First time here! The restaurant looks clean and welcoming, though the floor definitely needs some major repairs. It's not broken but has lot of marks. We ordered a bagel and an egg & cheese croissant, both were delicious, especially the croissant! The restroom was clean, and they even have a cute photo spot with a nice background, which is a fun touch.Overall, a pleasant first visit on our way to Caymus winery!

Cafe Warao is a modest plaza cafe offering a wide range of delicious Venezuelan beverages and traditional arepas y patacon. They're located in the city of Suisun. Interior design and layout was very modest and spacious with abundant of natural light. We perused their menu and decided to get a hot latte and patacon pollo. Coffee was good as well as their food. Prices were reasonable; service was on point. Atmosphere was relaxing. Ample of parking available. Collectively, it's a nice Venelozano cafe and we are glad have some South American food in a Mexican dominated state. Overall, I enjoyed their coffee and service. I recommend you try this cafe.

This place always pops up while searching for brunch. I decided to finally try it. It did not disappoint at all. The gentlemen behind the counter were attentive and kind. We tried the avocado toast, arepas and tenquenos. Delicious!!!! The house made sauce I could seriously drink!! To end the delicious experience, tried the Nutella and strawberry croissant. Prices are very reasonable as well. I can't wait to try something else.

Had the most amazing food and coffee experience with my GF on a whim. Needed some coffee and some food on the drive to Vacaville from San Rafael and the extra 2.5 mile excursion from 80 was well worth it. We both enjoyed the American Avocado toast and Americano coffee. Flavorgasm! Talked to the owner, Jose who is from Venezuela and he says I need to come back and try the empanadas! Five

A solid cafe with some hidden gems in the menu. I ordered to go and I have to say the arepa I ate was very good, the portion was large and the homemade sauces really made the arepa shine. The man at the register made some suggestions and they were delicious. The cafe is cute and small but very clean and the music and atmosphere was solid.

Went two days in a row since we were craving milkshakes. Menu was straightforward, staff were very kind and helpful, and presentation of our drinks were superb, especially since they were for takeout. Settled in the corner of a strip mall, the place can be a bit hard to find, but there's adequate parking and other shops nearby. The Ferraro Roche milkshake was our favorite. The kinder milkshake a close second, and the cheesecake milkshake our third favorite. A bit pricey, but the milkshake quality reminds me of a high-end milkshake shop I used to go to in San Jose all the time. Milkshakes were Instagram worthy, filling, sweet, and had whole pieces of candy in them. The cheesecake one had a whole slice on top! Would have been 5/5 but the place could have been a bit tidier. There were plenty of chairs but some of the trash and floor could have been cleared or tidied up. The menu was straightforward as well, but the quality of the font was noticeably blurry, possibly due to it being a picture that was zoomed in to fill a whole page. Will be coming back to try other flavors!

Finally.... I have a new favorite Cafe in town! & it's Venezuelan! Cafe Warro. "Un Cafe Pa Echa Vaina" Let's start with The Service. Very welcoming with great hospitality. They bring out your food and drinks with warm smiles. The place looks bright and inviting. Very clean! Now let's talk grub! * Warao Cappucino-WOW! Mr. Barista :) did an amazing job with this cap. It consists of Cinnamon and Condensed Milk. It was delicious and foamy, just as a Cap should be! * Beef Pastelitos It's a nice round satisfying Beef Pastry. Very delicious. * Tequenos It comes with 4 of them. It's like a Mozzarella cheese stick but only it's covered with a dough pastry. Omg, these were so delicious. We were told to put the sauce on them before we took a bite. And they were right. It's amazing! Can't wait to try more, Cafe Warao

Delicious! It's located in the corner of a shopping plaza. During the spring and summer I imagine the patio seating will be lovely. It's decorated for the season (Christmas and Valentines). The first time we came to Cafe Warao was on a rainy day so it was a bit slow. We ordered the Warao avocado toast, tiramisu latte, bonbon coffee, and a ham and egg croissant. There are menus at the front near the cashier. Order at the cashier and then take a seat they will bring the food and drinks out to you. I absolutely loved the Warao avocado toast. It's well worth it! They are generous with the ingredients. The flavors work together perfectly. Visually it's also stunning! The coffees are also very good! I'm not a coffee person but I do like tiramisu. Both of these coffees were on the sweet side but that's personal preference. On another occasion we ordered a plain latte which was also very good but you can customize the sweetness. The second visit we got tequenos and a beef empanada. Both of these were incredibly filling. The flavor was good. They also gave us squeeze bottles of two sauces. Service was great! These are very friendly people. I really look forward to coming back to Cafe Warao.

Absolutely loved this place! The coffee and arepas are sooo good. A must try. I honestly can't remember exactly what we ordered because we went with the cashier's recommendations, but everything we got was amazing and we loved every bite. On top of the delicious food, the place was clean and cute. And the people here were incredibly kind and welcoming, with such great energy that made the experience even better. I'm coming from Oakland, and I can already say I'll definitely be stopping by whenever I'm anywhere close by. Highly recommend!

This little Venezuelan coffee shop is a hidden gem. I had the most wonderful experience here! The chicken empanada was delicious. the filling was savory and flavorful. The pistachio latte one of the best coffees i've ever had. It was strong, and the pistachio flavor was delicious. The vibe of the shop is cozy and welcoming. The customer service was amazing! I had great conversation and made sure everything was okay with my order. I couldn't recommend this place enough!

I came here for the Oakland Friday Off the Grid event and liked it. The potatoes were a winner,…read morethey tasted good. But the other stuff was a bit meh... The salad was ok as well, but I didn't like all of the cheese on top and the dressing was freshly made. I like melted cheese and for it to be melted, it needs to be hot. I could have had a little less on my salad because I was eating it for the veggies. I got an arepa - the pork belly one and it was okay as well. The beans were a touch cold, not an issue, and the avocado was fresh and tasted good. I don't like tomatoes, but the slices were thick and juicy. My husband enjoyed them. My thing is that there was no "WOW" factor with this meal. It was good and did its job (filled me up0, and I was safe (didn't get sick), but it's not the kind of place that I'd make a special trip to see. The place was fine, the people working there were nice, but I don't know if a return visit is warranted.

They recommended the pork belly arepa ($17) but I am no longer enjoying the fatty and crisp textures of pork belly, so I asked the lady who'd confidently ordered just before me for her recommendation. "Get the cheese cachapa, it's delicious and filling," she said. So I did, but I got one with shredded beef instead of cheese-only ($15). My cachapa - a Venezuelan sweet corn pancake filled with melted cheese - took about 10 mins to prepare, and it was thick and huuuuge! I changed my mind about eating it al fresco at one of the tables near the food truck, and took it back to the office instead. Back at the office, I ate the cachapa slowly, with the plastic fork and knife they'd thoughtfully provided. There wasn't much beef in it, and it was crisp, sweet and verrrrry filling. I made myself some coffee to sidestep the food coma that was sure to follow, and got back to work! Will return to try other items when they're back.

Now we know to also check his website at arepasenbici.com *WAIT TIME- our party of 3 arrived right around 7 pm. We were a bit confused upon arrival since there were no other customers, only a bartender on FaceTime and a DJ jamming out by himself in the corner. We were worried that we went to the wrong place again, but it turns out that majority of the chef's customers just orders ahead online then picks up to-go. After asking the bartender if this was the right place to find arepas, she told us to walk towards the back and meet the chef in the kitchen. Then the chef handed us barcodes to scan and we did not have to wait extremely long for our orders but it also wasn't super fast since he had other orders to take care of. *AMBIANCE- fun, loud, "going-out" type of vibes at this specific location since it is also karaoke night on Wednesdays starting at 7 pm. *QUALITY- great! This was our first time trying our Venezuelan food and definitely won't be our last. Although we have no other arepas to compare it to, we can confidently say that it was prepped with great care and skill. Love how there's also a vegan option, which is the Dom arepa! *CUSTOMER SERVICE- great! The chef is friendly and highly personable, which definitely plays a role in us wanting to support him even more! He even surprised our friend with 2 pastellitos after finding out she didn't order some when both my fiancé and I did, which was very nice and inclusive of him. *RESTROOM- bathroom available inside at this specific location. *OUTDOOR SEATING- available, but no outdoor heaters. *PARKING- no private lot available, best bet would be metered street parking on streets surrounding Polk like Bush St which is free after 6 pm!

There is one place which is named after a South American dish where you can enjoy food from Venezuela and it is called Arepas. Walking down memory lane by strolling down 16th street where the young Don Juan grew up in San Francisco I landed at Arepas. Inside there are lots of tables and a full bar along with a wine bar which serves Rosé , Malbec from Argentina , Cabernet Sauvignon from Chile , and Pinot Noir from California ( like Don Juan Pinot Noir). On the menu you will find chicharron ceviche with plantain chips. The arepas are often compared to tacos and pupusas. I find them a bit different since they are gluten free but they both have lots of similarities. I got the Arepas Santa Barbara with steak and shredded cheese and on a grilled corn pocket. It was a bit cheesy and a bit corny like some in SF. The Arepa Catira had chicken and shredded cheese and crispy lettuce . It was savory and tasty. Come to Arepas to get some Arepas.
