Lively place, but unfortunately bartender service is not great. Please be aware of up charges and the bartender KELLY C I ordered two lemonade and mozzarella bites- we were instructed to order at the bar (or front desk) The bartender with the long brown hair, on the older side added french fries( that we did not order) Went back to the bartender (KELLY C) and informed her we did not order French fries. She then proceeded to say they automatically come with the bites. I knew this was not true since they were both charged separately. Upon reading the menu I realized what she said was false... I went up to the front desk and informed him. He seemed more alarmed than the manager unfortunately. The manager ( CHRISTOPHER B) came out, gave me my refund and went about his day. Had a fantastic time here, but the staff is what really sets this place apart! Jamie at the front desk started our night off right--super friendly and got us our lanes and shoes sorted out efficiently, even though it was busy. Once we were bowling, Shelly was our server and she was amazing. She kept the drinks and snacks coming without us ever having to wave her down. Also, a huge shout-out to the manager, Mark. You can tell he runs a tight ship because everything was clean and running smoothly. He even stopped by to make sure we were having a good time. It's rare to see that level of care these days. Joke attitude about not having lanes available pre-league times. Maybe adjust your hours and be a little less attitudey about people who really only want to bowl a few games. Update your hours... Your closed to the public from 4-6pm Tuesdays Wednesdays and Thursdays... Dobt make people feel like a burden to your day and business for wanting one lane and making the drive for it. You can legit make a reservation for these times on your website? Just to turn people away? K. Clown show. Save it's the only decent joint to bowl in RP I guess. Ok so a few months ago (maybe longer my time perception is off sometimes) there was a change in management/ownership - and it couldn't have been a better change. Mostly! Inside is cleaner, more streamlined and updated. It's more festive with different themes for different days/times. The arcade is still there and I feel like they added a couple games. You can earn prizes here now too so that's fun for the littles. The best change was to their food. OMG I highly recommend the chicken sandwich. Spicy. It is SO good. I would even say that I would go there JUST for the sandwich . Food is affordable and the quality went WAYYY up. The reason I took a star is for the price of playing pool here. In the bar area they have a couple pool tables. It now costs $15 an hour to play pool. This really sucked because if you shoot pool anywhere in Sonoma county for the most part games are a buck!! I'm not one to write reviews but my experience here last Sunday 6/8 was one that continues to bother me. Our night started out great. Our server, Zack was a great guy. Very attentive. Things got bad when we visited the bar and witnessed a woman harassing one of the bartenders. Unsure if the one verbally harassing the bartender was a manager or not (I believe her name is Maria) but it was absolutely unprofessional and clearly embarrassing the bartender (I think her name is Kelly) in front of customers. It made me feel very uncomfortable. Thankfully, a bar patron said something to Maria. I believe that if he wouldn't have said anything things would have escalated. This place is a joke. I asked for a water because the people next to us had a couple plastic cups of water from the server and the guy at the front desk refused to give me a cup of water and instead wanted to charge me for a drink. They literally have a soda machine with plastic water cups on top. Makes you wonder how they decide who is allowed to have water and who isn't... was my favorite bowling alley in the area until this experience. Everything was going well until a very sorry excuse of a "manager" came out and started belittling and berating the sweet bartender IN FRONT OF THE WHOLE BAR! Not sure of the managers name, I wish I did. She was an older woman, very short, dark features. extremely rude. Our bartender on the other hand was very sweet I believe her name was Kelly. she handled the situation very well especially for how she was being treated. Bowlero has taken over and it's what I was hoping it would not become. Just another big corporation taking over. I always appreciated Double Decker for having clean restrooms. The reduction in cleanliness is apparent and having wet floors in a bowling alley bathroom means wet floors on the lanes. If you are a league player you might care about this. In general you can see no one is managing the cleanliness the way Double Decker did. Also I am concerned the hours will be reduced to not opening until 4pm. I liked going to practice on the weekends during the day. We had a gem with Double Decker and I will try to keep an open mind going forward. League players get 2 free games a week so that's nice and discounts on food an non alcoholic beverages. No first impression rose. read more

Classic bowling alley with nice deals on certain days way better then the 7ten social at the epicenter. Stopped in with the fellas on a Wednesday night after 9 for open bowling which cost $10 a person for two hours of bowling shoes included. Pins here are not on strings making the whole bowling experience way more realistic. Also a pro shop on site for those serious Bowlers looking to take their game to the next level with Top Notch equipment. Did drink at the bar requires you showing your ID and getting a wristband. Make sure you do this upon check-in to avoid having to get back in a long line just to show your ID. Drinks are super reasonably priced. Game Room socks. Tried to play pop a shot which one and keep score correctly and only had two balls. Asked the attendant about getting a refund and was told that none of the games are owned by the bowling alley don't put your money in them their trash. read more

Finally at 8:30 pm the manager gave a female customer a single glove to pick it up for him instead of doing it for himself while she watched the door. Today my son and I went to Double Decker Lanes for the first time in a couple of years. The lanes and interior have been remodeled since the last time we bowled there. The remodeled lanes are not wood, they are vinyl now. The new bowling shoes stick to the vinyl, doesn't slide. I almost broke my ankles or fell on my face every time I got to the line to release the ball. I saw several other customers do the same thing. It is dangerous for people that grew up bowling. I paid for three games up front, $56 for two people. After one game we were done. I asked for a refund for the two un played games. The manager got pissed off at me for asking for a refund.... If you grew up bowling, this place is not for you. read more

Hit and miss for service. During the busy nights they tend to have more breakdowns. I do enjoy that during the summer they have the Kids Bowl Free program that you sign up. They also offer $25 to be able to sign up to 4 adults to game with the kids. Which is awesome even if we go a few times during the summer. The food isn't the best and usually pretty slow regardless if they are busy or not. read more

Beware!!! If you make a reservation you will be charged an event fee ($20). And then because our party of 8 used their servers to order drinks and food we were charged an additional $55 event fee. If we would have known that, we would have just gone to the bar ourselves. When the Deckers owned this bowling alley it was wonderfully run with great service and wonderful fun. Then of course the big corporation of Bowlero got their sticky fingers in there and what a mess the place is now. The staff is terrible untrained and could careless about the bowlers it is all about the money. They gave us good promises which none is true. I talked to the general manager about several OSHA laws such as having food warmers where everyone stands over the food that is waiting, 2nd the fire alarm went off and not one of the staff got on the microphone and assured the bowlers it was a kitchen grease smoke that set them off. The reason for that: the grills are filthy the food is cold and greasy. The untrained kitchen help delivers food to the wrong lanes and when told simply takes it some where else and gives them good that has been handled again another OSHA fine. The lanes maintenance are poor, sticky. I fell on a lane during league and got a compression fracture in my back. When one of the team members went to get a bag of ice the kid in the kitchen wouldn't give him one. Not only that but not one staff member came over to make sure I was ok as everyone else in the league were gathered around helping me. This is so on the verge of a lawsuit. there was an incident where some old guy was having a bad bowling night and walked over to our lane and just picked up any ball off of our bowling line and threw it on the concrete, when asked why he did this his reply was I thought it was an alley ball??? it was a brand new ball that a couple new to bowling with our league had just purchased. A complaint was filed. When I asked for the General manager or his business card the manager on duty that night threw the card at me. All these complaints listed were taken to this GM and nothing has been done to make this an enjoyable experience for anyone. I was there on Monday night and the leagues are down and place was like a ghost town. I know they don't care it shows. thanks for ruining a great time we all used to have when Jim Decker and his Manager Dennis ran this place. AND also they took away the pro shop for a larger arcade which never had anyone in it. what a loss for all of us. read more

I have been bowling here for years and am a resident around the corner. I'm in leagues with many friends. Recently the bowling alley changed the pattern and oil. Everyone's average has plummeted over 40 pins. We all didn't come here to pay money and be miserable. Everyone buys news balls on an average of 180 and the oil gets changed. I'm not buying more balls. My friends and I are probably leaving and going to Windsor. Bowling league is suppose to fun. But this is depressing. Was disappointed during my recent visit it was a Saturday night we had got our shoes and lane at 11pm last call was just announced so we got our drinks and finally were able to start our game. Was a good time halfway thru until the music shuts off and lights all turn on. Its 11:30 there is still 30min why cut everyone off who just paid and trying to have a good time tell the end. Its sad for a Saturday night 11:30 is when it all stops but sure finish your game in the quiet boring atmosphere. Not to mention this place was filthy, trash left everywhere and the staff is not the most pleasant. Very sadden by how this establishment has went down.
