I had a great experience at RG Kitchen. We were greeted by a delightful woman named GK (I think). We looked at menus and she helped with the ordering process. There were a few people inside and music was playing. I ordered the Tandoori Chicken sandwich, fries and a coke. A burger was also ordered. Our orders didn't take too long. Everything tasted wonderful and the four sauces were a great accompaniment. We were checked on throughout our visit. Ordered food to go for dinner and the service was very nice. The interior reminded me of an in n out. The lady/owner at the front told me it was still a soft opening. I had a cheeseburger, fries, chicken tikka wrap, and red, green, and chipotle sauce. They ran out of fire sauce. The owner told me that the difference between tikka and tandoori is tikka is thigh meat and tandoori is breast meat so I opted for the tikka wrap as thigh meat tends to be juicier. My husband and I enjoyed the green sauce best. The burger was very fresh and the fries were perfectly seasoned and crispy. The food was not greasy at all as no oil seeped through the bags. We came across this spot when looking on Apple Maps for a spot with to stop on our drive from the Bay to Sacramento. My husband got the paneer wrap with fries and I got the chicken tikka wrap. This is a kind of Indian/Desi fusion burger restaurant that specializes in sandwiches with an Indian twist. They have sandwiches like Tandoori Chicken burger, Tikka Masala burger. I decided to try their single patty Lamb Smash burger. The cashier/server was very nice and he said that everything is good and that everything is made to order. Within 10 minutes my order came out and it looked very delicious. There was grilled onions and melted cheese hanging out the sides of the smash burger and the bun looked nice and shiny golden. The lettuce was a perfect nice green leafy lettuce. The French fries were beer battered nice and crunchy texture. They give you a ton of Indian style dipping sauces. One is a Mint chutney, one is a smoked flavored southwestern sauce, one is a tamarind based sauce, and the other was a chilli powder flavored sauce and was the hottest. Though none of the sauces were super spicy, just right spicy for you to enjoy without burning your mouth. The sandwich was very delicious. You can taste the lamb and the meat was nice and dripping with juices. The indoor eating had ample space good enough for 3-4 small families to fit. They could use a better sound system though and maybe add some artworks or something to make the inside a bit more artistic. Main thing is service and food were both great! read more

Both of us had tandoori rice bowls--a generous portion of juicy grilled tandoori-spiced chicken served with 5 different sauces to enhance the tasty flavors, organic basmati rice, and a mound of greens, topped with chickpeas, pickles, onions, tomatoes and crisps, dressed w homemade ranch dressing. Delicious and healthy. We also tried the iced chai lattes--one masala (slightly spicy) one coriander (a bit sweeter, not too) which were both very yummy, but not overpoweringly rich. Very friendly proprietor who owns it with cook/husband in addition to daytime job. Ambience not greatest--could be more charming if it weren't glaringly white. My order was to go and was two combo 1's, one with modifications and one without. Lamb burgers were juicy and flavorful, definitely taste that lamb flavor. I highly recommend the orange sauce, as I could eat my fries and spread it over my burger for an extra kick. Super affordable and quick too! The fries were my favorite part - flavorful, not salty, fried in a way that gives it that extra crisp. Staff was also super friendly. Wow. What a good burger! We decided to pick up dinner since we were kid free for the night. At first, I had settled on our usual Thai spot, but then I decided that I wanted to try something new. After scrolling Yelp for a bit, I came across RG Kitchen. I was intrigued by their lamb burger. Not many places offer straight lamb, as it can be quite gamey, so I knew I wanted to see how they presented it in burger form. We chose to place a phone to go order and headed to the restaurant. When we arrive, the parking lot had plenty of parking, was well lit and clean. The restaurant wasn't busy, but it was very clean, and the owner was happily greeting and chatting with customers. My husband went in and was greeted right away with a warm smile. Our order was ready and we were offered 4 sauces each with our meal. The kind owner even walked us to our car and thanked us for our business. Once in the car, my husband explained that they are still in their soft opening period and that the true opening would be in late December/Early January. The food smelled heavenly! While in Europe, I always go for donner kebab and that is exactly what the seasoning on the fries smelled like. I snuck a fry and I was blown away by the flavor. The fries were crisp, fresh and flavored with a spice that reminded me of Za'atar. As soon as we got home, I whipped open the sauces and dipped a fry in each one. My personal favorites were the chipotle sauce (pinkish) and the tamarind sauce (rust colored). The green sauce reminded me of tzaziki and was a little watery. The dark brown sauce tasted earthy, almost like clay, and had a kick that crept upon your taste buds. I liked the spice, but not the flavor so much. The lamb burger was fantastic. You definitely know you are not eating beef, but the seasoning is so well done and the American cheese compliments the provençal flavor of the lamb. The meat was tender, the buns tasted freshly baked and the fresh lettuce and tomato gave the burger a well rounded flavor. I definitely want to come back and try the rest of the menu, especially the tandoori chicken burger! This place is great! read more
