    Chillaquilles with chorizo 10/10!
    Lindsey C.

We had the best experience at Oaxaca Cuisine! We found this little gem on Yelp on a road trip and decided to give it a try. We were traveling with our chihuahua and Oaxaca Cuisine allows well behaved dogs outside only but be advised only two table are available out on the patio. Luckily for us we asked nicely and they brought us out a two-top table and chairs so we could order without waiting for an outdoor table to open. Excellent service! The interior features a bar and indoor tables with lively Mexican framed art. Very clean interior and kitchen (you must walk through the kitchen to use the restroom). I ordered the huevos rancheros with added avocado and my husband got the chilaquiles with added chorizo. Both come garnished with thin sliced red onion, fresh chopped cilantro and crisp sliced radish. The huevos rancheros is two eggs any style over crisp corn tortillas with refried black beans and ranchero sauce, with a side of salsa. Very delicious! It comes with a roasted serrano chili and sliced orange. The chilaquiles with chorizo were some of the best I've had. I also had the fresh squeezed orange juice which was frothy and freshly made, it was amazing and I see why it is so popular. To even it out we each had a Michelada. The micheladas were also great. Fatima helped us and she was very attentive, friendly, and had great menu recommendations. We can't wait to come back for the banana bread pudding and sweet potato cheese cake. We were lucky to find Oaxaca Cuisine today and highly recommend them! Thank you Fatima.

The staff here is very nice and the restaurant is very clean. You do have to walk thru the kitchen to go to the restroom but everything looked very clean. The dishes we had were good they had good flavors very title spice. The star was the coffee one of the best cafe de la olla that I have ever had. They have a good amount of seating and parking.

Went to Oaxaca Cuisine today, was greeted by a sweet young lady. Her name was Enet. Food was delicious. Music playing in the back. Very soft where you could still a conversation. Will be returning.

    Door Dash Breakfast Burrito
    Darlene M.

LOVE their Breakfast Burritos! I finally found a place with the BEST breakfast burritos. Good size burritos made with fresh ingredients and lots of cheese - no frozen potatoes. The tortilla is toasted to perfection on the griddle. You can choose between bacon, chicken sausage, chorizo to name a few. I always pick the bacon. Some may say $16 is a lot for a breakfast burrito. But it is so good and so worth every penny. We have eaten breakfast here several times on a Saturday morning, the food is very good. We've even Door Dashed from here. We have yet to try their dinner menu but I'm confident the food is just as good. We like coming here on Saturday mornings because the food is good and we never have to wait in a long line to be seated. There is indoor dining, and I believe a few tables outside. There is usually both Mexican music and the news in Spanish playing in the background. I would prefer maybe just the music for a nice, casual dining experience. Overall, I really like this place. This may be my top Mexican restaurant in Fairfield. Definitely coming back here.

    Fried quesadillas and burrito

I was excited to try this new restaurant in Fairfield as I've ordered from their other businesses in Napa. Presentation was really good, per usual, and the food was so good as well. My daughter ordered a burrito and I ordered the fried quesadillas. Both were so fresh and tasty. The fresh lemonade I ordered, however tasted like it was made with artificial lime juice? Like the little green lime shaped bottle. It just wasn't good at all. That's really my only complaint, which is minor. I'll definitely be back to try other dishes that caught my eye.

Came here after my daughter suggested that we try it out. We came here when it was a bbq joint. Looking at menu, we weren't sure what to expect. We came for breakfast. My daughter ordered bistec con nopales. Her boyfriend and I both ordered chilaquiles. I added pastor & he added asada. My husband ordered the paleo breakfast. We also had their caffe del olla. There were 2 ladies taking orders. The place had good amount of people. It took a little time to get our coffees. They were piping hot! Our food came and we were amazed at how good it looked. Not only did it look good, but it was delicious. Their chilaquiles was soaked in the sauce and they did not skimp on providing sauce with it. The portions were generous and every bite was full of flavor. They cooked my egg scrambled as I requested. The table was quiet as we all devoured our individual dishes. This place delivered delicious plates of food. We will definitely be coming back here. I have eaten chilaquiles at other restaurants and I will say this is the best one I have had. Try them out-their food is delicious!

I've had food from this place three or four times already, and they have delivered every single time. The meat was so tender and juicy. Everything on my plate was cooked perfectly and tasted so fresh. The coffee was so good. Wish I could make it at home every day. I've also had the chilaquiles and they were good too. The lady was super friendly and attentive and the places is so cute and a lovely environment to have a great breakfast or lunch. Really have my fingers crossed that this place makes it.

Chilaquiles, Fried Quesadillas, Tres leches pancakes
    Melissa J.

Oaxaca cuisine has a very cozy atmosphere with delicious food and drinks. The pineapple and cucumber lemonades were very refreshing and delicious on such a warm day. The chilaquiles had the perfect amount of spice and great flavor. The tres leches pancakes were very delicious and served as a sweet treat to share.

    Steak and eggs
    Abigail I.

So satisfied with this place from the service to the food. Such a clean establishment. The food was so good my husband and I both had the steak and eggs such a god cut of meat. The eggs were fluffy. Salsa molcajete was amazing. Only recommendation would be to offer tortillas hechas a mano during breakfast instead of toast. Besides that everything was lovely.

    Maricela E.

Ordered the chilaquiles and huevos rancheros. Both dishes were excellent with lots of sauce and flavor. Will definitely go back to try other menu items!

Second, the food was insane. Given the reasonable prices we expected the dishes to be small, but they were substantial. I got the Warao pizza (added balsamic) with a kinder milkshake, my husband got the pastrami sandwich with a vanilla milkshake, our daughter got a cheese pizza and strawberry milkshake, and we got a pastellito to try. My husband had to help me with my pizza and we couldn't even try the pastellito because we were stuffed (having it for my snack tonight). And everything tasted amazing - I loved the combination of the Warao, and kinder milkshake with Nutella and kinder pieces, need I say more? And husband eats a looot of pastrami sandwiches and he was impressed with theirs. Third, we loved the vibe. It was a casual place with a modern aesthetic. 10/10 would come back again.

Large portion, berries and mango and none of the filler melons that most places use. It was the good stuff! I guess next time we really should try the waffles, because apparently that's what it's known for and I don't know why we didn't go with that but we just weren't feeling something sweet today. As I moved now to Cordelia, I got the opportunity to stop by Huckleberry's in Fairfield. I was super thrilled that they actually had a patio. We were able to bring our pups with us and really enjoyed our time together. With that said that, I'm giving this place two stars. It was great that we got to be seated instantly I didn't have to wait because we were sitting outside. The outside back patio had a whole bunch of picnic tables and all of your utensils and extra ingredients were on top of the table. The menu you had a whole bunch of southern choices. I was super thrilled to see that they had fried okra and fried green tomatoes. Recently visiting Charleston, I really enjoyed their fried green tomatoes. So I said why not give it a chance here. I asked Jennifer, our waiter, what she thought about them and she said they were good. I also made sure to ask what the thickness of the tomato was because I actually like that flavor. We ordered the fried green tomatoes as an appetizer, and two double bloody Mary's. The bloody Mary's were delicious and they came out with bacon and all the garnishes that usually come with it. The fried green tomatoes, were horrible, it was basically batter, you didn't even get to see the tomato inside of it. The dipping sauce was OK, I usually don't do this, but I had to return it because I'm not eating dough! BTW... It also came with a really dirty nasty plate. Secondly, we ordered the fried steak and country gravy. We went for the side potatoes. And we asked for extra gravy. That dish came out pretty well and that's why it's getting this two stars. They definitely need to use a little bit more salt and pepper to add to their food for flavor. Thirdly, we ordered a second round of drinks, this time I ordered their jungle juice, which was huckleberry lemonade and vodka! It tasted water down and like there was no alcohol in it. Even though I asked for a double? At the end of the day, will I be returning no.

There's a counter area where you can order coffee, pastries, breakfast items, or food to-go, while the left side has a hostess stand if you'd prefer full table service inside or on the patio. The brunch menu was a bit limited, and I ended up ordering the croissant sandwich. The croissant itself was soft and fresh, but overall the sandwich left me wanting a little more flavor. It was on the smaller side, didn't have much bacon, and even with the preserved tomato aioli it felt a bit underwhelming. The breakfast potatoes also weren't really my favorite. They were small whole potatoes with the skins on and heavily seasoned with cayenne pepper. Personally, I would've liked another side option such as fresh fruit. That said, the staff was very friendly and welcoming throughout the visit. For two croissant sandwiches, two iced teas, and a side of fries, the total came to around $70 with tip, which felt a little pricey for the overall experience. The property itself is beautiful. It looks like they host live music and events in the outdoor quad area, and I noticed they also offer wood-fired pizza after 11 AM, which honestly sounds worth coming back to try. Overall, I have mixed feelings as the atmosphere and service were great, but the food didn't quite live up to expectations for me personally.
