Agreed that the pro shop staff members can be a little salty from time to time not very welcoming ... But for $45 with the cart, you cannot find a better place to play golf in the area ... The rates are very respectable, I paid under $50 for 18 and a cart on a holiday, and that was without an added discount if you are active or retired military. For after the round, The grill is quite spacious with plenty of seating, TV's showing golf, and a variety of food options and refreshments (both alcoholic and non) at equally reasonable rates . My kids had so much fun that they never wanted to leave, and I loved seeing them enjoy themselves and burn off all that energy. Each arcade station costs so many points to play. The machine accepted cash, cards and mobile pay. A few of the machines were broken, so after the machine took our points with no play we approached the counter and were credited via the play card. There were racing games with cars and motorcycles, shooting simulators, street fighter/mortal combat style games, asteroids, pac man, air hockey and more. The Fast & Furious racing simulator is the best, power ups, nitro packs, the setup of the steering wheel and pedal felt real, the interface was super engaging. My husband and I went head to head and it was incredible! This game is literally the reason I picked Scandia. Miniature golf too, we did both grounds - 18 holes each. We had a grand ol' time. Our daughter and I usually venture to Scandia for her playdates and for her play, but this time was amazing since I got to play too esp play what I wanted to play without compromise. Firstly the drive in wasn't too bad as the event started early in the morning. However this was my first time visiting Green Valley and it looked like a nice suburban neighborhood with a few vineyards and farms tucked into this little valley. The road does need some work as it was a little bumpy. The clubhouse looked like an old Southern two storey home with the columns in the front door. There are offices and a dining room in the original house while a newer single storey building which housed the terrace restaurant and golf shop sat near the right corner of the original building. The golf course is relatively short at about 6400+ yards and features well kept, tree lined fairways. A number of homes border the golf course along a number of the holes. It is a picturesque venue for holding weddings and other special events. The food served was quite good and the staff was professional. Unfortunately I was not able to play the course as I was part of the officiating crew of the tournament. Perhaps one day...

Called back a day and a half later to check on the deposit return mechanism and the staff and manager are both super unfriendly, "can't do anything about it if it's over 24 hours because we throw away the receipts (are you serious?!)". Your carts are there. Your keys are there. I didn't drive 2 hours back home with them. What a grift. Not returning. Do better Blue rock springs.

No control over it and we watched a group finish 18 and restart by jumping ahead of us. Two of them were sharing clubs so it took forever, unfortunately only golfed 9 because of the length of time it took. Another bummer was online prices for tee times vs in store. Online said one price and in store it ended up costing more, real crappy to do that. Besides the tee times issues, it's a great course and a fun time.

I visited to get my distances dialed in, and got assistance after with an email of the report. Turns out it was a single video of someone else. After several days of waiting, I finally got a report with some data. But Carry and Total Distance were not available - whether via browser or the Trackman app. Then I was told I had to have signed into the their bay when I was onsite. But when I arrived onsite with a buddy, we both said we need help getting set up and thus we thought we were - turns out that wasn't the case. Seems to me that if you know Trackman this place may be worth a try. If you don't, you should learn before you go or risk the chance of not having key data available after the session. Unfortunately, with all the back and forth and the fact I never got the 2 most important data points I wanted (the reason I signed up was to dial in iron and wedge distances) I would reconsider going here. When I suggested that all employees become proficient in Trackman and asked what they thought I heard nothing back. Probably worth a try, but, buyer beware. If I were the shop owner, I would have offered a return session on the house. This never crossed their minds. Too bad.
