4.29 of 5)…read more Ladies Gathering!! The service here is a 4.5 of 5. We had different servers who attended to us and they're both friendly and looked cheerful. We got there towards the end of Happy Hour and was presented with their Happy Hour menu. The menu is small, easy to read and has almost everything we'd want for that time of day - including the drinks. The food is a 'hit' or 'miss'. Here's my review: Drinks: Both the Arnold Palmer and the Cadillac Margarita were good. My lemonade tea wasn't overly sweet and I could definitely taste the lemonade. The pitcher of Cadillac Margarita looks innocent but may give someone a slow and powerful buzz if you're not used to the drink. (4.75 of 5) Charcuterie: This a complete appetizer board. Overall, there were some hits and misses, however, we agreed this is a well thought out appetizer board. (4 of 5) Crispy Brussels Sprouts: This is the best dish here, featuring deeply caramelized, dark golden-brown edges and a nutty, earthy flavor. Their Crispy Brussels Sprouts is also the best we've had. The seasoning is on-point, allowing the texture to show off its crackling, crunchy bite on the outside, contrasted by a tender, melt-in-your-mouth interior. (5 of 5) Seasonal Tacos: "Oh WOW!" The explosion of spicy and tangy flavours balanced by contrasting textures makes this dish "pop". (4.75 of 5) Beet Salad: The colours were lovely, but this beet salad was over-salted. The vibrant dish featuring beets as the main ingredient, balances the earthy sweetness with contrasting textures and flavours. If this wasn't too salty, it would have been more refreshing. (3.75 of 5) Coconut Lime Bouillabaisse (halibut, jasmine rice, spinach, snap pea, pickled shiitake mushroom, coconut lime broth, basil oil): Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought Bouillabaisse means seafood. The only seafood we noticed were chunks of halibut, which were delicious. This dish looks and tastes more like an elevated Thai soup dish that cost too much. (3.5 of 5) After walking in, we decided to sit outdoors because of the loud music that was playing. We're glad we did. The overhang on the veranda was well positioned with plants and flowers softening the cement walkway. The weather was pleasant - with a gentle breeze blowing down the corridor. Parking is easy if you arrive early enough. One last note: Back Door Bistro in Vacaville was featured on "Check, Please! Bay Area"
