I have played here a couple of times over the last two weeks. I walked 18 holes and took a cart on the second round. I was happy with pace of play both times and the course is in good condition. They just plugged the greens so give it a week or two and they will be great! read more

Paradise is a good course, well maintained, and good value. The problem is that management is horrible and nonresponsive. I've been a member of their Loyal-tee program for years and a couple months ago they changed the terms of it without telling us or their pro shop staff. We now no longer earn points if we play in a group and they raised the number of points to get a free round. I have heard many members are not renewing, which will hurt their business, but maybe they just don't care. I have contacted Jake Stewart, the General Manager, and he has not responded. read more

One of my new favorite courses outside of the Bay Area. Booked a 2:15pm tee time and finished at 8pm (4hr pace of play average). Nice pro shop. Guys laughed at us when we asked if there was any open slots for us to play just as a pair. I get it but still dude.. The course was beautiful and the weather was perfect in the upper 80's. Plenty of wide fairways and good greens. Had no problem hitting into fairways. I did find the greens a good mix of some where between fast and just right. Some slow too. The golf carts were well maintained and smooth. We got lucky and paired with some guys who were father and son. They were fellow filipinos as well we had a good round. The course was pretty fun and will come again. read more

Great condition. Good pace of play. Food was good. Recommend the smash burger. Range was nice but needs an updated chipping area.

We've been playing this course for many many years and although it's well maintained for a city course, apparently they've changed their policy and no longer Marshall. Our last several rounds have taken 5+ hours and we see Marshalls on the course, but they are not pushing groups along. Be warned you need to plan on a 5 hour round at a minimum...and we are not playing on weekends we are playing on Tuesdays and this is still a problem. read more

It's time to update my review. Today we had two foursomes. Early tee time around 8am. We finished in four hours. Our foursome all did well. No one hit into the bunkers. And we didn't have any slow players ahead of us. I lost one ball in the water and another in the barranca. The only con today: poor drainage in many fairways. Slushy and muddy in some spots. And California is in a drought! Hazy from the Dixie fire burning now for a month. read more

I've been golfing at Paradise Valley for almost 20 years. Whenever, me or my husband finish the round, we order our usual french dip sandwich. Well, today, after my round, I learned there's a new menu but the french dip was still available. AWFUL! this is not roast beef! It's like meat found elsewhere and piled on a bun. Just played a tournament here after avoiding this course for a while. Hoped that time apart would be helpful for both of us. + staff is great, always a pleasant experience - we are NOT encouraging or supporting women golfers. The feminine hygiene dispenser is completely broken and empty. Which let me be clear we don't rely on them, but it's imperative to have in an emergency. - along the course, women's bathroom faucet handle the was completely broken off. It's great to wash your hands - pretty sure that's a basic requirement! I'd love to see these small basic requirements fulfilled as there's so many more women playing golf! read more

Played Paradise today and was very disappointed in the condition of the course. I have played this course a hundred times at least since the 90's and it is sad to see. In all those years, I've never seen the tee boxes, fairways and areas around the greens in such poor shape. This has to be a result of the change in management in the last year. Maybe they are reducing maintenance staff, trying to reduce expenses to make more money, but it's very sad to see. I am afraid that this could spiral into making this once meticulously maintained coursed into just another dog track. read more

Normally I play this course 2-3 per week and use the range that many times paying 50 per pay for range key but for some reason today they put a single behind a foursome instead of letting the single start on the back waited 10-20 min and nobody made the turn could be 3 holes in already but still sitting on #1 box maybe it's time for other courses in the area Rancho,Hidden,blue rock and Napa courses !! Great product, horrible customer service. Posted playing time is 4 hours 16 minute, second Saturday (10/5/24) with a 5 hours 20 minutes round. Pro Shop stated 2 Marshalls on site but they were ineffective. Saw Marshall on 7 and 17, Marshall on 17 was on his phone and never engaged us. 101* on 10/5/24 and never saw cart girl even after call by Marshall on 7. Caroline in restaurant/bar was super nice and service oriented, so props to her. Fairfield Golf needs to care about pace of play. read more

Played there this past weekend and it took 6 hours. Apparently there was a group ahead that was behind at least 2-3 holes. Where was the marshal you ask...beats me. I complained to no avail. Very nicely maintained wide open fairways great for mid to high handicap players like myself. Played the twilight tee time so pace of play was a little faster than normal trying to beat the sunset but overall awesome course maintained greens and fairways decent price. Can't ask for much more. Course is above average for a public course and the staff are good people. My only issue is I left my $600 range finder in the cart and no one from the cart returned turned it in. I live 60 miles away and called soon as I got home for a week straight when I realized I left it in the cart. Expensive lesson for sure but it would have been nice for someone to have turned it in. read more

Duaghter purchase a gift card for her dad on May 28th for his birthday June 13 On June 12th she contacted the course because the card never arrived. She was told that she bought the card from an old system and it would go out the next day. So she thought well he will get it for Father's Day. Father's Day came and went and no card. So she called on Monday the 17 th and left a message no one called her back. So she called Tuesday and was told they did not know when Sam would be coming into work. So I emailed touchstone and she finally got a call with the same excuse. My daughter had to dispute the charge with her credit card company. Bad customer service.... read more

One of the best golf courses in the area. Well manicured, built in 1993 and designed by Robert Muir Graves. This course has many doglegs that follow a creek. Mature trees line most of the fairways and water comes into play on nine of the holes. The 10th hole is Paradise Valley's signature hole. This par-5 hole is in a shape of a "L" so the big boys can definitely try to cut the corner. You definitely have an advantage if you hit a draw. For other golfers like me, you need three good shots to get on the green. The 14th hole features alone oak tree on the left of the fairway and a series of sand traps on the right that lead up to the green. When there is a tail wind, the big boys can reach the green in one, and hitting a fade would be advantageous. If you "go for it", you most likely will end up in one of the traps. Challenging 18th hole where you have to make sure you avoid the lakes. If you hit a weak fade, you are in the water. If you hit a draw, you have a further second shot. The big boys can cut the corner on this dogleg right. The clubhouse serves as a backdrop. It gets quite entertaining to watch golfers finish their round. On weekdays, a round takes around 4 hours. The course itself is ok. But the people here are SUPER annoying. There are 3 two-soles in front of us, and a single! WTH...why r the 2-somes not together and the single with one of the other 2 or with us?!?! Why would you send people out like this? Even my TT was a 2-some! Badly managed TTs and no Marshall to move people along. Common sense would say join together...make it move fast so that everyone isn't waiting 10million hours! May or may not be back. I am hoping this is only a one time thing...might be willing to try again and see if better. Out of all the courses I have played lately...this is probably the most disorganized... read more

This Place and rancho solano have really gone down hill since the new ownership has taken hold. Letting people go during maternity leave, suspending workers after false accusations with no investigations, lead Cook can't even cook a frozen burger patty. Such a shame. Great if you're a white person and can cry wolf I a Mexican person was playing and paid 400+$ for a tea time for my friends and I to only be harassed by a white person and his father to be mad when we played the pace that the golf course recommended we had the golf from Marshall come up to us three times, and we played accordingly to the rules that the golf course recommended but the white couple "father and son" We let them pass us up multiple times and they refused so by the sixth time we told them to pass us they got mad because we had Mexican music and asked if we can get tips on how to play golf because according to them and the golf course we didn't know how to play It's just a racist golf course but they are willing to take your $400 deposit and they also kept repeating, how many cards cards. Played 18 holes at Paradise on a Golf Moose coupon today. Although the weather forecasted in the 40s it warmed up to just like a nice summer day. The greens were a bit rough but the fairways were Excellent. It was almost like golfing at Harding in San Francisco. It only rained yesterday and the drainage is excellent a Paradise. It was perfect. Not too cold not too hot and no wind. Couldn't ask for s Better day. We will be back!! read more

I had the pleasure of golfing with my grandson and son-in-law at Paradise Valley Golf Course, Fairfield CA the other day. The course is always well kept and all the staff are both professional and friendly. This experience was even better because both Jarrett and Ryan went above and beyond to make us feel as if we were the most important golfers of the day. Please recognize Jarrett and Ryan for a job well done and extend our appreciation. To all readers I played this wonderful course on Saturday with the Swingers group. Had a fabulous time, and in so doing forgot my double wall s/s coffee thermos mug in the golf cart. I called the following day and was told immediately that they had it! Now how am I going to get it back as I live 85 miles away?? Well, sure as heck I asked if they could possibly mail it to me c o d ? They took my address and said they would check with the head professional. Played this sister course of Rancho Solano many times. Completely different layout than Rancho. Much flatter and forgiving course. The reason I'm giving it only 3 Stars today is the "slow play". The marshals don't enforce the pace of play. 4 3/4 hours is just too long and why I don't play either of these courses on the weekends. On weekends they can be over 5 hour rounds. I booked my tee time just 3 days ago and was told it was "wide open"? Guess everyone decided to play at the last minute. Oh well, it's the 4th of July and time to give thanks and praise to those who serve our country. Took a VET out today and paid for his round!! That's a good day !! Cheers read more

Golf course is just OK for the money they want for green fees. Condition is always decent, but nothing to write home about. True muni. My biggest issue is I have left valuable golf Equiptment in the cart and called minutes after leaving the course and they are quick to tell me no one has found it. (I returned the cart to the return cart area). 1 person working. This story has been repeated by at least 3 other people regarding this course. Moral of the story - Paradise is a decent track and challenging to a degree but the staff has NO morals or respect for what golf was established to be. My money will not be returning read more

Not so great. The server was cool, but the cook does not listen, nor apologize. I ordered a cheese burger, medium rare. What I got was a "California Burger". It had avocado AND bacon. What?!?! I have a food allergy and can't eat either. I was made to feel like the bad guy! They later brought a cheese burger (well done!) with NO onions or pickles..... Don't eat here. After seeing all these recent reviews it seems like my horrible experience at this course is not an outlier at all...Drove over an hour to play this course on the weekend and booked a tee time previously online. Nowhere online did it mention that the course was hosting a 5-8 year olds Junior tournament on that day. Upon checking in in person, even with tournament signage everywhere, the pro shop failed to mention the tournament and how it might affect tee times that afternoon. Waiting on the first tee box, a tournament marshall approached us mentioning the tournament for the first time. He said that while the tournament was wrapping up, we should be able to play our full round and the tournament shouldn't hold us up. After 1 hole, however, another marshall approached us saying we wou.ld have to stop playing after 1 hole because the tournament was causing too much of a back up to continue. Again, this tournament was never mentioned online or prior to teeing off. To cap it all off, we went back to the pro shop after 1 hole and were met with a very defensive employee saying we couldn't be refunded or credited and that we somehow should've know this tournament was happening. Not a way to treat your customers, especially after your own missteps.. Will not be returning here. read more

The entire place is trash. Driving range is never open anymore because they claim they can't pick the balls.

The course is nice but the people in the pro shop are assholes, they have been for about a year they need better hospitality!
