hands down my favorite spot for chilaquiles. First of all, the presentation is beautiful. It's not one of those places where everything is drowning in sauce and looks thrown together. The dish comes out fresh, vibrant, and perfectly plated with fresh cilantro and avocado. You can tell care goes into it. I always get the chicken chilaquiles, and the sauce is amazing. I honestly don't know what they put in it, but it's full of flavor and perfectly balanced. If you like it extra saucy, you can just ask and they'll accommodate. It never disappoints. I've tried the chorizo version before and it wasn't my favorite, so I happily went back to the chicken, which is consistently excellent. The café de olla is another highlight. I drink it black because it's that good. No cream, no sugar needed. It's rich and flavorful on its own. The avocado toast is also delicious and beautifully prepared. The space itself is clean, modern, and welcoming. The host has always been friendly and attentive. They even make their orange juice fresh, which adds to that fresh, quality feel. Even though I tell myself I'm going to try something new each visit, I end up ordering the chicken chilaquiles every single time. That says everything. For me, this is the top chilaquiles spot, no question. read more

Pretty dang good spot. I always come weekdays in the morning, always seats available and staff is pretty attentive. But again, only me at times or maybe another party or 2. Always feels clean inside and cozy atmosphere. Food is always vibrant and tastes fresh. Huevos Rancheros is cheap and perfect filling. Add avocado for an extra 3 bucks. I just wish they would cut the cilantro down, they give me a knife that I could cut with it, but I'm a guy, I don't cut it. Overall, tasty food, fast in the mornings, weekdays. The staff here is very nice and the restaurant is very clean. You do have to walk thru the kitchen to go to the restroom but everything looked very clean. The dishes we had were good they had good flavors very title spice. The star was the coffee one of the best cafe de la olla that I have ever had. LOVE their Breakfast Burritos! I finally found a place with the BEST breakfast burritos. Good size burritos made with fresh ingredients and lots of cheese - no frozen potatoes. The tortilla is toasted to perfection on the griddle. You can choose between bacon, chicken sausage, chorizo to name a few. I always pick the bacon. Some may say $16 is a lot for a breakfast burrito. But it is so good and so worth every penny. We have eaten breakfast here several times on a Saturday morning, the food is very good. We've even Door Dashed from here. We have yet to try their dinner menu but I'm confident the food is just as good. We like coming here on Saturday mornings because the food is good and we never have to wait in a long line to be seated. There is indoor dining, and I believe a few tables outside. There is usually both Mexican music and the news in Spanish playing in the background. I would prefer maybe just the music for a nice, casual dining experience. Overall, I really like this place. This may be my top Mexican restaurant in Fairfield. Definitely coming back here. read more

I was excited to try this new restaurant in Fairfield as I've ordered from their other businesses in Napa. Presentation was really good, per usual, and the food was so good as well. My daughter ordered a burrito and I ordered the fried quesadillas. Both were so fresh and tasty. The fresh lemonade I ordered, however tasted like it was made with artificial lime juice? Like the little green lime shaped bottle. It just wasn't good at all. That's really my only complaint, which is minor. I'll definitely be back to try other dishes that caught my eye. read more

Came here after my daughter suggested that we try it out. We came here when it was a bbq joint. Looking at menu, we weren't sure what to expect. We came for breakfast. My daughter ordered bistec con nopales. Her boyfriend and I both ordered chilaquiles. I added pastor & he added asada. My husband ordered the paleo breakfast. We also had their caffe del olla. There were 2 ladies taking orders. The place had good amount of people. It took a little time to get our coffees. They were piping hot! Our food came and we were amazed at how good it looked. Not only did it look good, but it was delicious. Their chilaquiles was soaked in the sauce and they did not skimp on providing sauce with it. The portions were generous and every bite was full of flavor. They cooked my egg scrambled as I requested. The table was quiet as we all devoured our individual dishes. This place delivered delicious plates of food. We will definitely be coming back here. I have eaten chilaquiles at other restaurants and I will say this is the best one I have had. I've had food from this place three or four times already, and they have delivered every single time. The meat was so tender and juicy. Everything on my plate was cooked perfectly and tasted so fresh. The coffee was so good. Wish I could make it at home every day. I've also had the chilaquiles and they were good too. Oaxaca cuisine has a very cozy atmosphere with delicious food and drinks. The pineapple and cucumber lemonades were very refreshing and delicious on such a warm day. The service was ok. The food was mediocre at best. The chilaquiles had absolutely no flavor, the tlayuda had a sliver of cheese and the meat was cold. The "steak" and eggs was $22 the steak was the less than the size of my palm, we ordered it medium well and it came very well done dry and chewy and pre cut. We ordered pancakes for my two girls they were also tasteless. They didn't bring out my nephews food on time so we were all well into our meal when they brung out his, he ordered pancakes and chicken. The chicken was cold on the inside. The orange juice tasted watered down. I ordered a strawberry mimosa, it was ok. I ended up giving it away. The only good thing was the cafe de olla. That right there was very delicious. We ordered one to go and the servers response was "we don't give free refills on the coffee"like ok? We're ordering one to go. I can't believe how busy it was bc the food was not good at all. Absolute horrible planning and treatment by this place. Waited 2 hours to get seated and constantly being told wrong and different times by the staff. Which is honestly fine because I understand places get busy. But really what set me off is a couple who got there after us got seated almost immediately and we were also told that we could no longer order from the breakfast menu. Fuck this place. I hate everyone from the owner down to the busboy. I hope they shut down and the owners go into debt. read more

Came here with my family this am and it was delicious! We ordered the red chilaquiles with chicken, tres leches pancakes and my brother got the green chilaquiles with asada and not only was the presentation amazing but so was the flavor.We also got the cafe de olla which was so yummy but my favorite was the freshly squeezed orange juice! I had this spot on my list for a while because I wanted to try authentic Oaxacan food. It's located in a small strip mall with plenty of parking, which is always a plus. The restaurant itself is quite small, with about six tables, creating a cozy atmosphere The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming truly amazing service. While the menu doesn't specifically list vegan options, they were more than happy to accommodate when we asked. Just a heads-up: the rice is cooked in chicken broth, so it's not vegan, but the beans are. One of the ladies went out of her way to make us custom vegan tacos, and I have to say, they were not only beautifully presented but also absolutely delicious. The fresh mango salsa in particular was a standout. Even if you're vegan, I recommend giving this place a try. The food is great, and the staff are genuinely kind and accommodating. read more

First time for me trying teletas - I had one stuffed with spinach and one with mushrooms. They were delicious! My husband and I were there for lunch on Saturday and they were full so the service was a bit slow though at least we got drinks quickly. I was excited to try the new restaurant. Unfortunately after waiting at the counter for a long period of time to have my to go order placed . The waitress never came to the counter to take my order . She was only concerned with waiting on the tables and people who came in to sit at a table so I had to walk out . Yummy food and great presentation for this newly opened restaurant!!! Service was fast too. Very clean and good space. Small, unassuming place with basic dining. Basic service expected with a small place. Menu options were abundant. Fiancé ordered French toast which he enjoyed and finished. It also was presented quite well. I ordered chilaquiles with chorizo. I love a good chilaquiles. I was surprised that though these were very delicious, the chips didn't seem fresh since they were soggy. We arrived about 4:20pm on Sunday. It was busy! They only serve breakfast and lunch, closing around 5:00pm. We had to wait a few minutes to be seated but the staff acknowledged us often which was very nice. Yooooo muy bien, the tacos were delicious! Home made tortillas, steak charred perfectly, delicious red and green salsa, and the tacos are big! My wife and I both got the 3 tacos plate (you get 2 tacos with rice and beans if you prefer) 2 pastor and 1 asada for ($15). I will be honest here, the pastor was light on flavor.
