Based on my first experience at Texas Roadhouse, I must say this is the best restaurant chain based in the United States. Everything other than maybe the wait to be seated, from the time I got my seat, the friendly and speedy customer service, and the delicious food made for an overall amazing experience. I ordered a few items: Bread: the Texas Roadhouse bread is legendary along with the cinnamon butter for a good reason. Those bundles of joy are addictive, carbs treats. Sampler Platter: The highlights are the boneless wings. Nice meaty bites of chicken with a light batter and nice Buffalo style sauce. The taters were solid and good with the sour cream. Rattle Snake bites were my least favorite, just lightly battered cheesy balls. 23oz Ribeye: this of course was the highlight. Excellent, perfectly cooked steak with the perfect amount of fat to meat ratio. Seasoned well and the mushrooms and onions complemented the steak. Ribs: I thought the ribs were a little lack luster. They were tender but a little dry. The service was exceptional from my waitress Ale. Nice, lively atmosphere.

Finally tried out Texas Roadhouse after passing by it on Interstate 80 throughout the years. I will confess this restaurant is the place to try out. The restaurant allows you to pick your meat before being seated. The choice of beef is amazing that it looks like you're picking it from a butcher. This restaurant can be packed with people dinning inside. The wait to being seated is less than five minutes. The BBQ Chicken Sandwich can be messy. I was able to finish my entire sandwich and still be full from it. I was able to substitute the fries with green beans. Will I try this place again...perhaps!

Tried and true steakhouse with plenty of alternatives! The food here is always good and can't go wrong with anything honestly! Love the appetizers and smaller bites they offer The steaks are always great, and can tell the food is quality and fresh When you go make sure to ask for another round of bread because the butter is to die for! Dinner time is usually always pretty busy so you may be waiting for a bit depending on your party size. The staff is always very nice and welcoming But yeah any time I've gone for dinner the place is just about as packed as it can get and not any awkward silence at all. They offer surprisingly more cocktail drinks than you'd expect and for a very reasonable price! Cheaper than most restaurants for a basic margarita or Long Island ice tea, and very good at that! So recommend checking that out! All in all it's always a good time here and can't go wrong with anything food or drinks Highly recommend!

Tables never got cleared. The closer one was like this when we arrived and never changed.

Clearly this is a popular place full of happy people. The staff was really friendly which made up the just ok food. Medium rare steak came out medium well. Ribs were mushy from being overcooked. We ate outside which may have been a mistake. The tables were dirty and the staff never cleared anything after guests left. It is obvious that the staff uses this as a break room. So, everyone seemed happy but I'd suggest inside seating even if it is loud since we're guessing the tables will be cleaner.

I quit counting all my reviews on TRH in Fairfield, cause the there's so many! Usually a Big 5 Stars. Tonight's experience was slightly disappointing. ( Sad Face) Today my husband and I celebrated our 15th Wedding Anniversary. I'm 70 and he's 74. Our "Second Time Around" has been amazing. We always have an excellent and affordable meal every time. We like to arrive early and miss all the craziness, so we got there at 3:30 and were immediately seated next to the bar. Ok. That's fine. We wait. Finally our server arrives, takes order and leaves. We wait. No bread. No utensils and where's our drinks? Long story short...I ordered a salad, 6oz filet with grilled shrimp and loaded mashed potatoes. We finally got the bread and drinks. Salads came flying in a short time later and before we even had a chance to enjoy it, here comes the Entree? It was crazy and something we've never experienced here? Ok and now for the food review. My filet was absolutely cooked to perfection! However....Potatoes were lukewarm at best. Sour Cream made them cold. I questioned the Grilled Shrimp from first bite. They seemed a bit shy of done and opaque? I did mention this daboggle to the GM. She was very apologetic. I told her "if you don't know you can't fix it". Well we still had a wonderful day together. We all have off days..right?

I would definitely recommend reserving a table ahead of time and to time your drive to the ETA. It's easily an hour and a half wait on weekends. You have a double check in process where you get off the waitlist and then go inside to wait to for a waitstaff to bring you to a table. Bread is good but we did get a batch that was not risen as much. The chicken is really tender and juicy and by far the chili and Caesar salad are my favorite sides. Staff are really accommodating and friendly, but they are busy so they aren't floating around all the time. The inside has a western and casual feel, lots of clapping and singing from birthdays. A fun place to take the family.

My girlfriend and I tried to come here for an early dinner on a Sunday and it was PACKED! So we left. Today we took our chances for an early lunch (11:30 AM) on a Saturday. It is definitely the time to go as there were empty tables! We were greeted as soon as we came in and seated pretty quickly. Our hostess grabbed us a basket of bread (looked shiny like señorita bread, but it didn't end up being that sweet. The butter was a honey butter and it was yummy!). We thought it was a little weird, but even though they had open 4-seater booths, they sat us at a 6-seater booth that had chairs on the end with an extended table. We didn't mind, we just thought it was weird. The menus are already at the table so we grabbed them and started to decide what to eat. She is on a carnivore diet, so she just wanted some meat! Hahaha. Our server, JaneMarie was awesome. She was very attentive and super helpful. She was super friendly! We settled on the 6 oz steak and grilled shrimp plate that came with 2 sides (house salad/sweet potato with caramel and mushrooms and green beans and "fresh vegetables"). My house salad came out first. I ordered dressing on the side. It was a basic salad - nothing to write home about. The entrees came out in about 20 minutes. The shrimp was laying on 2 slices of bread/toast. The steak was smaller than I thought it would be but it was very well cooked (medium well). The broccoli was cooked in something that did not make me think "fresh". The green beans were smothered in a sauce a with bacon and onion bits. I got the broccoli and green bean to take home since she didn't eat her sides. The sweet potato was the highlight of the meal!! The shrimp were well cooked and flavored nicely. The tops were a bit salty, but not horribly. The steak was easy to cut and tasty. The sweet potato was delicious. I ended up taking my steak home with the sides and the leftover bread. We both LOVED the convenience of being able to pay at the table. We were even able to split the bill in half and pay separately. That is a feature that I appreciate so much! As we finished up, JaneMarie came over and said that her manager had a little something for us. We were excited! She came back and said it was a coupon for a free-something. The manager came over and checked in but didn't give us or say anything special. We got up to leave and I told her Jane had said she had something for us. She asked if it was our first time and we said yes and she gave us a coupon for next time and some informational papers. I took home the bag of peanuts they gave us and it reminded me that I had heard the floor was covered in peanut shells. It was not. Overall it was a nice meal (2 for me since I had the leftovers for dinner).

The service was amazing. The ribs were tasty and tender. Their rolls were light, fluffy, fresh, and warm like always. Absolutely, divine! Most of the time I go, the food is ln point, but today, the bone-in rib eye steak tasted really over seasoned and salty. The baked potatoes were also overly salty. The mac and cheese were delicious. It had a bite to the pasta; and I know this is a preference thing. I would prefer it fully cooked. The steamed veggies were also quite crunchy. The corn was nice and sweet. The place was full of customers and there was a wait to get in. I know that the staff tried their best. They had an amazing attitude. They were positive. I would still return. Nothing to truly complain about. It was still a special day out.

Was not impressed at all . 1 they allowed a dog to come in and it was sitting right across from us by the bathrooms, and the dog was licking the plate and it grossed us out. 2 we spent $400 in there and we had a party of six they messed up our whole order 3 we had three full racks of ribs and they were overcooked 4 we had fully loaded potatoes for some reason they had salt all on the outside of the potatoes. They were very edible. There was no fixings inside.. 5 . Then we were celebrating two birthdays there they bring us out brown brownies and you could've used them for hockey pucks. I don't understand what's going on with this Texas Roadhouse but for $400 it should've been better food.. very very disappointed.

We ordered food for pickup. We had Road Kill, baked potatoes, chicken fried steak, and green beans. The food was fresh, hot and delicious. Only problems were we didn't receive one order of green beans, and had to wait an extraordinary amount of time for the delicious rolls. After the togo order was finally ready we waited an extra 10 mins for our bread. Could have been 5 stars for this visit otherwise.

    Legendary food, legendary service.

It gets pretty packed here and I gotta admit they handle it pretty well. They have the process of getting on the waitlist either with the host or I prefer getting on before heading there and pick a time around your eta. Once you get there you text "here" and you will get a notification when your table is ready so can always chill in the car or outdoor or indoor waiting area seating. I've dined in and I've had great experiences with the staff and getting what we needed but only thing is getting around the restaurant like going to washroom can get snugged and tight even the small walkways and loads of workers. I've also tried ordering to-go which was awesome except same concept but receive a text to walked to pickup window outside and avoid the crowd when it's ready and they show everything to verify order and you get those delicious addicting bread rolls with the cinnamon butter with it!!! (Bomb.com) $54.99 for family meal with 2 pounds of beef tips, 2 box of Caesar salad, 2 box of choice of sides (steak fries & seasoned rice), 2 bags of peanuts, and bread & loads of cinnamon butter. Killer deal! Left over for sure!

We came here to celebrate my birthday and my brother's birthday, but we left feeling annoyed because of our server. My husband even said we had never felt so rushed in our lives. Our server (a guy, but I won't name him here since I don't want to ruin his day) came over right after we sat down, when we had just started looking at the menu. We gave him the appetizer order, and then he asked if we were ready for entrées. I told him we weren't ready since our big group was still deciding, and my husband also said he wasn't ready. Yet, he still proceeded to ask my friend for her order. Okay... I guess we had that kind of server. When my friend ordered, he kept insisting she should pick something else, promising it would be cooked to the same doneness as the steak she wanted. Of course, it wasn't done right, and she had to send it back. My brother's steak also wasn't done right, which made things even more frustrating. On top of that, he was barely around the whole time. Other staff ended up helping us more than he did. One of the drinks was also wrong, but my friend just let it slide since we couldn't even find him to fix it. We understand it was busy, but oh my goodness, if the customers aren't ready, don't push them. To make things worse, we didn't even get the birthday singing I didn't mind it but my brother would have enjoy it. We come to Texas Roadhouse all the time, but this was the first time we left feeling so frustrated. We won't be coming back to this location, or if we do, we'll make sure to ask for a different server if we get him again.

Ask the Community - Texas Roadhouse

Do they have a room for a private party? Say, for about 15 people?

Yes but it won't be private. No closed door

Is there an outside dog friendly eating area?

    No they do not.

Do you still allow peanuts to be thrown on the floor?

    No, not any more.

Do they accept reservations or only walking wait list?

If you call ahead, yes. If you have the app you can join waitlist from your phone.

Does Texas Roadhouse still have fried fish?

Yes they do. They are smaller pieces than before.

I know this restaurant no longer does the peanuts and there are no shells on the ground anymore, but would someone who is deathly allergic to nuts be able to dine here safely?

I assume since they don't do peanuts anymore it would be safe unless you have other allergies

Do you require proof of vaccination?

    No they don't (so far).

Are they open for Xmas Eve ? If so what are the hours?

Yes!! from 11am-11pm hours may differ

Why doesn't anyone pick up the phone? How can I get on the waitlist for 8 people if nobody picks up the phone?

Like many restaurants since the governor finally decided to open the state, there's been a shortage of people wanting to work since the government is paying so much in unemployment and other free cash incentives.

How can I get reservations for 9 persons?

They don't accept reservations in Fairfield CA. But you can call for "Waitlist." Which means basically the same thing. Not sure if they are dining in yet but they should be with social distancing.

    Is reservation needed?

    No. First come....

Are we able to eat outside or inside 6ft apart?

    Outdoor dining

Do they serve prime rib for lunch?

Sometimes they will just call and ask usually they run out during 7pm

    Hours of operation?

Varies by location. Can call or go online for their website

Can you help us identify the seasoning used in the ground beef in the hamburgers they served us? Any ideas?

You can buy the seasoning. Just ask the server!

Any option to make online reservations? If so, I can't find it.

If your on the standard website on your phone it wont pop up the option. But once you press on full website itll be clear. Add your name your number and theyll give you an estimated time.

What time does Happy Hour start?

You would do best by calling them. Only been there a couple of times and am not a "happy hour" kinda person!!!

How much is a steak meal r estimate price range?

$15 to $20 depending on the cut..sans any libation!

About how much is happy hour margarita?

    2.50 on certain margaritas.

Is there a wait right now?

    Yes but not too long

Within minutes, I knew I'd found exactly where I wanted to spend a hot summer afternoon. The atmosphere strikes the perfect balance between neighborhood tavern and craft beer destination. Vintage bicycles hang overhead, dozens of rotating taps line the wall, and the energy is lively without ever feeling chaotic. Whether you're catching the match, meeting friends after work, or simply escaping the summer heat, Rustwater has that welcoming vibe that makes you want to stay for another round. Following the bartender's recommendation, I ordered the Chicken Ciabatta from the specials board with a side of crispy tater tots, and it was absolutely the right call. The sandwich arrived beautifully presented on a perfectly toasted ciabatta roll with just the right amount of crunch. Inside was juicy grilled chicken layered with smoky bacon, melted provolone, crisp lettuce, ripe tomato, and a flavorful pesto mayo that brought everything together without overpowering the fresh ingredients. Every bite delivered a wonderful combination of textures and balanced flavors. The tater tots were exactly what great tavern food should be, golden, crisp, and light on the outside with a fluffy interior. They became downright addictive when dipped into a combination of ketchup and a Ghost Hot Sauce that once they are out they are out adding a slow-building kick that complemented the crispy potatoes perfectly. As I enjoyed a cold pint from their outstanding rotating tap list, Spain put the finishing touches on a 2-0 victory over France, sending them to the World Cup Final. Great soccer, an exceptional craft beer, and a fantastic lunch, it doesn't get much better than that on a scorching summer afternoon. Rustwater has earned its reputation over the years, and it's easy to understand why. Friendly service, an outstanding craft beer program, elevated tavern food, and an atmosphere that invites you to linger long after the final whistle. If you're looking for one of downtown Fairfield's best spots to enjoy creative tavern fare, explore an ever-changing lineup of craft beers, and catch the big game, Rustwater Kitchen & Taproom deserves a place on your list. I'll definitely be back to see what's on tap next, and without question, those crispy tater tots will be making another appearance on my table with the ghost hot sauce, if still available, due to the company going out of business.

We were able to bring our pups with us and really enjoyed our time together. With that said that, I'm giving this place two stars. It was great that we got to be seated instantly I didn't have to wait because we were sitting outside. The outside back patio had a whole bunch of picnic tables and all of your utensils and extra ingredients were on top of the table. The menu you had a whole bunch of southern choices. I was super thrilled to see that they had fried okra and fried green tomatoes. Recently visiting Charleston, I really enjoyed their fried green tomatoes. So I said why not give it a chance here. I asked Jennifer, our waiter, what she thought about them and she said they were good. I also made sure to ask what the thickness of the tomato was because I actually like that flavor. We ordered the fried green tomatoes as an appetizer, and two double bloody Mary's. The bloody Mary's were delicious and they came out with bacon and all the garnishes that usually come with it. The fried green tomatoes, were horrible, it was basically batter, you didn't even get to see the tomato inside of it. The dipping sauce was OK, I usually don't do this, but I had to return it because I'm not eating dough! BTW... It also came with a really dirty nasty plate. Secondly, we ordered the fried steak and country gravy. We went for the side potatoes. And we asked for extra gravy. That dish came out pretty well and that's why it's getting this two stars. They definitely need to use a little bit more salt and pepper to add to their food for flavor. Thirdly, we ordered a second round of drinks, this time I ordered their jungle juice, which was huckleberry lemonade and vodka! It tasted water down and like there was no alcohol in it. Even though I asked for a double? At the end of the day, will I be returning no.

We had reservations just because it was mothers day and we knew it would be busy and it was. We got there a little early and sat down right away. The place has plenty of outside and inside seating. When we sat down a waiter came right away and asked if we wanted water and told us our waiter would be right with us. Our waiter came shortly after that and asked what we wanted to drink. We ordered a bottle a sparkling wine. We ordered the poutine fries to start. The bottle of sparkling came out right away. The poutine came out not to long after that. The short rib was tender and juicy, the fries were cooked perfect, the cheese on it was melted, but it needed some gravy and more cheese. The original Canadian poutine has the gravy on it and the cheese curds which are so delicious. If this had the gravy on it, it would be a 10 in my book because of the short ribs and the fries were perfect. For our entrees we ordered the short rib eggs benedict and the chicken & waffles. The food came out pretty quick which was nice. The short rib eggs benedict was cooked perfect. Of course the short ribs was tender, and the hollandaise sauce was nice. The chicken and waffles was cooked perfect, the flavor on both was nice, the chicken was tender and juicy. The must have brined the chicken in order for it to be so tender and juicy, if not, they did a great job either way. The waffles were also cooked perfect and they had some type of flavor to it that you didn't even need syrup. I observed the staff working and everyone was working together and bringing stuff and picking up from all the tables. Kudos to the whole staff. Our waiter was also great so good job to him as well. We were too stuffed for dessert so next time we shall try some. The 5 was close to getting it but the poutine just needed some gravy in my opinion.

Second, the food was insane. Given the reasonable prices we expected the dishes to be small, but they were substantial. I got the Warao pizza (added balsamic) with a kinder milkshake, my husband got the pastrami sandwich with a vanilla milkshake, our daughter got a cheese pizza and strawberry milkshake, and we got a pastellito to try. My husband had to help me with my pizza and we couldn't even try the pastellito because we were stuffed (having it for my snack tonight). And everything tasted amazing - I loved the combination of the Warao, and kinder milkshake with Nutella and kinder pieces, need I say more? And husband eats a looot of pastrami sandwiches and he was impressed with theirs. Third, we loved the vibe. It was a casual place with a modern aesthetic. 10/10 would come back again.

Krisinda was super sweet over the phone. She gave some recs and we ended up getting: - 4 piece combo with sides - chicken Philly cheese steak For starters, the meat is SO TENDER and seasoned. 6 pieces of brisket, 6 rib peices, a thick slab of chicken thigh, and the a hot link. Ribs and chicken were falling off the bone, brisket had a nice little chew, and the hot link was a lil spicyyyy. I was so full half way through! And the sides: mac n cheese, collard greens and potato salad were seasoned nicely. The chicken Philly cheese steak was bomb.com! The bread was soft, chicken seasoned mix and everything paired nicely. Not to mention the amount of French fries! My husband could only eat half! To top it all off, we got home and found that they gave us a butter cake and OMG, my husband and I were fighting over it. Most def need to order more next time. I look forward to trying the cheesy grits and shrimp and the fish and chips next time! The fish and chips sold out right before we called. The sauces are the only thing I would caution spicy eaters from. They weren't spicy at all but the flavor was still good.

Sometimes I crave just meat and cheese and no veggies which they serve. They also serve a ham & egg scramble which is eggs and diced ham. The food portion sizes are also large. One can easily share a meal if you are a lite breakfast eater. The sour dough toast slices were even large as well as my croissant. I ordered BLTA croissant, which is BLT and Avocado. Thick slices of tomato, avocado, and crisp iceberg lettuce with lite mayo spread and comes with your choice of sides. I choose French fries but they have a rosemary breakfast potato I stared to get but maybe next time for sure. My fries were served hot & crispy (not hard). The size of my croissant and mountain of fries covered my entire plate. There is a wait but it is worth every minute. Service is superb. The prices are very reasonable. I also had the peach mango mimosas called Da Bomb! And it was indeed. I got a nice buzz it was cold and refreshing. And not served in a narrow flute glass for only $11. I didn't need a second glass and probably would have stumbled my way out if I had. I've been traveling between Napa and Sacramento for monthly brunches for the past five years. It's a family tradition adopted following the pandemic. Most restaurants that I choose is based on the menu items. Oh and another entrée the Heritage serves is loaded grits. This and the meat lovers omelette caught my attention. Our tab plus beverage and tax for table of two was under $45. If you are a breakfast lover and want a nice breakfast meal in a cozy cafe located in downtown Vacaville where the price is right - you don't want to miss out. There's also out door dining. I don't know the history behind this place or how they been around but this was like finding a gold mine. Not sure how other businesses in the area can compete. Again it's a small cozy spot, warm house atmosphere, not noisy, and once seated food comes faster than the wait time. Excellent customer service. If I was a regular breakfast eater I think I could eat here everyday. I could surly afford it and that's a fact. Well Mac Donald's breakfast is fast and inexpensive and that's the only comparison. There's one restaurant chain I will no longer bother to dine at now that I've been to Heritage House Cafe. If you care not to try Heritage cafe for yourself that's okay. This keeps wait time shorter. lol. Seriously I think you will enjoy their meals, the atmosphere, great service and sparkling mimosas'
