Very tasty food and it opens late. It's right off the freeway. Service was good. They also serve drinks. I loved the burger and the fries. I am not a huge fan of artichoke and still not. I would definitely come back.

Came in on a Tuesday night for Lotteria - was a lot of fun and a great place for food and drinks. Staff were very friendly and checked on our table often for drink refills and made sure we always had napkins. Decor covers the walls and gives plenty of talking points, like past and upcoming events. Bathroom was clean, and the place is kind of split between a dining area, bar area, and outdoor patio. A nice chill hangout for the older audience in this primarily suburban area. Lots of space, and not too noisy - huge plus. Ordered the Thai peanut burger and it was pretty good! Huge burger with great crispy fries. The bacon was a bit thick, but in today's economy $20 for a burger and fries, with a super thick patty, was totally worth it. Will be back with some friends!

Came here on a weeknight and restaurant was pretty busy. We sat at the bar and ourserver greeted us right away and attended to us. She was sweet. We ordered some sliders the patty felt dry and the bread was just not the best. We also got B.L.A.T sandwich with fries and Slanted Tree Cobb salad ( It was a little dry on the dressing and i had to ask for more on the side, which she happily gave it to me),but salad was nothing special but big portion and perfect for sharing. The lettuce itself just tasted stale as if it had been in the fridge for sometime. We did get some cocktail paloma (this was good) and also a negroni also good. Overall great place to grab a drink and some bar food.

Good food. Busy place, lots of sports on many TVs. Saw the US Open and decided to stay. Glad we did. Had an itch for mac & cheese and boy was my itch scratched. Absolutely delicious. Hubby had linguine with sun dried tomatoes and peas in a lovely olive oil, divine. Good selection of beer too!

Had a really nice late brunch with my girls at Slanted Tree. It was just a few minutes before they were able to serve the Lobster Ravioli but luckily was able to order it with the okay from the chef! Our waiter was very attentive, and helpful. It was not packed when we went, (may be more packed towards the night time) but nonetheless was enjoyable. I do recommend the Lobster ravioli! I wasn't quite feeling eating a burger so seeing some pasta options was a relief! Definitely hit the spot.

Random brunch pick while waiting to pick up our cat. Good choice. Food was delicious and price was on point. I had the Sunrise Skillet, that's pictured. It came with your choice of sourdough, wheat or muffin. The skillet looked small at first but it was packed and filling. My son had their Chicken and Waffles. Their chicken was more Katsu style tenders, which was flavored right and crunchy. My son's only critique was the waffles could have been more crispy. Ambiance is more of a taproom vibe, which is perfect to go to at night.

Was looking for a place with craft beer and a good variety of food and this place exceeded expectations. It has a good selection of salads, sandwiches, burgers and other entrees. And their craft beer selection is wide and varies with some interesting locals. We enjoyed the chicken tortilla soup and shared a pulled pork sandwich - both hit the spot and washed down with a nice craft beer collab by nearby True Symmetry and Fieldwork. Service was friendly and they had good viewing of sports going on in NBA and NHL playoffs.

Cozy spot with great vibes. I recently visited a restaurant and was immediately impressed with the cool vibe. The space is open with lots of seating and a well stocked bar that adds a nice touch to the atmosphere. Perfect for brunch and social gatherings. To start of I had a Baileys coffee, which it the spot. For food we went with the Bacon eggs Benedict and the Sunrise Skillet. Both were delicious. The Benedict's came with perfectly poached eggs and Sunrise Skillet was very hearty and delicious. Over all it was a great experience.

An excellent little taproom in the Cordelia food cluster. Wide and frequently changing list of beer taps, there's something gonna fit ya. Food follows the pub-grub vibe and is mostly well executed with some examples of focused attention on generous plates. Some selections to consider; Thai Peanut burger is imaginative mixing some Asian fragrance to the burger format. Fritto misto is super tasty, crisp, crunchy with a spicy remoulade. Staff are quick around the room and bartenders are some of the most thoughtful and practiced veterans in this neighborhood. Wine list has some strong labels, full bar ready to go. Tribute to the spirit of the place is the regular customer presence will hold court at the bar so if you want a stool, get early. Dining room is roomy with many 4-tops, deuces and hi-tops. You'll find a spot. Take out beer is an option of many tap selections so... there's that. Trivia night comes around regularly if that's ur thing so, dig it. I'll say it again. You know its a good sign when the place opens at 11a and by 1105a, there are 6 or 7 customers already ordering drinks! Felt very comfortable when i first sat down, everyone was very friendly. Cool bar and beer selection was top notch. Glad i could find their menu on Untappd to know which of the 20 handles i had already enjoyed. Flight price was very good, to go beers were a bit pricey. I didnt try any food but that will happen! Overall a positive experience that I will return to!

Great spot off the freeway with free parking! Came to catch up with some friends over a couple round of local brews. A variety of choices from Northern CA. Didn't get a chance to order a meal but we did enjoy the fried calamari with zucchini & the chicharrones- they were lightly dusted with tajin maybe? Some type of spice and enjoyed with some hot sauce and ranch! Perfect combo with the brews! Staff was very friendly and checked on us often. Lots of indoor seating & a full bar up front. As we were leaving they were setting up for a trivia night! So cool! We were invited to stay but unfortunately had to get home. The place was packed by then so I can definitely guarantee it's a fun experience. Will definitely be back!

Great spot! I don't understand the low rating here on Yelp. Visiting from out of town and found this place conveniently located next to my hotel. Dined here two nights in a row and both experiences were great. Staff is friendly and attentive. Food is better than expected. Had a Caesar salad with grilled chicken one night, a BBQ burger and a grilled artichoke the next. The artichoke was especially memorable. I was tempted to order a second or ask the chef for the recipe. All that on top of a spot that has tons of craft beer options. Plus it seems a lot of locals come here and socialize. Any neighborhood would be lucky to have a place like this. Worth the stop for sure. Would give six stars if I could.

What I can say is the staff in here is amazing. I've been in the area but never actually stopped in. What a treasure. The staff was amazing, service was on the slower side because it was right before the holiday and they were running thin. The food was worth the wait. The drinks were strong and our server was amazing. My friend actually even left her wallet and they found it. I was able to pick it up after the holiday... so it worked out. I will be here to watch a play off game as there are many TV's throughout the restaurant.

Ask the Community - Slanted Tree Kitchen & Taproom

Do you have bottomless mimosas or bloody marys?

Bottomless mimosas are only available during brunch on the weekends. Bloody Marys are available all the time.

For their "weekend brunch" does that include Fridays or just Saturdays & Sundays? I know some restaurants don't include Fridays as their "weekend" days.

The brunch is available from 10a-2p on Saturday and Sunday, but does not include Friday.

Does anyone know if this place has a happy hour or specials?

Oh ya they do! 3-6pm and 9- closing. 2 buck off beers and apps. Enjoy!

The dish comes out fresh, vibrant, and perfectly plated with fresh cilantro and avocado. You can tell care goes into it. I always get the chicken chilaquiles, and the sauce is amazing. I honestly don't know what they put in it, but it's full of flavor and perfectly balanced. If you like it extra saucy, you can just ask and they'll accommodate. It never disappoints. I've tried the chorizo version before and it wasn't my favorite, so I happily went back to the chicken, which is consistently excellent. The café de olla is another highlight. I drink it black because it's that good. No cream, no sugar needed. It's rich and flavorful on its own. The avocado toast is also delicious and beautifully prepared. The space itself is clean, modern, and welcoming. The host has always been friendly and attentive. They even make their orange juice fresh, which adds to that fresh, quality feel. Even though I tell myself I'm going to try something new each visit, I end up ordering the chicken chilaquiles every single time. That says everything. For me, this is the top chilaquiles spot, no question.

We had reservations just because it was mothers day and we knew it would be busy and it was. We got there a little early and sat down right away. The place has plenty of outside and inside seating. When we sat down a waiter came right away and asked if we wanted water and told us our waiter would be right with us. Our waiter came shortly after that and asked what we wanted to drink. We ordered a bottle a sparkling wine. We ordered the poutine fries to start. The bottle of sparkling came out right away. The poutine came out not to long after that. The short rib was tender and juicy, the fries were cooked perfect, the cheese on it was melted, but it needed some gravy and more cheese. The original Canadian poutine has the gravy on it and the cheese curds which are so delicious. If this had the gravy on it, it would be a 10 in my book because of the short ribs and the fries were perfect. For our entrees we ordered the short rib eggs benedict and the chicken & waffles. The food came out pretty quick which was nice. The short rib eggs benedict was cooked perfect. Of course the short ribs was tender, and the hollandaise sauce was nice. The chicken and waffles was cooked perfect, the flavor on both was nice, the chicken was tender and juicy. The must have brined the chicken in order for it to be so tender and juicy, if not, they did a great job either way. The waffles were also cooked perfect and they had some type of flavor to it that you didn't even need syrup. I observed the staff working and everyone was working together and bringing stuff and picking up from all the tables. Kudos to the whole staff. Our waiter was also great so good job to him as well. We were too stuffed for dessert so next time we shall try some. The 5 was close to getting it but the poutine just needed some gravy in my opinion.

Food was quite good, good range on the menu, good presentation, and impressive for the price, wine pairing was decent. Ambiance was ok, a smaller restaurant and a bit run down, not polished as one would expect from a starred restaurant but again this is much cheaper so I give that a pass bc the food was great. Service was ok, again not starred and cheaper. For example towards the last few glasses of wine the glass was given without even saying what it was (which I can obv look it up but is a nice touch when someone explains how the chef intends to eat the course or where the wine is from). I do understand that it was prob bc it was just the chef and his wife working so they certainly can't be doing the level of service (or charge for that) that a starred restaurant offers. So my bestie and I booked a Friday reservation about three weeks out -- and I completely understand why reservations can stretch nearly a month. The space is very small and intimate, and every seat feels intentional. One of the most notable aspects of the evening was the open kitchen presentation. We were lucky enough to sit at the counter, which essentially turned dinner into a show. Watching each dish come together -- plated with precision, purpose, and care -- was mesmerizing. Chef Michael worked with such efficiency and order. After completing each dish, he cleaned and reset his station before moving on to the next, maintaining a pristine space throughout service. There was a quiet discipline to it all. Tonight was the Tasting Menu. It's easy to assume tasting portions might leave you wanting more, but that was absolutely not the case. We left completely satisfied. From the menu that evening: * tsar nicoulai caviar, basque cheesecake * tempura beef rib * canelé de bordeaux, tuna * radicchio, chowder, greens * king salmon, leeks, fennel, sea buckthorn custard * brioche, morel mushrooms, rice cracker, mushroom powder * polenta, perigord black truffle, broccoli * pork tenderloin, braised greens, black truffle mousse * Japanese A5 wagyu beef * mandarin sorbet, oranges, sabayon * meyer lemon ice cream, candied pecans * beignet, salted caramel * cheesy crème brûlée, essex manchego cheese Each course emphasized bold, striking flavors. Some dishes leaned heavier on salt than I personally prefer, but overall there was thoughtful balance between sweet, salty, acidic, and umami elements. Standouts for me were the tsar nicoulai caviar basque, the tempura beef rib, the king salmon with sea buckthorn custard (I could easily eat 4-6 of those), the pork tenderloin and Japanese A5 wagyu with braised greens and black truffle mousse, the refreshing mandarin sorbet, and the unexpected but delightful cheesy crème brûlée. Every dish felt intentional and composed with purpose. This isn't an everyday dining spot -- and I don't think it's meant to be. It's an experience. Chef Michael brings his background from places like Auberge du Soleil and Bouchon into this intimate Vallejo space, and it shows. If you have the opportunity to dine here before the doors close, I strongly encourage you to make the reservation. It's one of those meals you'll remember -- not just for the food, but for the artistry behind it.

Krisinda was super sweet over the phone. She gave some recs and we ended up getting: - 4 piece combo with sides - chicken Philly cheese steak For starters, the meat is SO TENDER and seasoned. 6 pieces of brisket, 6 rib peices, a thick slab of chicken thigh, and the a hot link. Ribs and chicken were falling off the bone, brisket had a nice little chew, and the hot link was a lil spicyyyy. I was so full half way through! And the sides: mac n cheese, collard greens and potato salad were seasoned nicely. The chicken Philly cheese steak was bomb.com! The bread was soft, chicken seasoned mix and everything paired nicely. Not to mention the amount of French fries! My husband could only eat half! To top it all off, we got home and found that they gave us a butter cake and OMG, my husband and I were fighting over it. Most def need to order more next time. I look forward to trying the cheesy grits and shrimp and the fish and chips next time! The fish and chips sold out right before we called. The sauces are the only thing I would caution spicy eaters from. They weren't spicy at all but the flavor was still good.

The Bbq was good, the sides were excellent, the Collard Greens =Outstanding. The Garlic crab noodles were Excellent, Krisinda puts fried garlic pieces on top- very nice. Finished with Fried Oreo's and Twinkie. Oreo's were excellent, preferred them to the Twinkie

We were in Fairfield and wanted some dinner. First place we chose was supposed to be open but…read morewasn't. Turned out for the best. We then chose Cast Iron Grill. Met by Hailey who was also our server. My wife chose the Chinese Chicken Salad, it was hearty and good. I ordered the Pork Chop. This dish was AMAZING! Very moist, great flavor, excellent sauce. Mashed potatoes had the right amount of sour cream. I even liked the green beans. This was a delicious plate of food. Hailey was a great server. Don't hover but seemed to be there each time we wanted her. Nice interior, loved the mural.

I've been craving a red meat and I knew I shouldn't expect much from a restaurant in Fairfield/Suisun, it's just not a culinary area. And I was right! The steak was just OK and for some reason they topped the red wine demi glaze in the to go container which of course, and then spread into the mashed potatoes and green beans. The sauce would have made the steak better if I had more of it. They should consider putting it into a container instead... food for thought.

It was one of those…read morechilly, foggy December nights when we cruised down the two-lane highway, descending into the charming heart of downtown. As we arrived, we were welcomed by the twinkling lights of Main St. and a beautifully adorned town Christmas tree. The streets were nearly deserted, and at the corner, nestled in a lovely brick building, was Main St. Bar & Grill. Inside, the atmosphere was serene, offering an intimate dining experience devoid of lines and throngs of people. I felt as if I had stepped into a scene from a Hallmark movie. The menu boasted an impressive wine selection along with a fully stocked bar. I indulged in a glass of Rombauer Carneros, while my friend opted for an 805. For starters, we savored the delightful calamari and asparagus, both delectable treats. Our main course featured gnocchi and prawns that were absolutely scrumptious. To finish off our meal, we enjoyed creamy cheesecake accompanied by a Bailey's Irish coffee and a perfectly brewed regular coffee, both served at just the right temperatures. The ambiance allowed for easy conversation, with a noise level that was just right. There were no holiday crowds--just the charm of a quaint little town, fresh cuisine, and fabulous wine.

Then I ordered a margarita, it was the worst margarita I've ever tasted. It literally tasted like the real lime juice from the store mixed with the cheapest tequila. The premixed margarita from Walmart tastes better. It was awful and cost way too much for what I received. So if you're thinking of coming here for drinks, don't waste your time.
