Love this gym! I was lured in by the promotional $1 dollar enrollment fee, plus reading some…read morereviews I decided to give it a shot. The monthly membership fee for both my son and I is $100 per month for 5 different gyms. Out of the 5 in the area, this is our main location. It's right off the freeway, easily accessible and I always have a positive experience when coming here. Pro's are: super friendly and responsive staff at front desk and at the kids club. In fact my son LOVES coming here so much that even on the days I don't feel like working out, he convinces me to come to so he can go to the kids club. The women's locker room and restrooms are very clean and always functioning. When I come here all the cardio equipment is functioning and there are an abundance of machines to choose from. Even on high traffic days I can always find a machine to use. I've seen some of the weight machines needing repairs but not for extended periods of time. Classes look fun but I'm just not there yet in my fitness journey! Lol. Soon tho... My secret indulgence and my favorite part of coming to this gym are the massage chairs though! After a workout I love to decompress in their amazing massage chairs.... They can recline to a certain angle where your legs are elevated and you feel like you're floating in space while you zone out to the massage. I love to drown out the noise with a good classical playlist, slip on my aromatherapy eye pillow and let the stress melt away for half an hour. You do have to reserve the chair in advance through the app, but that's no biggie. Money well spent!

So... heads up: if you try to cancel your membership, In-Shape makes you pay for an additional 30…read moredays after you cancel. That's ridiculous. I won't be doing business with them again. There are cheaper gyms in the area that don't pull this kind of "gotcha" billing. Terrible business practice.

So we were excited to have another recreation and fitness center available other than YMCA. The center offered a Performing Arts Center, Family pool, gym, climbing wall, competition lap pool, worship center, weight room, group exercise classes and more. I paid for the fitness shuffle classes to include the Zumba classes which was so much fun. My two nephews would be placed in the child watch section while their parents (My cousin) worked out. My daughter also worked at the child watch section. My brother also worked as a personal fitness trainer. We were members of the Kroc prior to my daughter and brother's employment. All the employees were always friendly, nice and helpful. We surely enjoyed our time here. We have a lot of great memories.

He was interested in climbing barely a quarter up the wall then "falling" because that was so much fun! His interest in the rock wall lasted about 10 min before he wanted to see the basketball court, his first experience ever! & He ended up spending 45+ min in there! We then took a little self tour of the facility & now I want to get a family membership!!!! The day pass was only $11 for him, I was simply a spectator so no money spent there, I'm glad he got wrapped up in the court bc if he only did the rock wall for 10 min that would've felt like paying a dollar n ten cents per minute on the rock wall!! so it was nice to see him explore new things & feel like it was worth the money. The person who answered the phone when I called asking about the rock wall was very informative & gave great information. They were very good about calling a staff member over when we arrived, got the rock wall & the girl was helpful with my godson's first real experience doing this! I noticed a sign that JELLY BELLY sponsors the rock wall????! They should have it updated!!!! My Godson was slightly disappointed there was no bell or buzzer at the top, and the grips were lack luster, you'd think Jelly Belly would've at least had paid for an eye catching array of color or maybe jelly bean looking grips??! I have half a mind to email them requesting an update to the wall!!!! My godson was requesting "the rainbow wall" after 7-8 min! (A wall he had seen in YouTube videos) & I could tell he was slightly disappointed & I felt bad because this was the only rock wall in the area I could afford!!!! Still a great experience imo
