This review is strictly for the FOOD--and the food is truly exceptional. I discovered Oaxaca completely by accident, thanks to my glamorous life as a night-shift nurse. When the rest of the world is ordering coffee and breakfast at 7 AM, sometimes I'm clocking out thinking, "You know what sounds good right now? DINNER." And Oaxaca has come to the rescue on more than a couple of occasions. Full disclosure: I've only ordered through DoorDash, so I can't speak to the restaurant itself or the service. But after several orders, I feel morally obligated to give the kitchen its flowers. My latest obsession is the huevos rancheros con chorizo. Two eggs cooked your way over crunchy corn tortillas, topped with ridiculously flavorful crumbles of chorizo, nestled over black beans, with cilantro, red onion, and salsa on the side. It's savory, crunchy, spicy, filling--and exactly what my post-night-shift soul needs at an hour when normal people are eating oatmeal. The chicken mole is another WIN. Tender chicken covered in a rich, deeply flavorful chocolate mole sauce that had me sitting there thinking, "Okay Oaxaca... I see you." Absolutely delicious. The only miss for me so far was the breakfast burrito. It wasn't bad, just pretty average compared with everything else I've tried. When your huevos rancheros are out here performing at Bruno Mars levels, "pretty good" just doesn't hit the same. I'll update this review once I actually visit in person. Until then, Oaxaca will remain one of my favorite 7-AM-dinner spots--and night-shift me is VERY grateful it exists. read more

On the road headed North and I wanted something yummy. Opened Yelp for recommendations...Oaxaca cuisine popped up and looked intriguing. Upon arrival at about 11am the place was busy. Got a table pretty quickly... ordered the Chilaquiles with chorizo.... never had before and they were bomb!!!! Good flavor, tortillas chips still had crunch, eggs were perfect.... service was top notch... orange juice was fresh squeezed. Food was sooo good I decided to order Flan afterwards.... should have taken a picture. So pretty. I'll definitely be back to try more on the menu. Can't wait! read more

This was the first time we came to this restaurant. I must say that I was very impressed with the food. The restaurant stands in a corner with plenty of parking. It's very clean inside and has a comfortable ambiance. Our server was awesome. She was very attentive and very courteous. My grandson had the tres leches pancakes. They come with bananas, cajeta and Mexican condensed milk. They were so delicious. My husband had the Quesadillas fritas; He chose carne asada and al pastor. Those came with rice and beans, I will tell you, everything tasted very authentic and delicious. The tortilla is hand made, it had such a great flavor. Last but not least, I had the flatiron Steak and eggs. The meat was so tender, the potatoes were very well made and the entire plate was just delicious. We had the best experience at Oaxaca Cuisine! We found this little gem on Yelp on a road trip and decided to give it a try. We were traveling with our chihuahua and Oaxaca Cuisine allows well behaved dogs outside only but be advised only two table are available out on the patio. Luckily for us we asked nicely and they brought us out a two-top table and chairs so we could order without waiting for an outdoor table to open. Excellent service! The interior features a bar and indoor tables with lively Mexican framed art. Very clean interior and kitchen (you must walk through the kitchen to use the restroom). I ordered the huevos rancheros with added avocado and my husband got the chilaquiles with added chorizo. Both come garnished with thin sliced red onion, fresh chopped cilantro and crisp sliced radish. The huevos rancheros is two eggs any style over crisp corn tortillas with refried black beans and ranchero sauce, with a side of salsa. Very delicious! It comes with a roasted serrano chili and sliced orange. The chilaquiles with chorizo were some of the best I've had. I also had the fresh squeezed orange juice which was frothy and freshly made, it was amazing and I see why it is so popular. To even it out we each had a Michelada. The micheladas were also great. Fatima helped us and she was very attentive, friendly, and had great menu recommendations. We can't wait to come back for the banana bread pudding and sweet potato cheese cake. Finally! Got to try this spot. I would said the experience was great, time to time the place got empty and crowded. But the service was a 5 star, service work as a team and they make you feel like they can read your mind and even before you ask for things they were on the way with it, fast service. When I first moved to the area, I was looking for a good Mexican restaurant with flavorful food, and I found this little gem! It's small, but the staff are very attentive and welcoming. I've been coming almost every weekend for breakfast as my little treat to myself. I've tried the huevos rancheros, paleo scramble, avocado toast, and even lunch once. Everything has been delicious! The freshly squeezed orange juice is wonderful, and I love the café de olla--it has just the right amount of cinnamon. They also have mild green and hot red sauces if you want extra flavor. Had an appointment for an oil change at 11:30 am and needed to find a place close by. Again using Yelp, this restaraunt was the closest to where my appointment was scheduled. Off of the 80, the restaurant was easy to find and found parking right away. As I entered the restaurant, which only had about 2 other tables with customers, I tot seated right away. I ordered the chilaquiles with chorizo and Jamaica agua fresca. I started eating before I remembered to take a picture. The chips stayed crunchy throughout my meal and the salsa was a bit too mild for my taste. I ordered my eggs over medium but the yolk ended up being over done. Pretty dang good spot. I always come weekdays in the morning, always seats available and staff is pretty attentive. But again, only me at times or maybe another party or 2. Always feels clean inside and cozy atmosphere. Food is always vibrant and tastes fresh. Huevos Rancheros is cheap and perfect filling. Add avocado for an extra 3 bucks. I just wish they would cut the cilantro down, they give me a knife that I could cut with it, but I'm a guy, I don't cut it. Overall, tasty food, fast in the mornings, weekdays. LOVE their Breakfast Burritos! I finally found a place with the BEST breakfast burritos. Good size burritos made with fresh ingredients and lots of cheese - no frozen potatoes. The tortilla is toasted to perfection on the griddle. You can choose between bacon, chicken sausage, chorizo to name a few. I always pick the bacon. Some may say $16 is a lot for a breakfast burrito. But it is so good and so worth every penny. We have eaten breakfast here several times on a Saturday morning, the food is very good. We've even Door Dashed from here. We have yet to try their dinner menu but I'm confident the food is just as good. We like coming here on Saturday mornings because the food is good and we never have to wait in a long line to be seated. There is indoor dining, and I believe a few tables outside. There is usually both Mexican music and the news in Spanish playing in the background. I would prefer maybe just the music for a nice, casual dining experience. Overall, I really like this place. This may be my top Mexican restaurant in Fairfield. Definitely coming back here. read more

Very new, very small, family operated restaurant with all the hospitality one would expect when being invited to dinner at a good friend's house. Walking through the door and being greeted by the beautiful woman at the front of house was a good start to a Sunday brunch date with my husband. The dinning floor is small but they are new and just starting, I see nothing but potential growth here. We barely made it for their chilaquiles before the kitchen switched over to the lunch menu. Hand Slam Fantastic dish. Chilaquiles is one of my husband's favorites and Oaxaca did NOT disappoint. In fact, they hit it outta the park, for both of us. This is a dish you will crave going forward, a dish that pops in your head and will sit there till satisfaction comes in the form of a beautiful Latina woman sliding this crispy, saucy, perfectly fried, artfully crafted yet simple dish in front of your readied fork and knife. I couldn't finish all of mine, I was Full yet, I couldn't seem to put my fork down. It stayed ready in my hand because giving up on this dish seemed sad and wrong. I was excited to try this new restaurant in Fairfield as I've ordered from their other businesses in Napa. Presentation was really good, per usual, and the food was so good as well. My daughter ordered a burrito and I ordered the fried quesadillas. Both were so fresh and tasty. The fresh lemonade I ordered, however tasted like it was made with artificial lime juice? Like the little green lime shaped bottle. It just wasn't good at all. That's really my only complaint, which is minor. I'll definitely be back to try other dishes that caught my eye. read more

Came here after my daughter suggested that we try it out. We came here when it was a bbq joint. Looking at menu, we weren't sure what to expect. We came for breakfast. My daughter ordered bistec con nopales. Her boyfriend and I both ordered chilaquiles. I added pastor & he added asada. My husband ordered the paleo breakfast. We also had their caffe del olla. There were 2 ladies taking orders. The place had good amount of people. It took a little time to get our coffees. They were piping hot! Our food came and we were amazed at how good it looked. Not only did it look good, but it was delicious. Their chilaquiles was soaked in the sauce and they did not skimp on providing sauce with it. The portions were generous and every bite was full of flavor. They cooked my egg scrambled as I requested. The table was quiet as we all devoured our individual dishes. hands down my favorite spot for chilaquiles. First of all, the presentation is beautiful. It's not one of those places where everything is drowning in sauce and looks thrown together. The dish comes out fresh, vibrant, and perfectly plated with fresh cilantro and avocado. You can tell care goes into it. I always get the chicken chilaquiles, and the sauce is amazing. I honestly don't know what they put in it, but it's full of flavor and perfectly balanced. If you like it extra saucy, you can just ask and they'll accommodate. It never disappoints. I've tried the chorizo version before and it wasn't my favorite, so I happily went back to the chicken, which is consistently excellent. The café de olla is another highlight. I drink it black because it's that good. No cream, no sugar needed. It's rich and flavorful on its own. The avocado toast is also delicious and beautifully prepared. The space itself is clean, modern, and welcoming. The host has always been friendly and attentive. They even make their orange juice fresh, which adds to that fresh, quality feel. Even though I tell myself I'm going to try something new each visit, I end up ordering the chicken chilaquiles every single time. That says everything. I had this spot on my list for a while because I wanted to try authentic Oaxacan food. It's located in a small strip mall with plenty of parking, which is always a plus. The restaurant itself is quite small, with about six tables, creating a cozy atmosphere The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming truly amazing service. While the menu doesn't specifically list vegan options, they were more than happy to accommodate when we asked. Just a heads-up: the rice is cooked in chicken broth, so it's not vegan, but the beans are. One of the ladies went out of her way to make us custom vegan tacos, and I have to say, they were not only beautifully presented but also absolutely delicious. The fresh mango salsa in particular was a standout. Even if you're vegan, I recommend giving this place a try. The food is great, and the staff are genuinely kind and accommodating. read more

My husband and I were there for lunch on Saturday and they were full so the service was a bit slow though at least we got drinks quickly.
